i've loved this song forever. the wrens are incredibly underrated. must admit i don't like the first bit, they should cut that. this is still one of my favourite songs ever. i'd seen this video before and thankfully just found it again. it compliments the song amazingly well. solitude and alcohol. ;)

The skronky beginning actually sold me on the song the first time I heard it. It's a fantastic song from the start; the beginning hints at the slight discord that plays through the entire song.

I guess everyone thinks I was trying to dis the band by saying they reused the music to make another song. That was not my intention. I just thought it was interesting. I also think it is interesting they changed the lyrics to the song "This Boy is Exhausted." I like the original version of that song better.

Oh wow. This may well be my favorite song by The Wrens and the video is lovely as well... very wistful and gritty and just spot-on, IMO. Excellent work!
