I smell jealousy, at his age u all couldnt even lift up a guitar. let alone play and sing at the same time. his voice will drop someday. go practice yourself and video or it didnt happen. Jealous bastards
I'm sorry but it's truth...He has ni rhythm...I don't understand why everybody find that he's awesome...At this age, Joe Bonamassa was awesome...Maybe he tried to play the blues, but maybe it's because he's young...
So very very poor. Where is the tune. It seems that all he knows how to play is little solo pieces. He has lost the most important thing about blues. The feeling, story and tune. Here, there is nothing, just a rabble with no timing. His voice although young is not matured, so sounds awful. I feel there are people behind him feeding his ego and making lots of money off his back.
He is only on the scene because of his age. If he was 20 years old playing like this, he would be laughed at
I saw him perform at the stevie ray vaughan tribute in arlington tx sept 2011....I just hope the entertainment industry doesn't steal the innocence of passion in him///
fuckin amazing. i would kill to be able to play like him. i never really liked the blues until i saw his story on the news and now i love every bit of it
@JoeTheGuitarD00d Thank You! Finally someone who isn't fuckin deaf! No rhythm, no timing and sloppy crap is all I hear from this kid. How far did he get on AGT? Exactly, not far at all. He's nine in these vids, lives at home and has no responsibilities to speak of. No lost women, no lost jobs, no lost friends, no lost anything! Impossible to know what "the blues" are, period. No matter how old you are, if you claim to be "the shit", better back it up with something spectacular. This wasn't it.
the kid knows his basics and all that but can't keep timing and this just sounds like shit. but then again i was eating shit with spongebob at his age
I can understand what you’re are saying about his rhythm, and I follow you. But isn’t the track going way to fast??? If I could see, there was a real drummer I would had believed, that he was the reason.
His dad didnt push him at all this guitar playing is coming from himself
He plays from soul T-MAN U ROCK
and judging from your account name you are a fatass snob who spends his days at mcdonalds cuz u better get on a treadmill b4 u even apply for a job at mcdonalds
@super2rofl You miss the point. There are are a handful of genuinely talented young blues guitarists out there, some struggling to make ends meet, this kid is not one of them - just a fame wannabe. As for playing from the soul - we can all guess which soul that is, eh?
I've seen this kid lay out some straight-up nasty licks but there's no denying that he needs to work with a metronome for a bit. That drummer is chasing him left and right, and it ruined the song.
Let this kid grow up before you pass judgment. Sure, his voice sounds like a child's voice...but, he's a master of the guitar and only 10 years old. Don't hate his success, be bitter at your own failure. Rock on, TNL!!!!
No feel or soul, the kid needs to understand where this music came from - a product of pushy dad syndrome. Not even any novelty value for this sort of thing anymore.
@GuitarEbb maybe it sounded terrible because your itunes was still playing justin beiber. I'll let it slide this time but remember to pause before you watch the video next time, alright bud?
@jakeybabs Wtf are you kidding me?! I think this kid has talent but this was pretty shit okay. Look at my guitar videos fag.I dont listen to Bieber crap.Dumbass
3mani3, thank you for your obviously knowledgeable and profound observations on this boy. Could you kindly define what you refer to as 'the basics'? What does 'randomly shredding down some notes' actually mean? Do you actually have any musical thoughts of your own or do you just prefer to plagiarise others who post on youtube? I'm sure he is absolutely bowled over by the fact that you support his career. As for getting him a good teacher, who would you suggest - your humble self, perhaps?
the only reason he gets hyped up is because he can do a few little tricks that people who dont play guitar would think is cool at a young age so what???
@8289896996 Of course you were. I of course invented every musical genre since Ragtime, I stood on the Moon and I taught Hendrix everything he knew. Get a grip!
Ok, I've seen a couple of his videos now. And I know you're all desperate for my opinion. There's no doubt he's great for his age, and once he's grown older chances are good that he's gonna be one of the greats. But for now, he's really gotta stop singing (my opinion) and start to focus on simple rhythmic patterns. It seems like he's never learned the basics and began with randomly shredding down some notes. Once again, I support his career but someone get him a good teacher, please.
Tecnically he is good for his age, but when it comes to his time its awfull. He is not listening to the band at all. It sounds like he is just trying to show off in some kind of solo show.. If he is going to be a guitarist in his adult life, he'd better start using his ears instead of his ego :), thats my oppinion.
If he stays with this instrument with the proper encouragement he'll develop some rhythm. Hopefully, there'll be some honest contributors to his improvement who will guide his talent rather than cater to his ego.
He is missing chords,he suxs!!!
