With 50% of the uninoculated population expected to catch H1N1 by spring and the current mortality rate of 4% that means without the shot you have 220 in 11,000 chance of dying from H1N1 as compared to the 1 in 11,000 chance of getting GBS syndrome. Which odds do you prefer? You could rely on the fact that if everyone else gets the shot your chances of catching H1N1 are much less, and you would be right - of course that is a rather selfish thing to do. I'll be getting the shot.

I will not be getting the shot because in the past when I've been given the flu shot I end up getting sick. I am not not getting the shot because I believe others will and that will keep me safe, I'm just not afraid of getting the flu and not afraid of dieing when my time comes.

And a huge problem with neurological disorders that could be caused by medications like this is that for the most part they don't show up right away but show up later in life and therefor cannot and aren't linked directly to the cause. This is also a problem with the GMO foods that are filling our grocery shelves. These foods don't cause problems right away and the effect is a later in life problem that isn't easily linked to the cause and so the truth goes unknown.

Your statistics dont include all the people dying of swine flu who get the vaccination, which if you do some research, you will find in many cases more people who get a vaccination die of the disease than those who don't get the vaccination. All vaccinations are a scam and you have been brainwashed!

I never missed an episode. In 1977 Mike did a story on a corn-oil powered VW Rabbit Diesel. Then in '05 this became "news" again. Sheeple watch American Idol and don't educate themselves. I'd guess this is 1979, by Mike's hair and clothes.

I would never get a shot, but I think this whole mandatory vaccination is a lie. Soldiers that served during Vietnam took vaccines to counter Agent Orange and ended up with horrible side effects. I'm not sure if Polio or Measles was mandatory, but I would never submit to taking a shot unless the disease were prevalent, and I'd have to actually know people and wouldn't listen to heresay.

My father's sister had Polio, and my father was in Vietnam for a few years, I'll have to call them and ask them about that. My father was sprayed with Agent Orange, that is another reason why I am against Monsanto. My father is now 62 yrs old, and 10 yrs ago the doctors said he had the lungs of a 90 yr old.He only has a little more time left.I'll have to call him and ask him if he took a vaccine to counter the Agent orange.Tx for you input :)
