I am using a Fuji Nevada 1.0 with Shimano disc brakes and so far it has been going smooth lately no problems with it so far And it cost about $ 600 but its worth it
@chuckaholicpunk haha! yeah, but on the bright side, its amazing what a spray can of paint can do when used right! im gonna repaint my mountain, road, and hybrid bike.

I have a giant anthem x1 frame with slx cranks and shifters, xt front derailleur, xtr rear derailleur, bb7 disc brakes, fox 23rp rear shock, fox f100 fork, monkeylite bars, raceface duex xc seatpost, mavic 717 rims laced to wtb laser disc lite hubs, Tioga spider saddle, eleven81 stem, and wtb wolverine 2.2 tires. My rig is set up as a 2x9 gearing. I built it up myself.
@ynewbee there are really 2 brands of mongoose bikes the wal-mart brand and the independently owned cycling shop brand the independently owned cycling shop brand is a great value for money and includes a lifetime frame warranty and include higher end specs than usual for price and I would definitely recommend one to you but like all things from wal-mart those and all bikes are straight crap
Offroad fist thing, upgraded forks to marranucci bombers! Upgraded seat and post to kore! Getting ready to upgrade rims and tires! Is Jamis a good mountain bike?

hey recently i got a raleigh mad max i meen raleigh i know is good for bikes and all but i dunno for mountain bikes. it shows on google i got disk brake on my front wheel and a v brake on my year i got fork suspension and seat suspension could anyone tell me if it's good and what its good for coz i may go to porc soon chherz :D
So many good brands to choose from,Trek's my favorite. Any idea of how things are going in South America? I googled caloi bicycles and was pleasantly surprised!!
Its not stupid to buy a mountain bike and never go off road! If you buy a mountain bike then you can ride ANYWHERE if you need to, dirt, pavement sand, puddles, on and off curbs. A mountain bike is the best bike to have! I don't know if I have a mountain bike but I have all terrain tires!
@SkylarJackson i got a feeling that u really dont know what youre talking about... it is really stupid to buy a mountain bike that is made for off road and only use it for school or to work... maybe if u buy a walmart mountain bike thats ok but not when it comes to really mountain bikes
I have an old trek 820 that i beat the crap out of; its 9 years old or something and I was wondering if a Specialized Hardrock is a good replacement. Also, I would like to know a good place to buy used bikes.
Hey, my mountain bike is tough; it can take bumps and potholes; it has a comfortable riding position; It has low gears and can climb any hill easily; it's great in the city; and it is not exactly slow, either. I would be retarded NOT to choose a mountain bike.
Yes, kukumberknyk, and today's mountain bikes aren't exactly slow, either. They are not like the old fashioned three-speed touring bikes. Up to about 20mph, I would estimate, they are about as fast as a 10-speed. That is good for most riding and getting around. Hey, if I ever need to go over 20mph or so, I'll drive! And, as I said, they climb any hill easily. THEY ROCK! Have fun with your MTBike, my friend.

@SkylarJackson if your bike has gears and at least front shocks [suspension] it is a mountain bike
WarhammerBloke 9 months ago
@WarhammerBloke Um....incorrect. A single speed, rigid 29er is as much of a mountain bike as a 7 incher FR bike.

@SkylarJackson You shouldn't even be giving out any information if your not even educated enough to figure out if you own a mountain bike or not.
