Should I get this phone over the Garmin Nuvi Asus A50 which has a built-in GPS with a 3mp Camera? They're both $199 at Dick Smith but the Garmin is locked onto the Optus Network whereas the Ideos isn't. The Garmin sounds more durable and reliable but this has high speed internet and android 2.2 whereas the Garmin has 2.1. Someone help me make the decision!
@BennDuong Huawei is pretty reliable, I worked in the telecommunications industry and over the years their products have flooded the industrial market
@BennDuong If you're all about the games + camera then it's garmin over huawei. They both have shit cameras. Ideos can't run high end games. I think the garmin has a shit interface but I don't know. It looks nice and all. They both actually look nice. I would personally choose the garmin over the huawei. If you don't care about camera and games then definitely go for the huawei.
at&t not buying this make phone #20000 that i wont get cause of at&t shity network serusly how do they get all da mid range smart phones ??? cause im like lost here they fucking suck but got like 20 new phones dis month
@MalcolmsonStudios A knock off is in the eyes of the beholder. The Ideos' form factor is evolved from the T-mobile Pulse. Several Huawei handsets have been like this.
I own a Huawei phone !!! It's rock solid, I've had it for years, yeah the paint chipped, the metal corroded and is very laggy on menus, but it's an old unexpensive phone, but it's a fucking rock, lasted and still lasts... But my experience with my phone doesn't make me buy another model of Huawei, I'd rather get a more serious brand with Android...

@BennDuong The Ideos also has built-in GPS and a 3mp camera, so you should probably get the ideos!

@MalcolmsonStudios They must be HTC fans cause the Huawei U8230 looks almost identical to the HTC Touch. Naughty.
