what do I need to watch tv without DirecTV or Dish Network subscription? I would like to purchase a portable satellite dish and I don't want to pay monthly payments, but do I need anything else in order to get tv channels through a portable satellite dish that I consider putting into my balcony?
And kids, if you get a portable dish make sure you use RG-6 coax to run from the LNBF to receiver and have a compass or clino meter, and a good satellite finder like sat buddy or channel master or you will be pointing your dish all day long.
A portable dish is really the best way to go! Due to being able to find that visible spot threw the trees. I have the same one you have and really like It's flat round base it sits on. It allows you to place it on the ground, or table, or even on top of the RV If that happens to be the perfect spot. The one thing you missed is: Also attaching a signal meter to it for ease of finding the satellite. Good video on RVing tips! We're always learning.
Wtf do people camp in a motorhome its not the same

Nice set up, but judging by the type of Motorhome you have, i'd be too busy with the strippers in the bar for TV
