    -notJUSTguitar

  • good attempt dude

  • Better than if I tried..

  • very good attempt!

  • I've been learning this song too, and it's cool that your interpretation is almost note for note the same as mine! I just have to speed it up now. Thanks for sharing!

  • man you are AWESOME!!! I LOVE IT!!!

  • that is AWESOME, bro! right on!!

  • It all sounds right to me. Great job! I was looking for this more than an actual cover of the song.

  • man were did u learn this...i looked everywhere and couldnt find one that sounds like it but this one does!!

  • I did it the old school way, I sat down and figured it out by ear. I was going to post and instructional video but I've been way to busy and I'm barely on here anymore. I'll try and get to it soon but I can't promise anything. Sorry.

  • little slower than the original, but still awsome job 5 stars

  • Perfect tone dude

  • impressive! it sounds so much like it! :)

  • Dude does Lincoln Brewster have a tab book yet of Today is the Day album?

  • Dude, VERY CLOSE! Get that up to speed and post another video SOON!!!

  • Dude it sounds great but you have to lean of the the weird delay it just makes it sound weird.

  • Dude That was Great!! Accuracy is way better than speed, and you proved that right there. Sweet Action! btw you said you downloaded lincoln brewster's patch onto your POD X3 Live, I was wondering if you could say what exactly the settings are for those of us who want to get at least close to his tone but don't have a POD X3 Live or XT Live. (for example: what model (insane? what is the treble, bass, drive, presence, compression...etc...) If you can't then that's fine.

  • I don't have an x3 live but i use a floor pod plus.

My sound is super close to Lincolns and use the Blackface Green or Red, I can't remember. with a 4x10 cabinet programmed in. I also use the same OD-3 pedal, and the sound is sooooo close.

  • i look everywhere for this tab and i cant find it..

pleeeeease i need the tab.. pleeeeeeeease

  • Dude! Awesome! Definitely break it down for us in a lesson or something. That would be sweet!

  • dude can yout tell me wat scale are using for the first part...is Dmajor or..well i cant guess...and guys its killer tone dude..

  • Great Job Dude. Once you get the speed down you'll be spot on. Break down that opening riff for us. Nice tone also.

  • hey man, it may not be up to speed, but that crap is RIGHT! did you do it by ear measure by measure? I heard that off the new record for the first time and thought, man my playing has become stagnant; I don't even know where to start with that one. Nice work....

and WHY is nobody commenting on this guy's TONE! spot on man!

  • Ya i figured it out by ear it took awhile listening to each section over and over. I'll get some tab together or a instructional video when I get a little time.

    Thanks

  • can you send the tabs please please

  • Yes! I've been waiting for someone to post this. Great job man. Now you have to do the solo :)

  • Thanks. Ya it took me awhile to figure out that intro riff and the solo is twice as long. I think I'll try to get the intro down solid before moving on to the massive solo.

  • hey awesome man...good stuff..wat effects are u usin..pod??

  • Thanks, I'm using the X3 Live, and I'm actually using one of Lincolns patches (20a).

  • Yeah man. i thought it sounded a lot like Linc's sound. sweet job bro
