  • Oh, it's not personal, he says? BULLSHIT.

  • Santorum: I don't hate gays, some of my best friends are gay! I mean, we respectfully disagree on what's right and wrong, but I think it's wrong to try and take an agenda and try to force it into public policy. Er...unless it's my particular Christian agenda...Then it's okay.

  • God didn't lay it out in the bible. God inspired people to write shit in the bible. Can't even get your farytail trivia right scrotum cheesewipe.

  • we don't think he is homophobic because he said gay marriage was wrong, we think hes homophobic because he compared gay sex to "man on dog and man on child".

  • Respect your beliefs? Bigotry and inequality cannot and should NEVER be respected. He's part of the reason gay teenagers in this country end up killing themselves. You take away their equality and you make them second-class citizens.

  • @XxHalo12xX I never said it was hereditary. And no, it's not a choice. It's a change in the genetics that effect the persons hormones, which makes them attracted to a certain gender. That was the part I was comparing to race. The part of IT NOT BEING A CHOICE. As with all comparisons, I was pointing out a similer trait between the two, not stating that they are the same thing. So quit acting like you're so smart, because so far you've proven just the opposite.

  • Religion shouldn't in any way be a part of politics. Or does the republicans of US want an equivelent to Sharia law they have in Iran. In that case sure go ahead and vote for a president that tells you what to do instead of your own common sense. (sorry for my english).

  • he is such an idiot

  • "As God has laid it out in the Bible..." Perhaps someone should explain to me why Mr. Santorum feels that he is, A) Speaking for God. B) In charge of other people's activities in their own homes, and C) Somehow in a position of judgement over 10's of thousands of same sex couples that have been together for decades.

His "opinion" is no more or less valid than anyone else's.

However, the very thought of him as President is nothing less than terrifying.

  • Santorum gets it wrong in his first sentence, at 0:40 when he says "public policy difference". People's sexual orientation is not the business of the government, and should therefore not be the concern of any policy. This type of meddling into people's lives seems strange coming from someone who wants to limit government interference. But i guess if jesus is ok with it....

  • @frankgroenewoud Disagree

  • @frankgroenewoud ... but gays are the ones making it a business for the govt.

  • Since when does religion have to do anything with Politics. You can't push your fucking onto America.

  • >2012

    >thinking a god exists

    LOL ISHYGDDT

  • any politician that uses the bible to talk about his campaign should be kicked out of government. Its time religion dies so man kind can live on

  • There was once a man, now infamous, who had the same "family values", was a "good Christian man", who's friends & family adored him... Who outwardly despised homosexuality....

He even dressed up as a clown, for free, at children's parties.

His name? - JOHN WAYNE GACY

  • Why do some religious people like him don't like same sex marriage? I mean it's not like they have to marry someone of the same sex?

  • I hope that he gets trapped in a room with lego covering the floor and he has nowhere to step but on them.

  • "I'm not homophobic, I just want to make the lives of of LGBTQ community miserable by not letting them spend their lives with the person they love."

  • "Project an agenda..." Like the one you're projecting from the Old Testament upon all Americans who may or may not be Christian? Good call.

  • @Gilgabotnik Unlikely. He's not out of the race yet but probably will not even get the nomination. Even if he did, he's too far right to win against Obama.

  • Whats so scary is what used to be the fringe right wing bat shit crazy is now the norm in this party. Whats even worse is how they try to hijack history and say founding fathers this founding fathers that. When the founding fathers fought against everything these fucking nutjobs stand for.

  • I'm from the UK, could this guy actually be elected?

  • I don't want this guy to live on this planet anymore.

  • Santorum, lemme tell you something. It's called a Separation of Church and State. I may be Catholic, like you, but you need to learn what Separation of Church and State means, and then learn respect.

  • @majormorkiss I was speaking in Santorum's voice to show how his words written literally sound COMPLETELY ignorant! Being a lesbian myself, I believe all people should have the right to be with whom they chose, marry if they so desire, and be open about who they are in any situation. Period.

  • @xcr0nx AHHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!

  • I don't hate them, they just can't have the same rights as me.

  • @canmarielan But why can't they?

  • RICK ONLY HATES GAY PEOPLE BECAUSE 15 YEARS AGO WHEN HE WAS IN PRISON HE WAS MADE A BITCH AND HAD TO HOLD THEM ANKLES AND SPREAD THAT BUTTER EVERY NIGHT, REAL SHIT. IT GOT SO BAD THAT NOW HE HAS A PROLAPSED ANUS, WHICH NOW HE COMMONLY REFERS TO AS HIS MOUTH. NIGGA PROLLY PERSPERATES STRAIGHT MUSTARD. AND NOT THE TOP SHELF SHIT EITHER, THAT KNOCK OFF BRAND SHIT. SMELLING LIKE EDDIE WINSLOW'S FLAT TOP OLE RAGGITY ASS BARGAIN BIN NIGGA

RON PAUL 2012 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB THE MOON LANDING WAS FAKE

  • Being gay is not a decision!!!! Why can't people understand that?!

  • @tom2mack YES being gay in alot not all cases is a decision. If it wasnt, the gay community wouldnt be TRYING to force homosexuality on our children, While gblt make the false claim homosexuals numbers will rise in the future. Just like any "cult" behaviour thy are trying to brainwash a recruit "members".

  • @jskyroe1 There is so much wrong with what you said...nobody chooses to be gay, it's the way you are born. Gays don't 'force' homosexuality on children, in fact I don't believe they are trying to influence at all. Any progressive thinking by children is a result of the media raising awareness and making lives, on the whole, more bearable for homosexuals. Furthermore, the rise in the number of gay people is because of charities (Trevor Project) which inform that it's ok to be gay, because it is.

  • @jskyroe1 Saying that the LGBT community wants children to be taught about them as a minority is trying to force them to be gay.. is exactly like arguing the NAACP wanting black history taught is trying to force all children to be black. I want children to know about the struggles homosexuals have been through. Mostly, so they don't end up repeating them when they found out a classmate might be gay. And secondly, because there are a lot of successful, happy, gay Americans we should be proud of.

  • @Bamont Yes, right after the lesson on Carvers contributions to agriculture, we will discuss Rusty McCock drilling the first holes between stalls at a truck stop. *sings national anthem* god bless america.

  • "This is a difficult question... sort of..."

    It's not.

  • 'God says...'

Don't hide behind religion to project your own hideous views. This man should burn in hell.

  • My question to these people is WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE? WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE FIRST FREAKING AMENDMENT IN YOUR CONSTITUTION WHICH STATES, "congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,"? For real, these evangelical christian republicans make me sick to my stomach and this is coming from a fifteen year old canadian girl. Get a fucking grip, we're living in 2012, a modern world!

  • The country is burning these idiots are talking about gays and gay marriage, unbelievable!

  • 1st ammendment: The amendment prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion

  • @jerrydecaire1 unless its peforming illegal inhumane acts in the name of that relgion/cult (islam) hangs terrorizes mutliates and decapitates non belivers..

  • So your Saying to respect your opinion on anti - gay marriage even though you say that you don't think that is what we should be teaching our children, and base them off the bible? you sir, will never be president. there is way too many gay people in america to let that happen.

  • That man is insane.

  • No, Santorum sucks big fat devil dick.

  • I won't respect Santorum like he tells people to do if he can't respect that gay people also deserves fundamental rights like marriage.

  • Yeah seriously since when the bible is policy?

  • fuck you rick santorum. go suck jesus' dick.

  • "What we're going to teach our children in schools." Yeah...because letting gays get married means that schools are going to start teaching our children about butt sex.

  • "I want to give you the opportunity to explain why they should not feel that way about you" Whoa, that is some unbiased journalism right there.

  • @jskyroe1 I apologize if there was any confusion. I wasn't sexually harassing Rick Santorum, I was verbally disagreeing with him.

  • Telling these people they can't get married because of your religion is like saying I can't eat a doughnut because you're on a diet.

  • @noumenonification No, it's because marriage is child-centred, not adult-centred. Without the family, you will have no society. Would you be typing your comment on youtube if your parents were gay?

  • @ShiftKoenigsegg Marriage is child centred? So do you think that those who are infertile shouldn't be allowed to marry? Marriage is about showing commitment and love, not creating a breeding factory.

  • @Gabinodasquino How would you know you are infertile until you get married (since no sex before marriage)? And if by chance you are infertile (because most couples are not) then you can adopt.

  • Okay wait stop... I respect their DECISION, did he really just say that? Oh god so you accept them but you believe they choose to be victimised and you also deny them equal rights to boot. Facepalm.

  • What a fucking douchebag. Fuck society, and FUCK this Rick asshole. People should be able to be happy with the one they love! It's not like they're CHOOSING to be like that to cause fights or something, it's not their fault and more importantly, there's absolutely nothing wrong with them being who they are! What the hell is wrong with them getting married? EXACTLY! Nothing. Nothing is wrong with it, and nothing will happen other than the fact they will be happy.

  • But it isn't for the better of society, that's the thing. What does he think will happen? Everyone will riot and rise up because gays can marry?

  • My view of him has changed. I'll vote for him.

  • I live in a state where gay marriage is legal, and I don't feel the "gay's agenda" is being pressed down on me. The fact is that some people are gay, most people are straight. When I see a gay couple holding hands in public, I don't feel an overwhelming urge to get with someone of the same sex, I just let them be. My best friend is gay, and she doesn't pressure me with the "gay agenda" or any of that fabricated crap, she just wants to marry who she loves.

  • If Ricky Santorum also said wolverines make good house pets would you believe him?

  • I wonder if its possible for a Conservative to make an entire speech without using the word "children". I don't think it is.

  • Well FIRST of all It's not a decision.

  • I honestly dont care who gets the presidency anymore. As long as its not Rick. Seriously anybody but Rick.

  • 'decision'...

  • I agree gay marriage should be like other marriage laws, a reserved power for the states.

  • I would like to meet both of those peoples so called gay and lesbian friends. Because I kinda doubt they exist.

  • It is personal when you tell someone that they shouldn't be treated or seen equally in the law.

  • Yeah, I'm sure Megyn Kelly has tons of gay and lesbian friends.

  • wait, did he say he respects their "decision?" Sexual orientation is as much of a choice as race. What a ignorant, insensitive, unethical, condescending, narrow-minded moron.

  • ron paul says if it both people agree to get marryed it should be elegal believe goverment should not get in valuled in marege its a realigus instation &

  • @smartass250 Are you drunk?

  • @static472 No race is hereditary, pigmentation in your skin determined by the DNA and genes you posses. Homosexuallity is a neurological choice which develops from certain experiences the individual has. It's a preference and not hereditary, hence not compatible to race.

  • Separation of Church and State. now STFU.

  • If santorum and romney are in heaven then I can't wait to be In Hell

  • He has a mental disorder because of his religious cult beliefs.

  • Who give a fuck about society. So someone should be unhappy and not live the way they want to live because of society. Fuck you!!

  • ANDETH GODETH SAIDETH, THOU SHALT NOTETH BEETH GAYETH!

  • do we follow the constitution in this country or the fucking bible?!!

  • @netoboss831 GREAT point!!!!!!

  • @netoboss831 Gay marriage has never been allowed in this country...only up until the last 30 years, with the Femenist movement bullshit has it even been considered. Just because we don't follow the Bible doesn't mean its a sick moral-less free for all.

  • @phantogroupie909 feminism is not bullshit you misogynistic prick.

  • @netoboss831 "do we follow the constitution in this country or the fucking bible?!!"

Neither. People in the US completely ignore both however they see fit. When the Federal Reserve can essentially bail themselves out and Obama supports bills like Dodd-Frank that essentially makes it illegal to operate as a small lender, Gives the EPA a federal mandate over states, and forces socialized medicine on a bankrupt country i'd say both morality and the constitution have pretty much been disregarded.

  • @netoboss831 The Constitution is Bible based and Bible inspired.

  • @MyChainsAreGone7777 your constitution is SHIT, all political acts should be religion-free

  • @netoboss831 So if the Quran tells us to beat our wives in bed and admonish them if they disobey the husband in Quran Chapter 4 verse 34 then we should do it? WELL ITS RELIGION FREE. If the Buddhists teach there is no sin, well then. CHAOS. The Bible lets our hearts be led by mercy and breaks our heart for what breaks God heart, I dont know why you are so hostile toward the Bible regarding your ignorance. Its not Gods fault you have troubles, its man, for it is a fallen, sinful world.

  • @netoboss831 the problem is its a mix of both.

I had to do a persuasive paper on same sex marriage, I did like a weeks worth of research on the roots of why this country has its messed up values it does today, it seems like even the constitution contradicts itself. :/

  • Disgusting

  • santorum does not truly believe this in his heart

  • @twittytumbles - I completely agree, he's just trying to act "nice" so he can get more votes but we all know that he hates gay people. We all know that he has a religious vendetta which is why I would want to flee the country if he ever became president or in any real position of power.

  • If I hear one more Republican say that sexual orientation is a choice I will scream.

  • Scary that someone who doesn't believe in the seperation of church and state has a following in this country:)

  • what the hell happened to separation of church and state. Im religious and I'm gay, but i believe that god wants me to be with the person i love. the government shouldn't have a say in who gets married they should only worry about the taxes and shit of marriage.

  • an agenda?????... they just... want to get married...

  • I'd rather fucking vote for Hitler.

  • @Peanutbutterhero way to exaggerate.

  • @Peanutbutterhero Highly doubtfull

  • @Peanutbutterhero Hitler killed homosexuals. Dickbag.

  • @Peanutbutterhero Really? Hitler massacred homosexuals.

  • @Peanutbutterhero Amen to that, my friend. I still can't believe that anyone with even a shred of intelligence and human decency would listen to these Republican haters in 2012. Their campaigns are a collective axiom of hatred, bigotry and ignorance! I will say this... Santorum and Romney have a certain offbeat sex appeal.

  • @Peanutbutterhero At least he hated almost everyone equally...

  • @polisanity I was just about to refer to Aristotle. Rick santorum 2012 :) ! I'm apart of the campaign team and am just delighted to fight for the cause.

  • Typical gay person's opinion: "I want to have the right to marry someone of the same sex if I choose, and I don't care if straight people get married; good for them."

Rick Santorum: "I want straight people to have marriage rights, and gay people should never marry ever."

Does he not even see how these opinions are p much fundamentally different, and gay people are in no way obligated to respect his bigotry...

  • god makes rules about religion controdicts these rules in very next chapter. oh yep the bible seems so legit

  • @favelaninja

the bible is just a book, written by people

    use your fucking brains

  • @KitchenKiller95 i would but unfortunatly i lost them in a debate with a monkey over which flavour jello is best banana or grape

  • @tnoyy34rt no I understand what it means. I'm stating it is not a "law", it is no where in the constitution and it is not listed in our amendments. Last time I checked we were One Nation Under God. Therefore I'm going to go out on a limb and say that, that's not really separating church and state. ;)

  • @CandaceGilkey

“Question with boldness even the existence of God; because, if there

be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of

    blindfolded fear.” – Thomas Jefferson

“Religions are all alike – founded upon fables and mythologies.” –

    Thomas Jefferson

“History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people

maintaining a free civil government.” – Thomas Jefferson

  • @CandaceGilkey

“In no instance have . . . the churches been guardians of the

liberties of the people.” – James Madison

“The divinity of Jesus is made a convenient cover for absurdity.” – John Adams

“Lighthouses are more helpful than churches.” – Benjamin Franklin

You can feel free to believe what you want; you do have that right.

But you have no right to force your beliefs on others.

This is why this is a free nation.

  • Everyone needs to research and read the bible before they say what is in it and what is not. By the way, where do you all get this separation of church and state idea?

  • @CandaceGilkey First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof [...]"

  • It's easy to see that Santorum is as gay as a $2 bill...

  • um....

    God didn't write the bible.

  • First time watching this video. He definitely has my vote. Christians need to continue to stand firm for America's sake. W have a right to religion and it shouldn't be taken away. Our religion calls for us to pray and to separate ourselves from sin. We don't hate anyone though that's how the media makes it look. We're simply exercising the right we have (also)... If we don't stand up and speak out then we're not who we claim to be

  • @floridaboy22 We have a right to religion and in exercising that right we live a certain way. If evolution is put in text books for atheist then and my kids have to listen to it then your children should have to pray or give parents options in what they want their kids to be taught. This cant continue to be one-sided in every area.

  • @floridaboy22 There are private schools that have children pray within their schools specifically for the purpose of the curriculum. The reason that public schools cannot have prayer be mandatory is because of the separation of church and state. Public schools are a state organization payed for by taxpayers, and so they cannot have mandatory prayer. If this were the case then public schools would need to have mandatory practice of all religions: Hinduism, Muslim, Buddhism, etc.

  • @Naftelei Okay so i'll say it again PARENTS should have options in what they want their children to be taught (Hinduism, Muslim, Buddhism, etc.) If an Atheist can go through our courts and have prayer removed because they don't want their children having to participate because thats not what they believe in thats observing ONE parties opinions and beliefs. Separate church and state but being an Atheists is a set of beliefs right? I should have the option to have my child pray or study evolution.

  • @floridaboy22 Atheism has nothing to do with why evolution is taught in schools. The reason that evolution is taught in schools is because it is a big part of the study of science. Science is taught in schools because it is a respected method of observing events. Evolution does not lambaste any religion, nor does it attempt to disprove any religion. If you do not want your children to learn evolution, then home-school them and don't teach them evolution.

  • @Naftelei Even me, as a Christian, I must say you are right. This issue was decieded upon by the people and we (Creationist Christians) must respect it. You can bring this point up I guess lol, but nonetheless, you are correct.

  • @Naftelei Lol I have to pull my children out of school and teach them at home? Lol I don't mind my children being taught photosynthesis in plants and other things about nature lol. No problem at all!

What I do have a problem with is my children being taught lies. Man made facts with obvious errors. Then they grow into a society that we see all around us because they have no foundation. Look at the things going on in our country man.

  • @floridaboy22 and in the world. People taking human life like squashing a bug, Teenage and college girls with no respect for themselves as growing women, young and adult males into drugs, broken families/divorce rates, and teen pregnancies, Gay marriages etc.. This is all races... People need guidance and they need to know you have to answer to someone.

  • @floridaboy22 which is why REAL sex education and Drug education is important. rather than simply saying DON'T HAVE SEX OR YOU'LL DIE or something retarded like that. Don't go to invisible beard fairies in the sky. that'll only scare the extremely gullible, you need some real, tangible information about the risks involved and more importantly, how to minimize them! Condoms do not increase sexuality, they lower teen pregnancy and STI transmission! Encourage empathy, not fear of some Deity!

  • @Lanceleoghauni You may be a lot better off finding a deity the way you talk. Thats all I feel needs to be said to you if you think Christianity is about fear lol; because of him we fear nothing : )

  • @floridaboy22 so I'm sure hell was invented for the funzies.

  • @floridaboy22 You're misunderstanding what science is. Evolution is only a THEORY, which means that it is not necessarily true. It is not taught in schools as truth, only that it is supported with a considerable amount of evidence. There are very few things that scientific evidence has shown to be true, gravity being one of the few. If you want your children to be taught that evolution is a lie, then tell them that it is a lie. I am sure you are capable of doing so.

  • @Naftelei hahahaha man just forget u read my initial comment.

  • @floridaboy22 Your initial comment stated that Christians need to stand for what they believe in. Getting angry at evolution is not standing up for what you believe in, it is cherrypicking among many issues in an attempt to support your ideas that the government is some atheistic big brother. If you want schools to stop teaching evolution then talk to your legislature, because arguing on a YouTube video about Santorum's views on gay marriage is not going to do anything.

  • @Naftelei - Actually, evolution has been proven over and over in biology... you mean "creationism" is a "theory"... so learn to check facts before posting to the internet. thanks.

  • @tnoyy34rt Science is only a method of observing events. Yes, there is a large amount of evidence that supports the theory of evolution, but it is not yet proven to be fact. Take some time with a biology professor at a University and you will understand why evolution has not been proven. I know that all the evidence supporting evolution may make it seem like fact, but the notion that it is is merely a misunderstanding of how science works.

  • @Naftelei - Science requires "proof" from multiple sources, so that's why we know the sky is blue, the earth goes around the sun, fire is hot, ice is cold, etc... Yes, we have looked through history and see animals & insects that "adapt" to new surroundings, so it's "proof" organisms evolve.

    -

Only uneducated people don't agree, and if you notice, most of them are blinded by false religious texts.

  • @tnoyy34rt The changes within organisms is only a part of the theory of evolution. This part is proven, because it has been observed throughout history. However, the mechanism that is evolution, or the idea of natural selection, has not been proven. Since all aspects of the theory of evolution have not been proven, then it has not as a whole been proven.

  • @Naftelei Lol listen to you guys!!!Not a good display ofthings being taught by these professors. I guess we all believe in fairy tales hahaha : D :D

  • @Naftelei - yes, but not all theories of why the earth revolves around the sun has been proven either. we just know with about 98% certainty that organisms evolve, and earth goes in a semi-circle around the sun. trying to determine the "exact" reason for anything is impossible because of the uncertainty principle, (google: Heisenberg). we only know that the bible is false since none of it can be proven except for some location data... the rest is hearsay.

  • @floridaboy22 an institution that is funded by the state or Central government is not allowed to favor any one religion, this includes activities like school endorsed prayer sessions. Things like that are the realm of Campus Crusade for Christ or some other student organization.

  • Just so you guys are aware Ron Paul is second last in the race right now and Rick Santorum along with Romney are in the lead. So majority of people are agreeing with him ;)

  • @CandaceGilkey Actually, Paul is getting a lot of attention in the last few state electoral votes. By the way, there is a large horror going on right now of the republicans hiding Paul's votes and hiding the results of polls that favor Paul from the people. Many are trying to attack the elections right now because they are beyond just fraud.

  • @Zolazora32 Where did you get your facts? Wikipedia, dumbass.

  • @xCptWafflex I don't use wikipedia- too much user submitted ideas and not facts. Go ahead and look up the results of poll reported to be a "mitt win" before 25% of polls counted, and it turned out Paul won by a landslide.

  • @Zolazora32 - no, wiki is correct since everything is cited (look at the bottom of every topic) plus it's peer reviewed, so there is no way to put false information on a wiki without a thorough review... it's only the facts... if you disagree, it simply means you are incorrect.

  • @tnoyy34rt Please check out latest articles by up to date and correct news areas on the 2012 voter fraud.

  • I wonder who will want to be his gay friends with this constant vitriols and condemnation towards gays.

  • Okay for one, its people like THIS guy who is making the gay right issue a big deal. If everyone would just accept it, then it wouldn't be causing so much problems.

This jack ass is getting way too personal. All I hear is about what he believes, what he thinks, blah blah blah.

Mother cracker I wanna know what you will DO. Not what you think.

    No vote.

  • fuck this guy.

  • No I don't have to respect you for "trying to take that orientation and try to project an agenda on to the American public that is consistent with that". If I think idiotic, I'm not going to respect that.

  • vermin supreme

  • THis guys is a fucking psycho. How could anyone vote for him?

  • @Bansheerider1979 Someone who has mental problems.

  • seriously, its already over. Ron Paul 2012

  • I hate you ya homophobic bigot, you Lie!!! If you become prezzy I will refuse to adress you as president because I hate your guts! I will refer to you as "that homophobic bigot in the white house"!!!!

  • how can the word Santorum, the mixture of lube and fecal matter that is the byproduct of anal sex, be used to refer to something as perverse and disgusting as the former Republican senator from Pennsylvania?

  • Comment removed

  • 0:08 Nice and compassionate? He's against pre-natal care, contraceptives, abortion, PUBLIC SCHOOLS, gay marriage, women serving the armed forces, and women recieving equal pay. This is just two out-of-touch rich people talking about people they don't give a damn about. Santorum is biased, ignorant, and insensitive.

  • PUKE!!!

  • everytime i order a 10 piece chicken nugget i hope that there is accidentally 11 inside

  • @misterkauffman I understand where you are coming from on the animal aspect and though it's a child's movie it is indeed "the circle of life". I said I assume that because you have seemed to be 100% liberal thus far. I apologize if you are not. I am not "religious" either. I believe in the word of God and I live my life to love and honor Him. I don't dip my fingers in holy water to "be holy". I pray, I live my life to love and honor God. I believe that God loves ALL people and that is not exclu
