Not at all. More to the point, I think the Bible is full of hypocrisy, and IT does not lend itself to making much sense.
Its followers tend to coalesce accordingly, but many of them are nice people who simply are unaware of the contradictions and distortions of morality within.
If you say the Bible is immoral, that means you yourself must have a sense of morality in order to say that something else is not moral, so where do you get your morals?

Well it is a personal encounter. Since you say the bible is important, the bible clearly says that it is impossible to please God without faith. Because it is important that those who come close to him truly believe he exists and is rewarding to those who seek him. I know a man myself who was in jail in his troubled youth. And all he was handed was a New Testament. Nobody spoke to him. But he read it, and in his jail cell, got on his knees and ask Jesus to be his Lord and Saviour.
Fantasy or not, he is now a changed man. Left the gangs life for preaching the gospel. He is now married and has a child and is a missionary in South America. Tell me what power in the world can accomplish such dramatic change.

The rapture portrayed in the Left Behind books is Dispensational Premillenialism that interprets Revelation as a future history book. Most intellectual Christians are Amillenialists, so we read Revelation like a series of metaphors that are not meant to merely tell the future.

Not at all. More to the point, I think the Bible is full of hypocrisy, and IT does not lend itself to making much sense.
Its followers tend to coalesce accordingly, but many of them are nice people who simply are unaware of the contradictions and distortions of morality within.

I never said "you have no morals" I asked where you where you got your morals. I want to know how you came to a knowledge of your morals as they are now. Eg: innate to every human, revealed by a higher power, agreed upon set of morals by a culture or group of people etc.

Well, yes, most the time it is a personal encounter that leads us to Christianity, but that is not what Christianity is a about. Christianity is a way of life. It's not about a personal relationship with Jesus, It's about OUR (humans;collectively) relationship with God as is found throughout scripture and History.

Well it is a personal encounter. Since you say the bible is important, the bible clearly says that it is impossible to please God without faith. Because it is important that those who come close to him truly believe he exists and is rewarding to those who seek him. I know a man myself who was in jail in his troubled youth. And all he was handed was a New Testament. Nobody spoke to him. But he read it, and in his jail cell, got on his knees and ask Jesus to be his Lord and Saviour.

I really enjoy these episodes, I think they are funny as hell. After spending years forced into church to learn that it was all a hoax I find this refreshing. I do believe in the Creator but all that Jesus pesus stuff that was made up by the Catholic church during the Nicean Conference is really mind boggling and how many people are cattle willing to believe anything.

In case people have not noticed, Christians are hypocritical. So is everybody else. Welcome to our world, a world of hypocrites. =) It's easy to find a hypocrite. It's hard to find someone who's not.
Last of all, good music isn't about who wrote it. It's about what the music. Flawed people can write great meaningful music. There's evidence of this everywhere, in both Christian and secular music.

OK, parts of these shows are funny, but on the whole they make me cringe!! Thank God 80% of the Christian Church is now non-western! The candy coated consumer christianity this show is having a go at is turning people off the real thing by the millions.
