  • rock in the 80s ruled

  • i love this scene true reality

  • I'm sorry you were born in the 70's, I guess you listen to music from that pussy cobain, that explains how fucking stupid you are. Listen up fuckwad, no mid life crisis here, I've got chunks of little dickheads like you in my stool. " Look me up"....what a joke! By the way "boomers" were born in the 50's, you stupid brain dead puss nut faggot!.

  • Roarke isn't even a poor man's deniro....he's the homeless version. This guy always has that smirk, like willis, you just wanna slap the taste out of his mouth.Oh,and 80's rock really fuckin sucked!

  • @TheGatorfan93

You're a total fucking douche bag. I'd love to beat the few remaining teeth out of your big mouth. Rourke's performance in this film was epic, similar to Brando's comeback in The Godfather. Go back to watching Adam Sandler movies and shut the fuck up. Oh, and your father shot his tiny load to an 80's rock song creating your pathetic existence, considering what was created I understand why you resent it.

  • @theunknowndrunk1 LOLya come look me up you boomer scum,i'll knock you're cunt in the dirt.Just like i would this botoxed, pimple dick mick.I was born in the seventies idiot, and rock fuckin sucked in the 80's!Ha...no matter what you're wretched mid life crisis is telling you.

  • @TheGatorfan93 Pretty sad that someone born in the 70s spends their time trolling Youtube videos with horrific grammar. No wonder everyone hates the University of Florida... that fanbase is filled with shitheads!

  • @EdwardRMeow20 Im not ''trolling'' anything johnny come lately.Who the fuck are you?Was i talking to you?I gave my opinion of a shit actor,BIG DEAL.

  • @theunknowndrunk1

    hahaha wonderful :-)

  • this makes me wanna go over to elizabeth im like 5 minutes from where this takes place its always so busy this part of the city.i wasnt there when they filmed this though kinda wish i were oh well

  • i would love 4 either mattel &/or jakks pacific or whoever 2 have made 1 of those "randy the ram" figures as part of a "legends" collector series...to commemorate the film or something...idk...it wouldve been cool 2 see it/have 1...

  • fuck it i'm watching this movie again

  • Hard times Chaeles b

  • He'e a male lion/

  • Marisa looks so cute in that outfit...What a great f'ing movie this is.

  • Man this guy looks like shit, my Mom cries everytime she sees this flick ONLY because the guy looks like hell compared to the 80's.

  • It's hard to decide who was the best actor of 2008: Mickey Rourke or Heath Ledger. Two performances that will go down as the best of all time

  • THIS MOVIE IS THE BEST FUCKING EVERRRRR! mickey rourke is one cool mother fucker man... rock n roll

  • lol this movie is so much like rocky balboa.

  • awesome movie!

  • marisa tomei looks so freakin hot!

btw, who cares about the oscars, everyone knows they are fake...

  • xxxxxxcept cobain's victory over 80s crap was awesome

    lol

love this movie just saying corporate sellout guns n roses shit, can't touch alice in chains, nine inch nails, OR even nirvana. lots to be pissed off about might as well be real about it.

  • Hey could you post the actual bar scene? It's so hilarious how they rock to Ratt's "Round and Round" and trash Cobain and the 90's. Priceless. . .

  • mickey rourkes performance in this film is superb, at times watching it was like a "fly on the wall" film...very real

  • このシーンを見るだけで涙が出て来る。 素晴らしい映画だった。

  • ね~

  • wow how cool i actually go to where they film this part alot i wish i was there when they tape this but the streets are really busier than it appears there is a bridge not far from that place towards the left i didnt see the movie or what part of linden they taped my town but i love elizabeth i wanna see the movie cuz so much is near me in the film had to comment elizabeth ave is so cool as is broad street

  • I wish someone had the scene where he was working in that store and he just flips out and curses everyone out... that scene is FUNNY AS HELL!

  • If you want to see an opposite role but equally impressive actor, see Daniel Day-Lewis in "There Will Be Blood." That is an excellent movie too, and Day-Lewis is beyond good.

  • Yeah, Rourke in this and DDL in that are tied for the greatest performances ever by an actor IMO. I feel bad for Rourke that he didnt win the Oscar and not EVERYONE is gaga over his performance because he put a tremendous amount of effort into it. It just wasn't obvious to some people because he was just TOO genuine! They forgot they were watching an actor and just saw The Ram, but that's exactly why he was so great! Even in his most subtle scenes he is astonishing

  • No offence to anyone who doesn't think Mickey is a genius in this film, but I don't think you know what acting really entails. Te only reason I can think why anyone wouldn't like Mickey in this is because he's TOO realistic and genuine, and you forgot it was an acting PERFORMANCE. That proves he was excellent!

  • lol elizebeth new jersey on elizebeth ave google it

  • I'm so poor i watch randome clips of this movie on youtube...I put it all in order in my head & i've almost seen the entire film on youtube clips. That girl looks like his kid lol he's trying to bang her?

  • do you have the clip where the two of them are singing in the bar to the scorpions? could you post it? thanks if you can. L

  • I love that scene too, but it's Ratt. Actually it's some sort of Ratt tribute band.

  • It's Ratt's "Round and Round" and man, it is hilarious!

  • RAM:Tell him not to loose it, its a 300$ collectors item..

    Tomei: Really?

    Ram: Naw

    LMAO!!

Something bright came out of a dark movie.

    Great balance

  • I love this scene. My best friend is always hestitant when hanging out. So i always use Mickey's line "have a beer with me. just one beer."

  • those clips of yours are so funny

  • Excellent, Excellent Flick! Realistic well acted gritty drama, definitely overlooked by the powers that be in Hollywood.

  • no hes a wrestler and he has a drug addection

  • Micky has been my favorite male actor since "Bullet" I know its not criticaly acclaimed or anything, but that character is me! Anyways i got to hang out with Micky in houston at the Marriott the night before wrestlemainia for a bit. The guy is a class act! he stopped his conversation with some other people to talk to me.I can not tell ya what a down to earth guy this is! Even though he tends to talk in "riddles" now and then. Kinda cool! I'm not a "start struck" guy, he was the ONLY pic taken

  • beato te

  • his performance was hella underrated in bullet...gald u brought that up n see he did a good job in it

  • Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei are definetly the people I wanna have a beer with, after this scene they we're in a bar and Ratt's Round & Round play and Mickey started singing and dancing and Marisa joined in, those are my kind of people.

  • @kingsnake23 soo true :-) love it

  • @kingsnake23 which time was it? i heard it once but it is the middle or at the end or what?

  • you suck, nobody cares about you and what you find funny.

  • Who cares about the Oscars, don't need that to tell me that Mickey's was the best performance of the year!

  • @thundersky6 Unfortunately, majority of American citizens (if I'm correct that Oscars are more an American thing) feel that the "best" need some kind of golden crown to prove their status. I agree wholeheartedly that Oscars in general are trash. I think they're great as gaining exposure for great acts and films, though.

  • Crashing Marisa: infinitely more cute now then 10/15 years ago!

  • typical women ^^ when he says its a 300 dollar collectors item , she like reallllyy ( big eyes ) ^^

no offence i love women ^^

  • Mickey Rourke was screwed, that Oscar should be his.

  • i dont see why people have to disrespect peoples lifestyle, actors, or each other on here...just be happy rourke got the applause he got for his performance and wat hes done and that he has his mind right. be grateful..like kids sometimes in here

  • would you have boy o girl?

  • hey, I don't care if they didn't won the academy award. Oscars are nothing to me.

This movie is a great story and this two actors are great, so they don't need a stupid award to be succesful.

  • I havnt seen this yet, as I am in Japan. However it was clear months and months and months ago that Roarke wouldnt get an Oscar. Hes an amazing actor and this film gave him a chance again to show everyone AGAIN....but he wont ever get an Oscar. He has spent too much time outside the box, Hollywood hates him.

  • لماذا تحميل كل المقاطع يتم ببطء

  • I can't believe these two lost, especially Rourke. It's sad that Rourke's most heartfelt performance lost to a cause.

  • I don't know why, but it reminds me of Brett Hart

  • lol maybe the long hair and tanned skin? I find the story itself would more resemble ric flair,, except the whole crash at the end. but it must take a toll.

  • this seems like a cool movie havent seen it tho

  • yeah...fuck the oscars, rourke should of won hands down

  • Nothing against Sean Penn - I love his acting - but Roarke was channeling another whole level. He was wearing his soul on his skin.

  • I think Mickey gave just as good of a performance when he starred in the movie "Spun". If you haven't seen that movie yet, it's a must!

  • I found Mickey gave a good performance but the film on the other hand was a liitle slow and boring. thats just my opinion.

  • agreed

  • This movie is the best movie since Goodfellas....Mickey got robbed...he should of won...hands down.

  • I've been seeing similar comments on all the related pages..whats with the Goodfellas comparison I'm so confused.

  • have you heard of gradegenie . com

  • no but i heard of your mum =D

  • Szykować się bo Agnieszka zaraz przyjedzie!!!

  • The guy wins the Golden Globe for The Wrestler and loses the Oscar to Sean Penn? Man, Hollywood is so snobbish

  • its cause all they gays live out in california.

they had to give it for the gays cuz they didnt win it in brokeback mountain.

  • yea, that was clearly a reach out to the gay community. Sean Penn was impressive i'm sure, even though i haven't seen the movie, but this guy should have one.

  • I'm not inserting my opinion either way, but should he have "one" or should he have "won"? Just a question.

  • I have not seen "Milk" but I know Sean Penn is usually not involved in crap. He produced "The Pledge' which was a great movie that had a cameo by Roarke. Still, Mickey was posessed in this movie. Real, real raw emotions.

  • Penn was amazing in Milk, but to be honest I am just pleased he won after having the oscar for his performance in Dead Man Walking stolen from him by a pretty 'typical' Nick Cage performance in leaving Las Vegas.

  • Nicholas Cage has an oscar? what is this world coming to

  • lol exactly!

  • nick cage SHOULD have won for Ghost Rider

  • your kidding, right?

  • I actually think Sean Penn won because they didn't want to give Mickey the Oscar as it may have been percieved as a "pity" award. Also, there was no single star from slumdog that deserved it so where else could they throw it away?

  • well if that's the case, they should have just given it to Brad Pitt. But i still think that Sean Penn was given it as a gesture to the gay community.

  • Sean Penn already has an Oscar, and the gay community already had films like Philadelphia as any kind of "gesture". Penn won the Oscar because HE'S THAT GOOD!

He became Harvey Milk. He took a risk as it was a departure for him as a "straight" actor to play a gay man, and it was the best homage to the real man for taking the role and making him alive again for the screen. That's why he won.

  • Mickey rourke got robbed....The Wrestler was clearly th best movie...hands down...sorry mickey....you won bro....we still love you bro...

  • sorry, but i don't like Marisa Tomei at all.

When they interview her she always sound like a 12 years old bubble head.

She even won an oscar like 15 years ego for a movie that wasn't that great in my opinion.

  • That Oscar that she won (My Cousin Vinnie) is questionable. There was a big to-do about that decision. She got a lot of flak for even being nominated. I think she is a below average actress.

  • thank god faggots like you dont decide who wins then.

  • gee the steroids have really worked for mickey

  • As soon as this movie is in stores I am gonna buy it.

I saw it 2 weeks ago it is so good.

  • Id have a beer with you Mickey ;)

    love ya

  • Chris Jericho, if you are really on youtube posting remarks about how you don't like an actor, you're a hypocrite with what you just said, because you suck.

  • Its still real to you damn it?

  • Get a fuckin life, you bitch!

  • Hey guys, I need some help. My friend gave me a copy of his bootleg of the wrestler [he copied the bootleg onto an empty dvd] and I get sound but no video. This is when I play it on my ps2 mind you. My dvd player isn't plugged in and I don't want to accidentally break anything going back there to plug it in. Help?

  • help? yeah okay throw away the bootleg, buy a ticket and actually watch it in theaters

  • Thanks for the help man. Anyway I saw the movie and it was fantastic.

  • the format isnt for dvd players. watch it on your computer.

  • I have avi movies that play just fine on my divx compatible dvd player.

  • well since u mentioned its divx compatible... i have no idea what other formats exist that arent common in dvd players... ask ur friend to send it again.

(i dont know if ur the original person with the dvd problem)

  • I love the scene in the bar as well!!!

  • Long hair? On a guy? There is literally no other explanation, he MUST be gay. ¬-¬

  • ok i know your being sarcastic but his hair is literally disgusting

  • It is long, blonde hair. If this creates a psychological barrier between you and this amazing film then, yeah suppose so its "so gay."

  • Marisa Tomei is the TRUTH!!!! I'd scoop Cheetos out of her ass with my tongue!!!

  • that is really kinda gross

  • Gross but very very true!!!!

  • what about M and Ms??

  • That is such a good movie. Very realistic as well. No cheesy happy endings. I recommend seeing it!

  • This looks like a very powerful flick, I'm going to go see it soon.

  • When I said those are my kind of people I mean Mickey Rourke, Marisa Tomei, and everybody who loves 80's hard rock.

  • The scene where they have a beer, and Mickey dances in front of Marisa when the song Round & Round played, I like that scene and those are my kind of people.

  • I cant believe marisa is 50 years old she still looks cute

  • You obviously haven't seen the entire movie. Marisa isn't cute, she is sexy as hell.

  • She's 45, and I agree with caucexican, that lady is SEXY.

  • This movie looks incredibly heartfelt. And here I was hoping I would never have to give money to Fox again.

    ~ Chris @ Ergo

  • One beer leads to another then you die.

  • worth it if you bang Marissa Tomei in the process

  • Just like women
