Direi che è meglio avere un TS9 e un DS1. Uno: li puoi attivare insieme, due, questo pedale suona bene solo sotto Steve Vai.

@SuperMegaMantus no, fidati. io ce l'ho questo pedale ormai da due anni e ti assicuro che non mi ha mai deluso. è piu' potente poi del boss, il boss è moscio in confronto.

@SuperMegaMantus si hai ragione, sono gusti. comunque cambia molto il suono se lo provi con una chitarra che non sia ibanez o che non abbia gli hambuckers... se lo suoni con una ibanez e un bell'amplificatore valvolare, secondo me è micidiale.

@ReleasingWeeps Eh, io lo provai su un Mesa Express 5:50 e la mia Washburn (che EMG attivi 85 al ponte e 81 al manico), ma il suono l'ho trovato per nulla soddisfacente. Poi non so come va come booster, io l'ho provato sul canale pulito.

@SuperMegaMantus Io voto per questo + un TS Keeley. C'è da spendere 150 euro in più, però ne vale davvero la pena: innanzitutto hai l'opportunità di attivare insieme la distorsione e un TS, inoltre la distorsione del Jemini è migliore del DS-1,e in più hai altre utilissime funzioni come:

-Poter usare il TS Keeley come booster stesso del Jemini

-Usare due TS insieme, di cui uno più vellutato (Jemini)

Senza contare che puoi benissimo usare il Jemini sul canale pulito bypassando il TS Keeley.

to tell you the truth, just head to a local guitar store that has both pedals and test them both out,. The jemini distortion is much more versatile than the metal core since it can cover a wide sonic range of overdrive and distortion, the metal core might have a heavier sound to it for moer hardcore stuf, but im not sure since i havent gotten the chance to test out my jemini yet. but just test them out and decide for yourself.

Another dumb question...go try it out! Besides they are two completely different pedals for two different styles. Use the one that suits your style.
