I like it, however it does sound a little too muddy for my liking. If some of the sounds had an echo on them, it might have sounded a little bit fuller in contrast as it sounds slightly empty due to the muddy distortion used, some of the sounds aren't very easy to make out.

Either one would be great to hear. I actually have been collecting FFVIII music - official versions, unreleased, officially arranged/remixed, remix albums and stand-alone remixes.

Personally, I'd love to hear a remix of The Landing (Attack on Dollet as some call it) or Never Look Back. There's so much in the FFVIII soundtrack however people ALWAYS go with a particular few. An interesting one to do in the same style would be The Castle/Final area theme.

It truly is, oh and if you ever feel like remixing Compression of Time - I implore you to listen to Freya's Theme from FFIX, it's an orchestral arrangement of the song.

Additionally, an interesting promo-only mix that was made was of The Landing combined with Movin', it was an orchestral one but would make an interesting remix.
