    Doctor, I also had sacral fracture Zone 3 Transverse, plus L4 – L5 – S1 issues (landing accident) more then 6 years ago. Recovered without surgery, but light numbness in right foot still exists. And some light to moderate issues with sexual function. Can it be corrected?

  • @extreme5401 may have compression of the sacral nerve roots

    get an exam and may need MRI

  • I had a sacral fracture approx. 7 years ago.. I think mine is most like Zone 3, Transverse. NOT fun. Good information on here. :) Might travel down to Toledo to pay you a visit!

  • Dear doctor mri scans are mostly taken from lateral or axial view.

    When imagening the Sacrum is it also possible to make a mri scan from the AP or PA view when examening the dorsal sacrum formamina?

  • The sacral and pelvic fractures, both look like very serious fractures. It is good that we have good ortho surgeons, alot more info and technology available to help these patients.
