I realy hate when supertruckers record someone backing up and start talking shit about how they backed up,I geuss thats an example of a miserable truck driver wouldnt you say ?
Wow - that's a skill I wish I had. I do pretty good for a four wheeler parallel parking, but you guys with 18 wheels and a trailer that have to aim that thing into a blind slot got my respect.
@nicci833 Thank you for that excellent point... I forgot to block this sock account! And, since you have no clue on proper punctuation and grammar, it's VERY hard to understand you...
Try straightline backing on a moonless night in Iraq...or running the serpentine at Taji blacked out...after that the rest loses it's zeal...I gotta say I do enjoy some of your vids but come on it's just truck driving not rocket science or brain surgery and having pride in your job is one thing...stroking your ego online is another. I notice you have to approve all these comments...that is soooo lame. Why?
@tinmanfromjbb Ok.... Stroking my ego? I have pride in being a professional driver, and showing others, who don't drive, my experiences as a trucker... how is that "stroking my ego"? And the reason for the approving comments, you'll notice that the videos requiring approval was around a set time frame. This was when I was starting to get higher view counts. With higher view counts, come spam. I don't delve in porno. Nor do I want that content on my videos, even as comments...
@tinmanfromjbb So there for I was monitoring my comments. What is wrong with that? After a while, I had more videos, creating more comments. I just didn't have the time to go thru every comment on 600+ videos to accept them, for one or two spam. So I gave up on that. Now, as for old videos, such as this one, I'm not going to take my time to go into the editor, find the button to click to accept all coments, for a video that get four or five comments in six months time. My account, my options
@tinmanfromjbb As you can plain as day see, I don't monitor my comments for ass caps and crack head keybord rambos. Most oftern, my subscribers do pick them apart.
@seansuth Well for someone as educated as yourself to tear into someone for simply asking a question or making a comment you may not like is silly. Why bother to put yourself and your life out here for others to pick apart if you don't have the strength to take nasty comments or simple questions without firing back at someone...
@tinmanfromjbb "Tear into someone"? "Nasty"? First off, I have thousands of comments, over 600+ videos. I've found the pateren of comments between a simple question, and someone trying to be a douchenozzle. Your original comment seemed to be half way between, trying to be superior. I was not "Nasty", nor did I "try to tear you down" As for your reply to someone elses comment (as it had no concern over you) Shows me, and everyone else, your tryign to start the keybord rambo fight.
@tinmanfromjbb Perhaps it's jealousy on you part, I don't know. However at this point, I chose to end it. You have no gorunds to stand on, for your pointless attacks. So I'll be blocking you now, as I have better things to do, then continue this arguement. Have a WONDER life
I gotta agree Nicci833...I thought it was a part of the job. Funny thing is I never stop that long to pat myself that hard on the back. Nicci I warned you about uploading copywrited material...you are doing that again?! Shame shame you know your name!
So seansuth if I gather your comment correctly about 'crackheads' etc...then there is no point to the video??
@tinmanfromjbb Yes, there is... much the same as your pat on the back videos. Part of the job is moving a vehicle. How many people get to experience it? I have over 7000 subscribers. Of that, I'd say half never sat in the drivers seat. Of that, I'd say half enjoy seeing the perspective of truckers. So, take a wild guess at the point of the video
@nicci833 The same damn point of a crack head spouting off usless dribble... the same point as a 14 yr old kid, acting like a damn fool.. same as people, like you, unlawfully uploading copyrighted material...
I've just started truck driving school, and what I've learned so far has given me a newfound respect for the Profession. I've found it difficult to visualize and following the "dog's tail" but getting better. Hard to break the 30 year car habit and the delay action caused by the length of the trailer.
I've seen most of your videos Sean, and they have been just great. Really appreciate what you and other truckers like Steve and Vince have done.
Very nice backing Sean! I dislike those comments some people leave about blind-siding it ugh! Anyways great video! I like Bison Transport I think they have a nice fleet and I like that they are automatics, that must be nice!
sup sean i can see some people out there are drinking their hateraid. regardless im a fan of all ur vids keep up the good work with filming and driving hope to see u around some day eskimo.
Sean: OMG you made that look SOOO Easy, I'm just learning that, YOU did a Great Job. Thought you were going to Muff it there for a moment though LOL Thanks for the Video.
I don't need supertruckers, like yourself, respect. Nor does the video ask for it. But after a dumbass comment like this, you've lost any repect I MAY have had for you
Why does he need to do that blindsided? his truck's already set up to be backed. you also lost more respect from a one sided comment like that. thumbs down psuedo trucker
Great job. I like the angle looking back. To a newb like me its always going to look to close. :-) One day, when some confidence comes I can learn the mastery. Thanks for all your awesome vids. -N
Its not all that hard really, but for someone that was born into it or know half of what there doing can do it easy. Ill give you props on how close you got to the trailer not alot of people would chance it like that but you know what your doing. Good job. By the way what are you driving?
@seansuth the frieghtliner century is my favorite model of freightliner. it really sucks that they arnt making them anymore:( my dad had a freightliner century at prime inc it was nice 10 spd od 70" condo it was turned up to 70mph
there's some dry van refers that have a push botton on the tandems and the some we all no the lever so yea when its cold as fuck i can see were its lazyness lol and then on the other hand u got some truckers who just dont giva fuck so yeah .....lol ya ll be good peace....
lets see you back a 40 footer into that spot lol. BTW sean, that was tight ass spot, nice job, BUT how you gonna crank the landing gear in a spot that tight lol. Do you lower it almost to the ground, then just drop the bags and drive out?
Actually, moving the trailer bogeys is a great way to distribute your weights. ie get it legal on all your axles. Forward takes weight off of your drives, and back puts weight on them. And smokin job backin that thing so tight...
put the tandems all the way back is harder for me, the trailer has almost no reaction to the tractor when you do that, yard goats can do it easy, they are 15 feet long, but when you have a standard tractor with a sleeper, and a longer wheelbase it all adds up.
All I can do is say thanks for letting me see this. My man just went trucking....and he tells me that he has been nailing the back ups! So he's very happy with how he's doing. And watching this makes me have a new respect for what he is out there doing. Hearing your rig make me feel as if I am right there with him.
When I was watching that, I was thinking 'wow, that's a lot to back up'. That made me laugh a little bit because I realized that my trailer is also a 53. I guess it doesn't look as long as it does when you're the one backing instead of watching someone else.
basically all ya need to do is chase the dogs tale if the trailor starts drifting to the right and you don't want it to do that turn in that direction same goes for the left.
By visualization, you have to know your surroundings and imagine how you fit in them based on what you can see since your completely blind on the right side in this video. But in this particular scenario you really don't have to care about the right side since there is nothing to hit as long as your on target on your left.
That was one stupid video that person must have a pityfull life
