How To Start A 2 Stroke- prime untill you can feel gas going through primer bulb, turn choke on full, squeez throttle to full, pull, when going turn choke off. there thats how easy it is.

Actually High octane is better, it burn cooler which keeps the engine cooler, which aslo prolongs engine life.

i think putting oil added gasoline into a 4 cycle lawnmower would just make the engine smoke

i agree a tiny bit does no harm the worst ive seen 2 cycle oil in a 4 stroke do was smoke and foul the plug....maybe the oil slightly increases compression but typically i actually like to put a cap full of 2 stroke oil in a gallon of gas for my 4 stroke machines

but you'd be surprised how many suburban homeowners make those kind of mistakes. Straight gas in a 2-stroke, and the engine will seize...or put 2-cyle mix in a 4-stroke mower (with a crank case) and you'll foul the spark plug

You should only use 2 cycle mix that is rated FD and only use premium gas that is fresh. Gas now stales in less than 2 months. Only use the trimmer to do light work as that one was made to do. If you show it some tough weeds it will die
