Excellent - but Greg that Soprano Saxophone player is a knockout. Love Sato's 6 string bass too but you are all professional musicians obviously. There are certainly some good musos around. My best mate is a string bass player and world class. Lot of goo musicians here downunder in OZ. Have a listen to Tommy Emanuelle (guitar) sometime.

Cool ! A little reverb on the marimba wouldn't hurt, a little (big) less on the soprano. The combination of the two mallet keyboards can be exploited in a parallel voicing, even in unison. But I don't mean to say I dislike your counterpoint.

not many are covering Gino. It must me hard to do. I have been a ran of Gino since 1976 or so. I saw him three times. If any of you are ever close to him, go see him. His band has shrunk down. He would probably let you set in for a couple of sets on his show. He would have nothing to lose. You are all good.

This is a fresh and amazing revitalization of a tune invented by a very young musician named Gino Vannelli. All these years later, the inventor of Crazy Life still looks young to me, perhaps because there is some sense of childhood wonder in his eyes to this very day. In any case, I am sure that if this reinvention of Crazy Life makes it to Gino's ears, he will be thrilled by the workmanship he has inspired and the beauty captured by Gennnk & Friends in this recording.

Well, The idea is nice, and I understand that can be difficult to make a "remote arrangement". Good Greg, Gennnk. Bass is a little flat, sometime there are a bit too much leadind part at same time. To be honest I don^t like the Xenia "track". But anyway go ahead, the idea is really interesting and waiting for other Vannelli tunes.
