So much so that i work in the forrest area, but most drive hours to places like columbus. Lots of Rugby in columbus and cinci i'm told by friends., Americans are really taking to it.
I am from canada and I play flank and eighth man. mostly flank tho. and I takled somekid from behind. well I grabed his jersey and threw him round and I broke his nose
School rugby can be awsome, i'm 15 and i'm 6ft 4 and i play on the wing, usually me and the 15 would set somthing like that up against my opposite man. 8 times out of 10 when we do that we injure the teams 14.
u dont see many of them in union cos the laws state u have to make an attempt to wrap your arm round the person in a tackle, but league lacks a lot of the brutality you get in union, for example the scrum. league aint a big thing here anyways, theres very few league clubs in ireland, thats why we generally dont do massively well in it
i liked the massive hits. i have a mate that plays nfl for club which does have a lot of big hits but when he played rugby for school he said that he couldnt believe that we can do this without pads and still get up

Before you laugh off what I just said, think about it. Football armour is made from hard carbon fibre which bounces off of itself. Human bodies are made from skin and pink crap, which does not. u dont see many of them in union cos the laws state u have to make an attempt to wrap your arm round the person in a tackle, but league lacks a lot of the brutality you get in union, for example the scrum. league aint a big thing here anyways, theres very few league clubs in ireland, thats why we generally dont do massively well in it

i actually saw that clip on youtube, and i freely admit that gridiron players would hit harder the majority of the time, but the difference wouldnt be anywhere near as big as that, and the gridiron guys usually just throw themselves in and hope the guy goes down, no technique at all. you should look up "guinea pigs-rugby" and take notice of the way they tackle compared to the guy in the test. a simpleminded person is some1 who thinks that sports science show was actual science.

yes i watched the sports "science" programme, just because the guy had his hands in the air doesnt make it a harder hit. they were trying to compare impact force which has nothing to do with how vulnirable the guy was when hit. in the first hit on this clip the tackler drives thru and the guy with the ball goes flying backwards, in the show the guy gets picked up and dropped in the same spot meaning all forward momentum was lost.

Before you laugh off what I just said, think about it. Football armour is made from hard carbon fibre which bounces off of itself. Human bodies are made from skin and pink crap, which does not. Two men thumping together will not cause a spectacular whirling hit, they'll just hit the ground like a sack of crap. Put them both in hard armour and they'll bounce off each other like ping pong balls.
