  • So where does one get Cheese Steak from? Does it come from Beef Cake or vice versa?

  • Oh, Cheesecake _was_ Colossus. Took me the whole damn movie to get that.

  • Kermie's death scene was decidedly Shatneresque.

  • Nice to know political speeches in prehistoric times were as boring as now

  • The level of apathy I have towards this movie is at such a level that I doubt anything, even a Micheal Bay movie, can surpass it.

  • "Wow, those sharp things really work."

  • I think Cheese Steak is definitely not the worst action "hero" I've seen on MST. It just takes way too long before he actually does anything, other than run around and shout "this way!"

When he gets into the action, he's not terrible. Bad, but at least you can tell that they put some effort in, and that kind of over-the-top manliness is the sort of thing you just don't see nowadays outside of video games.

  • @mytruepower2 I'm trying to think of action heroes who have done less

  • @Tareltonlives

Does Adam Chance count? Neil Connery? Zap Rowsdower? Admittedly, go too far down the list, and they stop being "action heroes" as such, but this guy just makes it over that hurtle.

  • I wanna NummyMuffin KookooButter!!!

  • "They're stoic Midwesterners."

  • "Either these curtains go or I do." Love the Oscar Wilde reference!

  • NummyMuffinCocoButter isn't as cute as that kid's poem to Gypsy.

  • "But you must realize that my life is nothing but danger and adventure." I'm always saying that, but it's a hard sell when you're a computer programmer who drives an Accord.

  • @tripoli911 Damn, that sounds like a sexy adventure! "Quick, my love, let us rescue the cheese poofs at the local 76 station, for my fuel-efficient sedan must also be sated!"

Seriously, though, this movie was shockingly watchable. Some films not even MST3K can save.

  • I don't even like you!

  • Wow. I think Maciste must have been played by Taylor Lautner's grandfather.

  • @halfmanhalfmetal

I thought they looked alike too!

  • @halfmanhalfmetal That explains the shirt allergy.

  • "Wow. Those sharp things really work."

I think the only difference they made between Maciste and the various Hercules is that Maciste carried a sword most of the movie. Although he only successfully uses it once.

  • at 2:19 the blonde girl standing next to the soldier starts chewing her gum

  • I wonder what ever happened to Nummy Muffin Coocol Butter?

  • 'good thing he cought himself.... he could have gotten hurt!' Just awsome

  • I think Nummy Muffin Kuckoo Butter would've made a better war hero.

  • Now where is it,the hell im going ? lmao

  • Is it "Cheesestick" or "Cheesesteak"?

  • The real hero of this movie was the old guy. His clothes actually didn't showcase his junk.

  • Notice how Maciste never uses his sword. Apparently he doesn't know which end is the sharp one.

  • -Hate to drag this out, but I need the screen time! Ugh...

From MST3K: The Movie: - ACTING!! lol

  • "My life is always one of danger and adventure!" And also of floating around for days nearly starving to death like at the beggining of the movie?

  • Does anyone else question the wisdom of having a door with a lock which only a superhuman can manipulate? Seems a superhuman wouldn't really need to lock his door.

  • Look at the dark-haired girl at the front of the crowd during that speech. The actress is folding her arms and frowning like it's never going to end.

  • 1:14 well, looks like the curtains stay.

  • 2:27 hes turning into torgo!

OuR ViCtOrY oVeR tYrAnNy AnD eViL

  • The bad guy was literally chewing the scenery at the end. - 2:56 - ...."Asthma"?

  • CHEESESTEAK WAIT!!!!!!

  • Mr Nummy Muffin Coocol Butter was a better action hero than More Cheesecake.

  • more cheesesteak, please!

    XD

  • You know...I've often wondered if it felt weird to Mike (and Joel before that) to be standing up there with the puppeteers crouching down below. Especially when Mike is standing so close to one of the bots.

  • @ChaoticYak I believe I read that on the set where they had that podium there was actually a really big pit on the other side of the desk thing where the puppeteers sat. When I was little I used to think they were just sitting scrunched up underneath a hollow back in the desk or something. So I don't think having the puppeteers down there would be distracting, but rather the giant hole right in front of where you are standing.

  • This is surprisingly painful!

  • Whoa! WAY more crotchular region than I really want to see in a movie!

  • @ElveeKaye HAHA I agree with you 100%

  • He died as he lived...in a skirt.

  • Maybe his full name is actually Colossus Cheese Stake. XD Man, this ep if full of Muffins with coco butter and huge glistening cheese stakes. o-O

  • Crow: "Hey way to go kitty."

  • 3:05 - Am I the only one who thinks at first that the boring speech guy is actually suddenly saying "Blah blah blah" in the movie? KM really dubbed it in good that time!

  • Well, at least Maciste was damn fine to look at. That's a lot more than you can say for episodes like Puma Man or Deathstalker, other crummy "hero" movies.

  • I hate when you come into port just for a quick lay and then she ends up swimming after your boat.

  • Uh... Where is Maciste *going*? He'd rather take his new gal on a journey of "danger" and stupidity than stay with her in the land where she's queen of a recently emancipated people??

...What a dickweed. Maciste: Not a hero, but an incredible simulation.

  • "Wow, those sharp things really work."

"Don't watch, it only encourages him."

    "I..I have a war wound and...it...doesn't work."

  • It's tough to really see but is the princess really hot or is it just me?

  • She's hot.

  • 1:14 - "Whoah! Scooch down a little!"

So where did the Colossus part come in? His name isn't Colossus!

  • Cheesesteak WILL be back in David Brenner's 'Soft Pretzels and Mustard'!

I actually almost squirted the proverbial milk out of my nose!

    Thanks for posting. =)

  • "psst! We could leave! He wouldn't know!"

  • i LOVE the funny background commentary to this action film

  • "Oh the irony! of something.. I have no idea..."

  • His life, his love and his lady...is the sea...

(But Brandy, you're a fine girl...)

  • This... is... easy... comedy... is... hard!

  • The father really reminds me of Torgo.

  • holy crap me too, i thought that when I first saw him lol

  • Mike: Either these curtains go or I do!

    Niiiiiiiiiiice reference there.

  • Kurt in "Brain That Wouldn't Die" took less time to die than Kermes!

  • "Dying is easy....comedy is hard"

  • I don't know what they saw in NummyMuffinCoCoButter, that thing looked like a pig-rabbit with down-syndrome :Z

  • Mike: Good thing he caught himself. He could've gotten hurt.

    Mike: More cheesesteak, please.

  • 00:20 Please, no more man panties

"Oh the irony of... something, I have no idea"

  • Frank and Dr. Forrester turn into complete saps when Nummy Muffin Cookol Butter is around. XD

  • @ElveeKaye I love Nummy's tail!

  • "Wow, those sharp things really work"

He died giving one last buffalo shot.

Maciste will be back in David Brenner's "Soft Pretzels and Mustard"!

  • "What did you do to my husband?"

"So, old Jim and I went down to Hannibal...."

"Look, I don't even like you!"

  • "I have a war wound and...it doesn't work!"

Cheesesteak/Colossus: But you must realize my life is nothing but danger and adventure.

    Crow: [laughs mockingly] Yeah right!

    "I'm gonna cut him!"

  • Crow T Robot with a machette!!

    Ahahahahahhhhaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!

  • "Go back Flipper."

  • I can't stop laughing at the stinger. The way he sinks slowly to the ground is hilarious.

  • I love the stinger at the end of "Hamlet", but this is good too.

  • And he gracefully sinks to his death. Ah, we should all die so dignifiedly.

  • "Epilogue."

"...all this for a cheese steak."

  • "This is where being a Theater Major is really going to come in handy"

  • "It's rainin' men, hallelujah"

"The cops were asking about you killing my husband"

  • thanks for posting mst3k, keep em coming ;)
