  • I've been in Canada two years ago and someone sad to me that he is retired and living in Toronto City.

  • Does someone know something of Dave Stone?

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, but he's very private and wouldn't want friends talking about him.

  • Played with Max Webster in 1980. Max opened for Rush in Canada in the same year, and David was there, playing his keyboards.

    Looks like he's retired nowadays.

  • @ritchierod hes my cousin and hes chillin in canada

  • @ritchierod

The last I saw him was in Vancouver in 2004/2005. He was about to move to Whitehorse. Lost contact unfortunately. Would love to hear from him!

  • @MsCordizzle : Thanks !!! Regards from Rosario - Argentina.

  • This guy's a freaking genius!

  • I play keyboards and I hope to be as good as him someday. I even look like him except probably much younger.

  • he is absolutely outstanding, you dont find many of these kind of keyboarders today anymore. he is one level for me with jon lord, don airey, rick emerson, rick wakeman, tony carey and so forth.

  • @northwind1970 easily...he graduated with honors at 13..

  • I own this DVD and yes, the best keyboardist. Former symphonic slam member. Now, nobody has a damn clue as to his whereabouts. For all I care, he could have walked past me a hundred times!

  • Great solo David!

If disco hadn't come along, who knows, maybe Symphonic Slam could have been Canada's Yes. I just found myself listening to Universe by Symphonic Slam (1976)early this morning, and it still kicks! What ever happened to Slam's David Stone (Keys), or John Lowry (Drums)?

  • David Stone tocando no Rainbow, no show Live in Munich 1977.

  • @rush2112rush2112 He's living in vancouver last i heard, my dad jams with him every once in awhile.
