I don't think I'll ever complain about it snowing again, although I'll still be afraid to drive in it sometimes. I'm in Upstate New York USA and we get snow usually from mid October to early March. I don't like it when it's 4 degree's out and I have to scrape an inch of ice off my windshield, but the snow...that's always beautiful. Nothing more beautiful than waking up to see a fresh snow, the earth covered in a white blanket and all is quiet and peaceful.

Hey kiwi. I live in Iowa and we had to evacuate a good portion of my family because of the floods. Most of us live very close to the river, and a lot of my family completely lost their houses (whether they got washed away, or they're just so bad they're not livable). After it snowed almost every day in the winter, it took its toll. I never really thought about global warming, but there's definitely something not right going on (yeah, it snowed, so its not really warming but...yup).

Mother Nature is a rambunctious old bitch,she will do whatever she feels like as she has done for the past billions of years. I don't remember how long it was, but it was over a week and a half of it being very high 30/40 degrees, when it should have been getting down to low 30's and 20s.

Snow is a huge factor in groundwater recharge. The groundwater keeps the rivers and streams going in dry weather.
LA is its own environmental disaster. If the places where Mulholland stole water from go dry, you go thirsty. If the ice caps melt, you drown. You use irrigation in semidesert, salt builds up in the soil til nothing grows.

Aww very true. We got alot of rain last year because of Global Warming here in the UK. And there houses got flooded and destroied. Some family's arnt even back in there houses because of it.

This video upset me.
Not because it was a bad video or anything, but it's so true and so devastating.
Here in Australia, where i live in Adelaide, we broke the record of the longest heat wave Australia has ever seen.
I don't remember how long it was, but it was over a week and a half of it being very high 30/40 degrees, when it should have been getting down to low 30's and 20s.
I'm thinking i'll be lucky if i ever see snow, not here-it will never happen, but wherever i go.

I missed a train to watch the whole video. Thanks for sharing it. Down here we KNOW about global warming and we don't even pollute as much as the people up there. It sucks. I agree with the whole message of this vid. Lets simply appreciate and enjoy nature.

Just a thought but in the 70s and 80s I beleive there was a big scare over, "Global cooling" Now people have just forgotten about it since it was over 20 years ago and they have started talking about "Global warming" I just wonder what is true or if the weather is going to do what it does best, which is change :) I do agree though. We should take care of our enviornment, wish the recycled here :(

The snow you have from nov to feb is just like how it is in northern United states too like where I'm from. I've grown up used to snow so much that I couldnt imagine living somewhere without it.

No not every northern state is exactly right next to canada. Im directly next to canada in the state im in. It shares borders but you have states like rhode island and new jersey that arent really near canada but theyre northern states. If you look at a united states map maybe it will make it more clear.

That's how the winter is in Michigan here in the US. And I really do like the snow because we can sled, ski, skate, fun stuff like that. :D And you dog is adorable!! My golden retriever acts just like that!

Snow is a huge factor in groundwater recharge. The groundwater keeps the rivers and streams going in dry weather.
LA is its own environmental disaster. If the places where Mulholland stole water from go dry, you go thirsty. If the ice caps melt, you drown. You use irrigation in semidesert, salt builds up in the soil til nothing grows.

I think it's great you care for nature. Winter is a beautiful season, especially during the particularly few days where the snow starts melting and everything looks like crystals.
