Nice ultra-short intro to the LHC. Would have been better if it had explained a few of the details better: what the purpose of colliding lead ions would be; what the Higgs Boson is (imbues matter with mass); and just how scientists expect particle collisions to elucidate the nature of dark matter. True, it would then be "Large Hadron Collider In 7 Minutes" instead of 2, but I think it would be worth the extra 5 minutes. Grade: B (Nice, but a bit on the skeletal side.)
I can almost hear God laughing at all the money, time and work people spent on this. We can't recreate what God has done in creation.....

Anyone who believes a 27 km dia. atom smasher can create a black hole doesn't understand what a black hole is.
