@Kongasp ok, try going into the config manager for PMDG on your menu bar at the top of FS, if not try a re-install.

I'm thinking about t=getting this aircraft. But i've heard it's a fps killer. I have an i7 at 4GHz processor will that be okay to run the 747 as well as in this video?

@sgtmact errr i really dont think you will have any problems at al with that proccesor 4ghz on a Quad core i7 is much better than what im running so YES

@sgtmact yes it will run very smooth becuz i have a amd 2.9 ghz dual core and it runs very good so on a 8 thread 4 core cpu with hyper threading capabilities one cud only imagine the kind of smoothness u will get hope this help :)

@IOWNA11 birmingham is my home airport, Yes i landed late in that video the PMDG 747-400 is a very well made aircraft and it handles realistic, and i did land a little bit to far down the runway and as this replay was from a Flight from dubai there wasnt much i could to to adjust this video really, at least all the passengers were ok, Plus there was heavy winds on approach so it made my landing a bit more difficult

I'm not totally sure if this payware aircraft has the regular wing views, but if it does, simply press Ctrl along with Backspace to move the camera forward, which will allow you to see the engines on the wing view :-)

not really...birminghams runway can handle 747,s its not the longest of runways but it can handle them...birmingham had an emirates airbus A380 land there a few months back.
