Best sporting day of my life. Easily. An arrogant dutch side were humbled by an ordinary Irish side with the exception of perhaps Given and of course Roy Keane. None of the Dutch players were fit to even shine his boots that day. He was imperious and they showed their true colours as a bunch of sulky over hyped players. Pity we have a clown managing the National team these days though.
McAteer is so far from being a legend, it's just not true. Nice goal though, and the (as I recall, extremely arrogant) dutch deserved everything they got. Where's that tackle that Keane thumped in on Overmars?
