it is a very beautiful pakistani movie the only problem is that i donot think that hindu womens were wearing saris ever in villages at that time.All other things are very beautiful

The family, community and village life shown in this movie represents the best of subcontinental civilization. Those with sectarian loyalties tore apart communities that often lived with mutual affection and support. It's wonderful to see Hindu ,Muslim and Sikh elders calling all children sons and daughters, the younger folks calling each other sisters and brothers ,and their elders uncles and aunts. This was Sufi philosophy in action, not merely in words. Wonderful film.
