  • Yea that poor engine needs Kpro and badly.. I just realized thats a K20R.. I'm only pushing a K20A2 and it is making quite a lot more power on a bone stock engine.. i'm still running stock fuel pump and stock complete fuel setup oh and to correct myself.. My numbers were on a Dynapack as per the percentage difference I was mentioning. Good luck and post a vid when that thing is tuned and running at its potential.

  • Thanks!

We were never too concerned about high power numbers as the car was originally built to compete in a road course Time Trial series where higher power levels would result with the car being placed in a higher class. I believe at the time we were only shooting for the 185whp level which would have placed us at top of our class. The installation of the exhaust ended up with us overshooting that by 9hp, and we got moved one class higher

  • The car is now being built to less strict Time Attack rules, so we have more room to move in terms of power. However we're still going to stay on the conservative side to preserve reliability. So far the cars been through 2 full seasons without showing any sign of weakness, we're hoping to get at least another 2 seasons without any motor problems. We'd be very happy once we hit the 225whp mark, that combined with a weight reduction would turn some pretty quick lap times.

  • Is that 194 tuned? I sure hope not.. I made way more with my K20 untuned on a dynojet which rates 10-15% lower then the roller dyno this car is on..

  • Nope, this is stock fuel pump, stock injectors, stock ECU. All the car had was intake, header, exhaust.

Once VTEC hit, the OEM pump dropped down to 40 psi. Since then we changed the pump, but never redid the dyno run.

With the new pump and a tune, i'm sure we'd be in the 220-225 area.

  • What type of RSX[integra] did this come out of? like model and year? was it the type s?

  • 2003 Integra Type R

  • How much did it cost your friend to put in an s2000 motor into the integra?

Considering some bodywork and/or an adapter kit to put a k series transmission on the motor.

It would be a great deal if he got the s2000 motor for the s2000 because that would be a direct swap right in there.

    I could buy an B18b1 for 800 in 2008.

No expense was spared when putting this motor in, new OEM parts were used and all parts that were purchased were new.

  • It went into a s2k.

  • On all swap related things, we spent about $16,000 in total. The thing is, we did this three years ago, back when the motor alone was $7000. We also had the axles DSS Stage2 axles get lost by FedEx, which set us back another $1200.

  • You paid way to much, my friend bought a s2000 motor for 3000 in 2004.

  • We're located in Canada, and sadly everything costs more here.

  • how much u spent on the engine and swap in total...dats wat im trying to do

  • If we had to do it all over again, with the prices all lower now, it would only cost about $13,000
