  • I was there that time..it was great when S'pore play it...my hair in the back stood up when they score...

  • Montenegro deserved final!

  • lightfoot like singapore john terry

  • ok singapore we wait for you in MALAYSIA.

  • @SouthSlavicCernogor Singapore still pwned Montenegro kids even tho they're short as hell. that proves a point. sure singaporeans may be short. but they still kicked montenegro's ass not once, but twice. and that's final

  • Fifa rang list oct 2010 singapore 127ops thet suck.Fifa Montenegro 26 continental 15 in Europe population 600000 Montenegro is also very good in basketbal handbal waterpolo Europian champion and more sport results.Mirko Vucinic roma Stevan Jovetic fiorentina Simon Vukcevic Sporting and more good sportsmen like Savicevic and Mijatovic bout europian scores and europian champion with Milan and Real Madrid

  • Montenegro is milion time beter sport nation then smal shit people from singapore.look they like dwarts and Montenegro heigh is like 1,90.Montenegro warrior pride country with real mens.E viva Montenegro suckers

  • u rock singapore!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the keeper is the weak link, but nontheless great effort from the team.

  • Singapore win 3rd place only among 6 teams that include Vanutatu, Haiti, Bolivia, Montenegro, Zimbabwe and they are so happy already. None of these teams have qualified for the world cup but people make such a huge hype about it, that the future of Singapore soccer is bright. Please open your eyes people. Maybe if Brazil, Mexico, England, Ghana and Australia were taking part in and they got 3rd, then we talk. but seriously?

  • @PeterJefferson Nice one

  • @PeterJefferson why cant we be happy? Yes, Vanutatu, Haiti, Bolivia, Montenegro, Zimbabwe have not qualified for world cup, but neither did Singapore. But c'mon, Montenegro and Zimbabwe is not some kucing kurap country. Their National Team is of some quality. Why so hard to give credit when its due?

  • @PeterJefferson By the way, Bolivia qualified for the world cup on 3 occasions... Montenegro played in the 2006 World Cup as "Serbia and Montenegro" before they started competing in international tournaments as "Montenegro" from 2007 onwards... Anyway, it doesn't matter to me whether any of those teams have qualified for the WC... Just young boys playing and give them the credit they deserve

  • These young sporean boys will bring back the Kallang Roar!! unlike the national team..

  • BORING!!!!!!!!! sub me

  • yep!

  • @dumbmp3 Why the lol at me?You are still that RETARD Keyboard Warrior who thinks hes a class above the Sg team,so Lol yourself ;)

Go and play football on your computer or in your room where no one can see your "Fantastic" skills.

    Ps:Its "thats chunbot882 problem" NOT ''that chunbot882 problem'' :)

  • @dumbmp3 Bcos I can't stand liars, arrogant pricks and ignorant bastards.

  • @dumbmp3 What's your problem. You like to show off here in youtube. But you do not want to have a chance to show off in real competitive match. What's wrong with playing for Singapore? Prove yourself to the Singapore FA. Prove to them that you can play. Singaporeans will all be proud our players if you are good, passionate and committed, bcos our Senior team has no passion. So get going now.

  • @dumbmp3 First and foremost, I never brag about me great in football, you are the one here. Secondly, School team? Hey kid, you make me laugh. Can you make even it to the Singapore team? Why are you not selected to represent Singapore?

It's perfectly fine to be arrogant, but prove it in with action not with words. Prove you will be great footballer the world have seen, then I will shut up. Otherwise you are just a pretender. Get it boy?

  • Singapore lose liao la, 0-2 game over tmd. sibal

  • We are the world , We are the children~~~ HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI HAITI

  • Fucking niggers haiti play like fucking monkeys. Seriously you guys have to watch how they play. They blindly kick the ball when they're nearing the goalpost and they played rough. And their goalkeeper has the habit of asking his defended to kick the ball for him. What, does he need a banana to be thrown to him then he'll kick the ball himself???

  • I'm watching the s'pore haiti match now. I think the coach made a VERY big mistake by putting that indian Hanafi Mohd as center forward. That fucker got so many chances when he had the ball, but he doesn't want to kick it.

  • wow..this video is clear quality !

  • @dumbmp3 It's not our citizen not good enough. It's because our citizen do not try to play professionally but continue to shamelessly brag about how good they are behind a computer screen. There is simply no enough passion here. But I truly hope this bunch of young boys can do well and continue to play passionately like they did here.

  • @dumbmp3 Alo Talk Cock King, I neber say I am good...You are the one talking BIG here. You say you are so good?! Where are you now? Playing for any professional Football Club? Playing in Europe? You can't even make it in S-League you want to talk Cock here ah??!! You not shy ah.?! You go play at your HDB football court lah alamak....LOSER!!!! LOL!!

  • @hellocassidysim

What comes around, goes around. If YOG was hosted elsewhere, i am 101% sure we received the same sh*t from hosting country. Besides that, how sure u tink the jeers are from Singaporeans? Foreign neighbours are there too. They came support SG with 1 reason (excluding jeers), becos they believe CUBS will do asian football proud. Singapore can't be united with ppl like u.

  • @hellocassidysim

u think playing mahjong or card game? Which team sports is gentle? =)

Are u a sportsman? If the CUBS are annoying, Montenegro can do the same to us. Its a fair play with referees to judge. Who will want to see a football match with 22 sissy sissy walking around? Talk to us again when u learn what is football.

  • LIONS will always stand on their ground. Invaders~ fk off =)

  • who needs foreign "talents" when we have them. go cubs!

  • Scrap the foreign talent scheme (for football only). There's been too much of a mixture of foreign cultures/talent and force-shaping an egotistical Team Singapore(Lions). The Cubs will have great future ahead if they stick around for long taking this YOG exposure as a stepping stone.

Give them credit, they did all they can for the country and when your body is physically & mentally pushed to the limits, there's no time for graciousness.. i can say,get on with the game, let football do the talking

  • Hey!..did the Cubs really play tough and rough against bigger boys ?!

That's what it takes to be a Lion!

    Look up into their eyes

Feast on them like they are the rhino, elephants, giraffe

    They are yours to take

Listen to no more of their growl, for they will be silenced by your every gnaw...

    gnaw... gnaw... ... .. .. .. .. . .

  • Great job Singapore cubs!! Senior team should learn from you!

  • @dumbmp3 Shut your trap. "I don't want to show my talent" *PUKE!!!!!!

  • @dumbmp3 You are a retrard....plain stupid and arrogant.

    All talk no action.

  • @dumbmp3 Yeah right, you're just a keyboard warrior trying to put all of them down.

  • Comment removed

  • @dumbmp3 Thats the problem with Singaporeans.

  • After national service, all becomes normal players again...

i have watched the cubs in action. seriously, a little more tweaking here and there, they can be a credible threat to thailand/south korea/japan

  • Well Im proud of my country for training such young boys into great footballers. Im sure these cubs can achieve more in the future. What we need now is to concentrate on not being too complacent. Then maybe they can beat higher standards like argentina or germany.

  • @ijal55 Great for singapore football in the future. They all will be Singapore National team players in the future. Asean football will grow up. Small country but strong football.

  • i agreed with extremezorro ... i rather see them play than s-league

  • I love their mix of Malay Chinese Indian and Eurasian players.. ALL LOCAL AND NO FOREIGN TALENT!!!! Dats why they play with pride!!!

  • Singapore lions is the best forever!!!

  • And Can tell me . they all are real singapore or naturalise ?

  • @MUANGTHONGUNITED All real singaporeans

  • Great singapore . U 12 or U 14 any one can tell me

  • @MUANGTHONGUNITED its under 15:)

  • young 15 year olds scoring such epic goals.. no wonder the "football fever" is back in singapore

  • agree wif extremezorro :)

  • I've watched them play and to be honest, I rather see them play rather than the s-league. They got touches. They got skills. They create spaces. Every attacking is a threat to the opponent. Wanted to see them live at stadium but unfortunately heard that the tix sold out. Go for it guys...U guys can do it and dun be surprise that singapore might meet montenegro again in the finals...

  • Oo pls o did u see Singapore 1st opening goal in the 1st match of yog soccer? thats was brilliant! from kids like 15yr old scoring such epic goal!

  • eeee kakve mi glue golove primamo..............

  • the last goal was stupid. Montenegro passed the ball back cos there was a man down and Singapore takes advantage of it with no sportsmanship at all.

  • @PeterJefferson

don't be stupid you idiot, this is soccer and it was their own fault for making such a bad pass

  • @PeterJefferson So the Montenegro has better sportsmanship by trying to hit the singaporean and getting a red card? Or by pulling them with their hands. Please watch the entire match before giving ridiculous comments.

  • @PeterJefferson

Singapore has no sportsmanship @ all? Get a life: the Serbs didn't cease play upon the foul and were in fact intending to do a back pass to their goalie; only for themselves to kick it so lightly for Singapore to seize it and score...

Sportmanship: does it mean Asians countries have to give way to f**king whites?!?!?

  • @PeterJefferson yea like as if that wouldn't have happened the goalkeeper and player were singaporean instead.

  • @PeterJefferson Are you a sore loser or you simply don;t understand the game? Is this the first time you watch football? Have you been following any football leagues or World Cup or have watch any other football matches? I strongly suggest you educate yourself first in the game of football, before making further moronic statements. You only made yourself look bad and foolish.

  • @PeterJefferson oh why not i give you a free ball to score so that you'll score the winning goal and you'll just let it go like that.

In your country, in front of thousands watching you.

    Bastard

  • @PeterJefferson Your comment is so stupid and retard. Are you all empty inside your head? Knock Knock. Okay, there's an echo. Its empty! LOL

  • Well done, boys !!

  • Yeaaaaaaaaahhhh!

  • pay money to watch kids playing football when we can watch it for free at our neighbourhood street soccer court..and oh...they are all pure singaporeans too

  • GO YOUNG LIONS!!! GOOO!!!! YOu guys can do it!!! Get that Olympic medal!!!

  • Well done Young Lions! Spectacular play there with Montenegro. Awesome dribbling skills and really good fighting spirit you guys put up there. Just don't get the victory to your head and let down your guard for this Sunday's match against Haiti. All the best and may you win at least a Silver for Singapore!

  • the montenegro boy who made that last backpass will remember this day for the rest of his life

  • These boys deserve praise and Singaporean should be proud of them. They show that they are not intimidated by the physically stronger opponents and not afraid to take on their defenders, they take risks and every players seems wanted to have the ball and not evade responsibilities or fear of making mistakes. If these boys continue to improve technically and physically, then there is hope in the future of Singapore football. Well done boys!!!!

  • I admire their spirit! Unlike S League. Once they down they plant their ass on the ground and hope for a whistle.

  • great job guys!! too bad you guys have to serve national service which will end your football careers. And please move overseas to pursue your career. There is no such thing such as balancing football and studies.. The best footballers are academically useless.. Win it this sun!!

  • there is a difference between the s-league playing for money and these young boys playing for passion. remember those Quah Kim Song days ?

  • lol, i was there, my fren and i were trying to start cheers but some malay boys down in front were awesome at the cheering, the game was so fun to watch

  • Woohoo...Looks like Fandi, Abbas and Lim Tong Hai have successor...i really hope 10 years later they can bring us into world cup..FAS really need to invest on them heavily rather than getting in FT...Our S League has really stagnant over the years..i would rather pay to watch this...go on boys...get into the final

  • This made me proud to hell and so patriotic because they didnt get 'foreign talent' to play football for singapore. This goes to shows that we dont need foreigners here! First time in a long long time i have seen such support for singapore football.

Well done to the cubs! Dare to dream; used to be my primary school motto. :D

  • the no 10 will be a top player for singapore, but he must train his right foot abit

  • shame on you s league...these young stars are more worth to watch

  • good play.... keep it up boys....

  • great job Singapore for the win! great to see the young people playing this olympic(:

  • I don't know this keeper much. But all I can say is, he did a very great job is bouncing back from mistakes, he took the flak in his stride and responded with a decent 2nd Half performance which was what mattered. Yes it might be Montenegro. But on paper, they were favourites, we cancelled them out... As for us playing dirty, that's rubbish. If we did play dirty, Ammirul would have retaliated once he got punched on the chest. Kudos to Singapore for keeping their cool/concentration. Well done!

  • Montenegro Balik Kampung Liao!!! WooHoo!!!! This shows that the victory against Tottenham Hotspurs academy was no fluke!!!! Montenegro juz lost the plot!!!

  • haha we won we won!!!!!

Hanafi is the best la great tracking back

  • seriously people should stop running their mouth. if you're so much better how come i don't see you representing the country.

  • @kinkkonk72

I think the reason why we falter at senior level is because of national service...that's 2 years without regular training...I can't blame them if we don't excel at senior level

  • @jaykua u got a point there.....

  • The boys put on a fine performance and as Singaporean I am proud of them.

Even if it's against the likes of Zimbabwe and Montenegro or Haiti, the boys have demonstarted that they could in future be champions in SEA or perhaps top 10 in Asia. That is something to be proud of.

  • we always did well in the age group...but its when we are at the senior levels that we lose out....which i dont understand why? while the other country's boys will develope even if they make it to the senior level, our boys will stop progressing the moment they become regulars at senior stage....

  • Singapore played well. To those who think otherwise, you can go chop off your dicks or whatever. For all I care.

  • anyone know where i can watch more clips of this match? rather than just the goals..

  • To that particular comment

"the keeper is rubbish" - i dont know where he got the idea the keeper is rubbish, clearly didnt watch the whole game.

  • @muatikah do you know the keeper? maybe u should see the previous game. I will only be impressed if they've got a clean sheet. No point saying them good if they have bad defence. Yes i've watched the game, FULL GAME! . I've watched singapore football my whole life!. Typical lions.. once got an early goal, and then started to lack defence. OVER CONFIDENT

  • @muatikah Actually, he was masturbating while watching the Montenegro players.

  • To all critics: Do you that if you are 15 years old you can play better than the boys?? These boys did the nation proud. Very brave young boys and worked as a unit. I am proud and would willing to pay more to watch them on Sun. Anyone got tickets?

  • c'mon singaporeans. these are very young boys. the least we can do is be supportive. its important that at this age they get encouragement n support.

  • honestly, i really feel that singapore played dirty. i'm ashamed to be called a singaporean. you should've been there. the referee is one of the worst.

  • @hellocassidysim What a dumb bitch. You're ashamed of being Singaporean yet you bought tickets for the match to see them. Get the fuck out of singapore if you're ashamed to be a s'porean.

  • @SSJvegito5O1 I DIDN'T BUY TICKETS YOU DUMBSLUT. I admit sg team had some good players, but if you sat at the first row and had a good clear view of what was going on.. it would really disappoint you. my whole team of friends were supporting sg, till they realised that sg was really too annoyingly rough.

yea i know montenegro's 13 gave one of sg's boy's a punch, when actually it was a push. the papers are exaggerating. i was just behind montnegro's reserve players, first row. i saw everything.

  • @hellocassidysim Who the fuck cares whether you bought the ticket or not? My point is if you're ashamed of being s'porean so much then why the fuck would you even bother watch them live? Your the almost unknowing minority with that mindset of yours, cause RIGHT NOW ALMOST THE WHOLE OF S'PORE ARE SUPPORTING THE CUBS. Your just jealous of those boys achievement. You can't achieve anything with that crooked teeth and retarded mindset of yours, stupid ugly whore.

  • @hellocassidysim And the way Singapore played, I'm not denying that there are few rough moments that they did. But singapore's team is one of the most lenient and rule-abiding I've ever seen for an international soccer event. If you think the way singapore played as rough then you obviously never watch the world cup. I think you'll be a retarded slut by the time you finish watching it. So don't talk like you know soccer, whore.

  • @SSJvegito5O1 HAHAHAHA HOW DOES THAT MAKE ME A WHORE. OMG YOU'RE A JOKE I SWEAR.

AND I DON'T THINK YOU'RE THAT GOOD LOOKING EITHER GIVING THE WAY YOU SPEAK HAHA OMG DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @hellocassidysim Look at you. Your now typing in full caps. I think the effect has set in on you already. Congrats, you are a retard now. Whore. GTFO.

  • @SSJvegito5O1 what a gracious singaporean and you're crazy over football and getting so agitated over this. and it's football. sigh, can't i even have a normal convo about anything here? all you people do is insult and curse with no sense of respect. all i did was state what was on my mind for a discussion, omg. MM LEE IS SO RIGHT. SG WILL NOT = GRACIOUS SOCIETY IN HIS LIFETIME.

  • @hellocassidysim No shit. So why would you even take all the rough plays very seriously? So much so that you're ashamed to be a singaporean just because of watching 1 soccer match? It's just football, don't take it seriously just like you said. There are bound to be foul plays, if there's any. Your the one taking it VERY SERIOUSLY, not me.

  • @SSJvegito5O1 you should've been at the actual match! THE WHOLE CROWD WAS JEERING AND BOOING MNE and when they were injured they cheered -.- and freaking shouting at them to go home and die and all. like srsly, wtf? how proud can i be of sg like this?

  • @hellocassidysim lol, knowing moreover how singaporeans are i find very unbelieveble that they behaved like that with MNE team. I just can't believe it. I would believe it if it came from Korean and Vietnamese fans, who are the shame of Asian fans, but from Singaporeans and in an olympic even, come on. I can't believe it!

  • @Chunbot882 Have you been to anywhere else in Europe to watch a football game? Italy? England? Spain? Look here, I disapprove the vulgarities and derogatory chants used against away teams. Which country doesn't have football hooligans, doesn't have such things happen? I am not trying to defend their action, but be fair with your judgment and not just take potshots at asian fans. There are worst European fans in football games and even racists chants. Don't deny this fact.

  • @darrendelong @darrendelong i think you have completely misunderstood what i said, as what i say partially agrees with you. About your words about Asia and Europe, being an "eurasian" myself i guess i know asian and european football much better than an american who would even call this sport "soccer".

  • i just saw a malaysian girl here insulting Singaporean fans and all i said was that she was lying when she said Singaporean fans behaved like barbarians. Seems a couple of people misunderstood me when i said "i can't believe singaporean fans behaved like that". It simply meant that i didn't believe what she said about Singaporean fans.

  • @Chunbot882 Hey, thanks for the clear up.

  • @SSJvegito5O1

I tink @hellocassidysim havent been playing team sports.

Perhaps he/she prefer watching "TIGER show" in Thai.

    .

  • @hellocassidysim

stfu you retarded piss colored crooked teeth chink bitch.

  • @hellocassidysim Hi lady, you simply do not understand who is the real bias person here. Let me educate something about football to you. Football is a physical sport. This is not touch ruby. You get hurt sometimes. When there's tackle, there's bound to be contact, sometimes it is a legitimate tackle and sometimes its a bad tackle which usually result in a foul. You seems to point the finger at Singapore boys that they have every intent to hurt the opponents. I disagree. They play passionately

  • @hellocassidysim They give everything they got, that's call commitment. If you watch Barcley's Premier League or English Football, you will know what's commitment. Have you watched Wayne Rooney play? He's not a dirty player, He's passionate. Paul Scholes, another great player who is terrible at tackle. But he is never a dirty player, everyone knows that.

  • @hellocassidysim You mentioned that the montenegro player is just pushing him and not a punch. You claim you seen everything because you are siting in the front row? Let me ask you this, presumably you sat 3 meters away from the action, can you see the action at all angles? Unless you have some bionic eyes, you cannot, you judge base on your limited view and certainly there's no replay in Live action, isn't it? The Referee was right in the thick of action and see everything.

  • @hellocassidysim The TV viewers on the other hand have instant replay and most would agree the Montenegro player has every intent to land a fist on the SG boy. Let me educate you, When a player has every intent to punch, head butt, elbow, stamp kick with the sole purpose of causing hurt at an opponent even if these actions didn't end up with a physical contact on the receiving party, it is a straight Red Card offense. Dun jump into conclusion n make potshot at SG players. Make wiser judgement pls.

  • @hellocassidysim

fuck off and continue playing with your mom's pussy with your dad's dick in your ass.

  • @crapeater1717 how constructive. it's just full of vulgarities. the LARGER shame is on you, not me. hahaha gracious singaporean. MM Lee is so right. people just aren't able to have a normal convo anymore. tsk tsk tsk.

  • @hellocassidysim then get out of Singapore! we played rough? at least we dont punch pple and get a red card. dun be jealous becos ur not better than them and u do not know anything about soccer.

  • @hellocassidysim Your comment is enough to be a disgrace to Singaporeans. We are all ashamed of you.

  • @hellocassidysim GOsh ...u obviously do not know soccer.......soooo shut the hell up....

  • @hellocassidysim Dirty? What is dirtier than punching somebody in the face? Referee is one of the worst? Without the referee, Montenegro would not even have the chance to score 2 goals.

  • @mooshimashiroom it wasn't a punch omg it was a PUSH. maybe you people should be more neutral than biased. i think sg team played dirty but some of them i admit are pretty good players. but doesn't mean when a montenegrin player is injured you cheer right. wtf happened to a "gracious" country.

  • @hellocassidysim oh. yeah i think you're blind . You should have been at home fucking your mum while i should have been there watching the game life

  • @icannotspeak maybe you people should be more neutral than biased. i think sg team played dirty but some of them i admit are pretty good players. AND doesn't mean when a montenegrin player is injured you cheer right. wtf happened to a "gracious" country. oops, looks like someone here isn't really contributing ANYTHING AT ALL.

fuck simi fuck. alot of people converted to mne during the game, you just weren't there right

  • @hellocassidysim dude i am neutral you idiot.

i think mne played really well. they could have beat sg if not for the fact that he punched our sg player. Dude, get a life man i dont see anything dirty about the sg players but i did see something dirty, one of the mne players who punched the sg player . and i do not care about people converting to mne or whatsoever. Probably they are just as a bitch like you.

  • @icannotspeak you're really not constructive at all. idiot, bitch. hmm do i look like your friend to you? i really hate it when i'm just trying to have a convo here and people just start spamming insulting words. tsk tsk tsk. you insult me for what, hahahaha should be the mne team right -.- L

he didn't punch btw, the papers exaggerated it. it was just a push. and you insulting those who supported mne, what's your problem? you mean we can't even have a choice to who's better?

  • @hellocassidysim

wait you're trying to start a conversation here by insulting the sg team and then saying you're a singaporean..

How insensitive is that considering that singaporeans are coming here. and that a lot of people from other countries are also seeing your comments.

look you dont start a damn conversation with a insult

nobody goes 'hey bitch you look ugly, just like your mum' and then be friends.

well, other than you of course.. considering that you are adopted.. and your dad is dead

  • @hellocassidysim Are you a whore to the montenegro boys?! How much are they paying you to gangbang you and made such rubbish remarks here?

  • @Rock4ever82 wtf is your problem. i have not insulted you have i? looks like you're too crazy over football my friend. maybe you people should be more neutral than biased. i think sg team played dirty but some of them, i admit, are pretty good players. but doesn't mean when a montenegrin player is injured you cheer right. wtf happened to a "gracious" country.

  • @hellocassidysim Who is the Bias one here??!! Because some Montenegro Players got injured in a tackle, you come to a conclusion that SG players are Dirty??! That's how you define dirty?!!! Look here Miss, a legitimate tackle can sometimes result in injury and that does not means SG players have intention to hurt them!!?? Football is a contact sport not a sissy game, sometimes you get hurt!! GET IT?!! You simply haven't watch enough football to understand. You know nothing about football!

  • Keep it up boys! Let nothing from anyone break this spirit of yours! We are behind you all the way for life! :)

  • i just hope these boys concentrate on soccer on not fame and style or looking good!!! Looks like they have passion and with passion comes commitment.. Well done CUBS!! Achieve what the LIONS cannot!!

  • The first and third goal remain me of Micheal Owen.

    Well done Singapore !!

  • Hopefully FAS takes good care of them... its been a freaking long time since singaporeans have something to cheer about in footballing scenes

  • As long as they remain disipline and work hard, I'm sure they will be the number 1 team is SEA. I hope none of them gave up football because of their studies. What they need to learn is to balance their time and energy is both. Good job Singapore! May this be the rekindling of the football nation we once are!

  • the boys showed the men how soccer is played...lol

    i mean the senior squad

  • these boys are very promising...please look after them....especially off the field...

  • this generation will make it to the world cup, who needs fandi ahmad's south african sons

  • watch them mature for im sure that they`ll become something

  • Haizz... the goalkeeper... Poor thing....

  • Can't wait for this batch of players to mature. Maybe this will be the squad that will do Singapore proud!

  • Good one Singapore.. Promising youngster..

  • Great game. The young Singaporeans showed that they can come from behind. Smaller then their opponents but they did not flinch in tackling and being tackled. Well done.

  • Woooh .. The cubs will grow to be a fine lion.

  • We are small, but we are fast!

  • @mooshimashiroom

The disadvantage of us is height. But we got pace. Better than those who got height. As a small player, we have to be aggressive. Many comments said that singapore played dirty but i have to disagree with that. Soccer meant to pressure every player and thats what singapore are doing. Have to give more than 100% in the field. And this young cubs are really fit!!!! thats the most advantage of all advantages!!!!

  • @extremezorro Asians often use the fact of asian ppl being physically smaller as a great disadvantage in physical sport. While I can't deny that having height n a bigger physique does have an advantage over smaller ones, but it is not an all-win situation. Scholes 1.7m, Messi 1.69m, Maradona 1.65m to name a few. Spain a current world n European champion have many players below 1.8m. Physique is just one factor, having the right attitude, passion n technical skill is something we can work on.

  • GOOD ONE SINGAPORE!!!!!!

  • Starhub is so much better than Ch5.. lol. Tks for the highlights!

  • Singapore played well, proud of them.
