+10000000 theblackestnight with parma or lazio crespo was a machine goal same with inter 02/03.one of the most underatred player of the 10 last years.
hahaha you are young, you only watch epl so you're ignorant. watch crespo at parma, lazio and milan. he was a beast. at his prime probably third best striker of this generation, behind the Real Ronaldo and Henry.
Crespo is one of the most expensive and talented strikers of our generation. Luis Fabiano is unproven on the biggest stage and is at an average club. Rooney is not an out and out striker. David Villa is also like Fabiano in that he needs to move to a bigger club to establish himself further as a world class striker.
@cozzee ok dude... sorry I missunderstood your comment....but you might are wrong... people sayed the same thing about tevez before he got to machester united and they where wrong
great player for us, had a very good scoring record too, should have kept him instead of signing sheva, I like sheva but he just wasnt cut out to play in chelsea's system, plus I think he was starting to burn out :(
I'm talking about league titles. He had never won a league title in an European league (the year Lazio won the scudetto he wasn't there). He won cups with various Italian clubs, but it was at Chelsea that he won his first league title. He has won it since with Internazionale though. Look it up.
you didnt mention that you talk about LEAGUE titles so... i think playing part ... a vital part in winning Uefa or Italian TIM cup or suepr cup is also A EUROPEAN title as you mentioned in your first comment... thats why i reacted like that...
I didn't say European title, I said a title in Europe by which I mean a domestic league: Premiership, La Liga, Serie A... you know.
I'm not discrediting his great achievements with his other clubs, the UEFA with Parma in 99 (his goal against Marseille was amazing) and the Italian Super Cup with Lazio etc. Fair enough they are prestigious honours
But it was well known that he wanted to win a major league title very badly and when he achieved that with Chelsea it meant an awful lot to him.

are you seriously comparing crespo to forlan? forlan was a flop at man united and figo and messi are not strikers.

mylestails 2 years ago
Yeah, I dont know why they hype strikers from Spain.
Sure Torres have been pretty good, but if Chelsea buys Aguero or David Villa people will see how physically weak they are for full contact football.
