@jhweh2007 Why can't there be prophets in the latter days? Having a prophet is a way that out Heavenly Father shows that he loves us, who can provide guidance and revelation from the mouth of the Lord. The same way He loves the people of 1,800 years ago, He loves us today!

@Cdaae663 To bad the prophet doesn't say anything prophetic anymore. Just common politically correct feel good stuff. Pay your tithing, go to Church and don't ask questions about curtain topics in our Church History or else there will be consequences. If you want real good Prophetic stuff you gotta go to the 1800s prophets and read their writings. Our Prophet today is more of a CEO of a Corporation with 14 advisers. Just my opinion but you can believe what you want.

@cwood4ever Sorry you are apparently disillusioned by the modern church. Is there a need for brand new doctrine? One might even think that since so many cannot find it in them to live the laws and commandments we are given so far, what good is giving us more that we cannot abide by. Our leaders are inspired and honest men that serve the Lord. There are many that deride them and their work by they are blessed of God.
