I am amazed that you were only granted some 24 or 48 hours to have the body examined, being that it was to be immediately reburied.

In the description, you mention the county took control of the test. You should have hired a 3rd party lab to do the test for you. Do the results the county gave you confirm or deny the poisoning?

This is like my family's situation. My sister unexpectedly died under suspicious circumstances. She was alone that night with the "boyfriend" whom she met and moved in. The man had befriended our elderly father and took control of my father's life. The man took charge of the funeral plans, threatened family to stay away from my father's home, had us physically assaulted to keep us away from the funeral, and got the body buried without an autopsy or examination. Authorities will not investigate.

its concrete (some are made of steel) they are used to stop the casket from getting crushed in when machinery (diggers etc) drive over the grave and also to stop the ground from sinking when the casket eventually does cave in from rust (metal) or rot(wood)

Well it turns out..I found my answers 3 weeks ago on mistake it all fell into my lap.

She was on a antidepressant drug .. and STOPPED TAKING IT. the withdrawl adverse affects is what made her take her own life.

I am furious to know the drug companies used her for a lab rat and I will seek justice for her and my family!! this was also 1981

not yet, Berrien County officials have hidden the toxocology reports and did not include them in the autopsy report. They showed my father was indeed poisoned but they did not want to be wrong or held responsible so they hid the truth...look up "sonlitelady" and you will find more news reports on this subject.
