@lesmeslover95 His right arm is infected with demonpower, which is getting revealed in certain moments-so his arm is very strong. And the animals are so big, because the film shows a time when animals where gods. man just watch it  : )

@lesmeslover95 Oh f*ck! Haven't you seen that movie or are you cpmletely stupid?? He was cursed by a demon that he had faught with and he got a scar from the fight, which just represents the growing curse. This terrible happening also contains him capable of unnatural things, things belonging to a demon... Really, it is SO obvious in that scene and it is the main storyline of the plot. ;) Sorry for me being unpolite in the beginning but I can simply get angry because of this movie ;)

Interesting story behind this trailer : It's an International Sales promo, intended to sell the film to distributors and festivals outside of Japan back in 1997; hence the different font for the title, as well as the long running time and the gravelly-voiced announcer describing all of the events of the film.

Bad trailer to an awesome movie, i loved this movie since i saw it in it's 1999 theatrical release in november when i was 17 and been an anime fan since i was 12 watching Vampire Hunter D and Robot Carnival on TBS and Totoro on video, i even saw some old anime in the 80's including the original US cut of Nausicaa called Warriors of the Wind. ANyone thinks this movie is like Avatar?

I'm thinking its Spirited Away, but all of Miyazaki's movies are awesome. I've seen Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Nausica of the Valley of the Wind, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, and some of Kiki's Delivery Service. All great.
