I would honestly love to see a remake, but I don't think Square Enix is going to make it. It's due to the fact that Final Fantasy 7 is respected by so many fans out there. If they were to release a remake that the fans don't like, Final Fantasy 7's reputation would crumble, along with Square Enix. They're too nervous. But, I still hope they make a remake.

i wanna play the game again so bad... but can't find a copy i can afford anywhere... but i agree, they need to make a new one, and add a few unexpected things and keep the old.... and personally, they should make the Sephiroth battle longer and have an epic finale fight when you beat him.
