He's soooo sweet! i just want to... be his best friend.
(and rape him... DX *giggle*)
AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH!! Swedish subtitles!! Man, we had those the WHOLE time watching Deep Space 9, now the show never seems right without the occasional 'kanske' from Sisko... *heehee*
You know, in a way you have to pity the Vorta and the Jem'Hadar. They are nothing more than puppets of the founders and the worst thing is because of their programing, they are cool with it.
Totally. That's why this scene is interesting I think. Little moments like this and when that Jem'Hadar soldier didn't kill Worf because he respected his honor. I like seeing people breaking out of their programming.
or maybe, you should admire them. they serve their gods in the perfect way because they have been created as perfect servants specifically for their posts.
there is nothing left to desire - they live in unison with their creators and fulfill the purpose in life , they've been created for.
they miss nothing, they are absolutely content.
that's paradise, isn't it?
would you choose against paradise if it was offered?
though i doubt he's beginning to doubt the founders.
he realizes, he's telling kira something personal and that the thought of being able to carry a tune is distracting him from his duty.
which is - in alllikelyhood - the reason, why vorta lack a sense for asthetics. you don't need it to serve the founders. it would just distract you from your work.
so weyoun is all "back to business" and not doubting anything.
I´m a big Weyoun fan, and this is one of my favourite scenes. It´s really nice and quite touching. I love how his facial expression changes when he realizes that he´s actually beginning to doubt the Founders. I also love the moment before Kira comes in, when Weyoun is studying Ziyal´s painting.
Weyoun may only be a harmless looking little Vorta, but he is smart and cunning and surely one of DS9´s most fascinating characters. Great role, great actor! Well done, Jeffrey Combs.
@TheVulcanKid I thought so too. I made sure to record every episode with Weyoun in it. As evil as he is you couldnt help but love him. And yes, he is the sexiest Vorta. lol
I loved how no matter how much others were mad at him in a conversation Weyoun would just smile and talk with a calm voice as if he was talking to friends instead of people who hated him LOL.He would have made a great used car salesmen LOL

Jeffrey Combs does a really good job playing him. (And on an entirely seperate note, Weyoun is one sexy Vorta);)
