  • Why is his tie like that?

  • @DJBassEnergy I remember seeing a comic strip way back of Dilbert, and i believe his tie is like that because he hasn't encountered any sexual activities. in the comic strip, he finally got laid and the tie was flat down.

  • i love bob Ross references in tv shows.

  • engineerz lyf3

  • 0:09 sounds like spongebob trust me i kno it when he says "ready" (im ready! im ready!)

  • @Ryslife98 yup. you're right. Tom Kenny, the voice of Spongebob, did the voices of Asok and Ratbert in this series as well.

  • That guy's Jack Black.

    OCTOGON

  • 1:42 I want that pic. :)

  • Dilbert kicks ass! Is brilliant like true art (which is creating the illusion of realism on a page). Not that abstract bullshit.

  • Dilbert was so underappreciated by UPN that it honestly hurts

  • the guy playing rusty also played Fix-It in Teen Titans, i think it was episode 13

  • @indidesidude well there's not a big difference really, being an engineer is in a sense, being an artist. you have to create and innovate things, alot of the time the things created are made from designs and blue prints, that only an artist can make. Were like God or any other personification of creation you choose xD we can create things but there are major limitations, thats what makes humans...interesting

  • do you have to be a math wizard to be an engineer?

  • @kermitcintronsucks nope, but it would help.

  • @sharpwingx6

Technically engineers don't have to draw anything nowadays; they can just design their product with CAD on a computer.

  • @sharpwingx6 Well we don't really create so much so in that sense, because we don't make something out of nothing, but we're pretty darn good at moulding things that exist in to new and useful things. Just like in art you can't come up with colours outside of the visible colour range, but you can arrange those colours in fascinating ways.

  • How could anyone be angry at Bob Ross?

  • According to Donald Knuth, software is art. :)

  • Tope is my favorite color!

  • Honestly, the Dilbert Cartoon was better than the strip.

Too bad it got cancelled :(

  • @indidesidude do you really think that people that use software can make art? thats crazy talk, art is art, it cant be made by a computer, as a matter of fact i hate those who put videos of them making some very good drawing but on a computer, everybody is fucking capable with practice; with art its different, its like youre the chosen one, not everybody is an artst :l and not everybody can be. Good point though :)

  • @MegaPanzers1 ...dude, I dont particulalrly like digital art, but its a medium like any other. I prefer to use traditional mediums when I draw, but I've seen people make some amazing stuff with digital art. Condemning a medium because you personally dont like it makes you sound like a fucking snob.

  • @Piledriver86 im just a traditionalist, i prefer old style art; and I'm not condemning it, im just giving my opnion; bysides, a snob is somebody who totally rejects something without even trying it, i tried it; and i personally dont like it

  • Ratbert: Circle!

    Dogbert: Triangle!

    Dilbert: LINE!

  • An engineers thought process is pretty spergy.

  • @indidesidude No wonder photoshop and illistrator don't work as well as the traditional pencil and paper.

...making a joke, engineers amuse me. :P

  • Art: is a beautiful thing that the heart of the artist is portrayed in. The heart is the key part. Without it, the art is lifeless.

  • @mpridgeon6060 I agree the irony here is that this is a animation which is done by several artists.

  • my nuke friends and i watch this video whenever nuke is kicking our asses...it makes us feel so much better

  • Art is nothing more than something somebody likes for no reason, except that somebody else hates it.

  • it is what they ment

  • 0:47

    YOU'RE TEARING ME APPART RUSTY!

  • Suffering for your art is when artists would become more creative or emotional when he/she is at an extreme low. People might buy art because its images hold an emotional, memory or pleasurable connection; less than the accuracy of the painting. OR the feeling of owning a valuable item. Dilbert thinks art is a scam because he doesn't know the reasons why people buy art other than his own beliefs and values. "a small clip that displays the meaning of art in terms of an engineer's thought process"

  • How did Dilbert know that? I also think that art is for money.

  • I find this to be what I thought as well. Though art a scam, no. I do now though lol

  • I agree with Dilbert and Dogbert about art.. At last, they also thought what is in my mind then about art.
