  • So many hits... so little recognition.. FUCK THE MUSIC INDUSTRY!

  • need a UK tour man. SHAKEEE AND TUMBLEEEEEEEEEE!

  • I never get tired of them! They just keep rockin'...

  • gotta have more cowbell!

  • I love you guys...I really do ♥

  • tremendo riff de entrada lo amo

  • Pretty sure Bill Leverty used Yamaha guitars for Firehouses first 3 albums. The one he is using here looks like an Ibanez, but if you catch the head top, you can see it doesn't conform to the standard Ibanez of that era. It looks more like a Yamaha. Not to mention, he had signed an exclusive contract with Yamaha guitars in late 1989.

  • You know there awesome when the live version is just as good if not better I like the live version better

  • @Surferrobert1500 I was just think'n the same before I read yer comment ! Very few bands I have heard live don't come close to sounding as good live- One that stands out that does along with these guys is the mighty ///SCORPIONS/// -the are the ultimate shit n my book! But, these guyz (firehouse) never really got the credit they deserve !

  • I've seen this band in arenas as well as tiny clubs, and they always bring it 100%. Plus, the singer still frickin' rules, and how many bands from that era can claim that?

  • Get those guys to norway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Saw them in altoona on friday. I walked backstage and hung out with them and they were so cool. Such awesome guys. They are all very humble but extremely talented musicians. Great show, absolutely amazing.

  • AUSOME ! ! !

  • this is the best sounding cowbell i've ever heared!

Firehouse is one of my favourite bands and i'm just 15, is that normal ;D?

  • its an ibanez, has a AANJ neck pocket, can see it at the end of overnight sensation

    Dam ther good!

  • Damn, it sounds like the album. lol

  • the white wide flat pick guard makes it look like a stratocaster. hehehe. well, thanks for the info. hehehe

  • I don't think that's a strat - I think its an Ibanez

  • is that a stratocaster? But it has a different set of pick-ups. It also has 24 frets instead of 22.

  • @jeffkid9999 its more than likely a HAMER.

  • @jeffkid9999 its more than likely a HAMER.maybe an ibenez,or a charvelle.at this time they made so many different guitars that looked like each other.

  • @jeffkid9999

Bill was endorsed by Yamaha during this time and played the Pacifica 1221s and occasionally the 1421 or the Japan customs. I can't get a good look at the headstock on this one, but it isn't a Pacifica - maybe a Carvin. It's hard to see.

  • @ThematicApperception man, I almost shure that the entire banda was endorsed by yamaha at a point... the Hold your fire cd brings that information.

  • Awesome They Came too Cowboys Nightclub .....Very good Live

  • The frontman is so casual and badass.. fuckin rules

  • Nice!

  • 3:31 the drummer !

  • their power sources for rocking are in their hair

  • This is so great! One of the best live bands. Their first cds sound is out of this planet, so amazing drum sound and overall killer production. Firehouse rocks \,,/

  • Moar cowbell!

  • Firehouse is the best at what they do... First two albums kick ass!

  • more i listen to them, more i appreciate

  • One of the best bands ever and the rest is talk.

  • 2:52 ♥

  • d+, amo eles veih

  • Damm i would love to learn this song but you cant find tabs or a lesson anywhere!!!

  • 3:31 3:33 holy shit..

  • Bill Leverty is such an underrated guitarist.

  • very good rock band!wondered what happened to them

  • fuk ya man they played in the sprigs last night n i never heard of them til last night...they definetly my new fav that lead guitarist is a fukin genius god!

  • @sk8terboy412 the guitarists, is a decendent of THOMAS JEFFERSON.

AS IN THE THOMAS JEFFERSON. THAT WE LEARNED IN HISTORY CLASS.

  • @fervent66 I couldn't find anything that substantiates that

  • @Transamstance well, according to the guitaritst. he stated, in a metal magazine years ago. not sure, whether it was " CIRCUS " or " HIT PARADER ".

but, he said it in an interview with the group. then again, anyone can say anything.

  • @fervent66 I asked him on FACEBOOK, this is what he responded (seriously) "True - TJ's sister, Martha, is my great grandmother 7 generations removed. That makes him my great, great, great, great, great, great, great uncle. And, because he and George Washington were cousins, I'm related to George as well. Do you think I should I run for president? :)"

  • @Transamstance why not ?. just think about it. you would have the proof to back it up. mainstream society, may see it as a hoax. but, if you supplied the resource of your findings on this, you may be highly recieveced, by the mass population of our country.

who knows, you may have swarm's of women, all over you. increasing your popularity.

and i don't mean, within the political area either. LOL.

GO FOR IT & GOOD LUCK.

  • THE BEST FIREHOUSE SONG!!!!!!

  • @marce2157 +1

  • You Must be a backstreetboys fan eh you fag.

  • fuck u all!! firehouse is d best.. hahahaha.

  • The Bass Player is Perry Richardson. He played for FireHouse and now plays bass and sings backup for Craig Morgan. Check out Craig's Official Website.

  • Bass player isith country star Craig Morgan, go figure .............

  • there an awsome band i saw them in charlotte at the blowout the opening band was likity split they both blew the roof of that little club. it was awsome.

  • These guys are awesome...Seen them live in 2005...Great show!

  • I always loved the opening riff as a kid and still do to this day. These guys always put on a hell of a tight show. All are excellent musicinas as well. Bill rips on guitar and should have got more recognition than those emo grunge pukes.

  • @louie817 AMEN!!!

  • I saw them live last year in a small club with about 40 people there. It was amazing how little excitement there is now for great 80's rock.

But I will say that if you have a chance to see them........see them! They are every bit as good as in this video. Singer still has the range, band looks good and sound great.

  • Michael Foster is such a killer drummer!..Rock on brah!..

  • Love the cowbell!!!!

  • Rock 4 ever.

  • man this music is where its at

  • AMAZING LIVE PERFOMANCE!

  • Comment removed

  • Now what would be the point of a comment like that? If you like a band, express that without putting them down at the same time. I love those three bands you mentioned, but I honestly think Firehouse destroys Crue and Quiet Riot. I think Firehouse's first album is better than anything made by Def Leppard, but Def win for over more quality albums.

Just say you like the band and that's it. Save the comparisons for message boards that ask you to compare bands.

  • i would agree these guys are better but cmon no1 beats Def Leppard

  • Amazing song! I loosing control!

  • all these guys are so talanted. sounds EXACTLY like the CD. all live clips i can find are just as good.

  • And even now, almost 20 years later, they STILL sound like this live!

I saw them tonight in concert here in Springfield, MO, and they were amazing. CJ Snare still hits those high notes, and the band is tight.

Rock on, Firehouse. I'm gonna head to Amazon and look for your new CD right now.

  • Yeah grunge might have killed this era But in my list Glam Metal KILLED Grunge all the way....Grunge Suck!

  • Just remember.....this era is STILL standing...

    Where's grunge? Hello??? *echo....*

    We won hahaha.

  • one of the better songs of Firehouse! Kick ass!

  • It's got that rythym and it makes me lose control....When we shake and tumble ...DOWN on me baby!!!...lol...yea!!!!

  • Firehouse Till' death!

  • Bill Leverty !!

     I love you!!!

  • too bad grunge killed this era.

  • Fuck grunge bunch of little winey assholes but this music has come back and were is grunge dead!

  • They killed us in 1992...but I think it's safe to say we rose from the dead...Grunge is STILL dead, with no signs of coming back anytime soon : )

  • Love Firehouse! These guys are pro! I want to go to one of their concerts!!

  • firehouse are so fucking good!!i hope they will be back in greece as soon as possible!!!shake and tumble down with me baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I saw Firehouse live with Tesla back in the day, so I have to disagree with the comment that they must have fixed up CJ Snare's voice in the studio. They really do sound just like this live and he is an AMAZING vocalist. He was classically trained since the age of five. (Yes I was such a fan when I was 16, that I had their VHS and he states this fact on the video).

  • Shake! and Tumble! yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah

  • Firehouse rulez!

  • soo freakin awesome.. lakenormanusa (MY UNCLE)... thats freakin kickass

  • eso es lo que busco...this is the best best best best best best song of rock!

  • i mlike so much

  • Definitely one of the more underrated bands to come out of the big hair era! Firehouse had a GREAT live sound and show! I saw them several times and they never disappointed!

  • FUUUCK GREATTTT!!!!!!!!

    the best Hardrock band ever!

  • They're good in performing live!

  • they are pretty much the best live band out there. most bands make all their music in a studio, and it sounds like shit live.... but not firehouse! \m/

  • I saw Firehouse in 1989 at their/my hometown of Charlotte, NC, at a small club called 13/13.

    My ears are still ringing!!

  • i agree ratt is one of them. if bands, recorded their shows and play them back, they can see how they sound like shit. that's why, you lay off the booze. it can fuck up the voice. especially, if you have a show to do.

  • this seriously KICKS ASS!!

best live performance ever seen and heard!

    ~it makes me lose controll....~

  • nice and crunchy, gotta love it

  • ya i still plug in the ol ibanez and jam on some of this.great to blast.smooookkkin guitarist.

  • these guys are fucking awesome.....without those kick ass back up vox....nothing.

  • i am over 50 and this still rocks.. we used to dance to this in my day.

  • oh ye my dads cousin is the lead singer:) C.J. Snare there still good!! I saw'em in concert last night!!

  • raaak aaaaaggggghhh! (rock on)

  • I don't think it's an overddub.

  • its not.

  • someone needs to cover this on a guitar and post the vid

  • why?

  • because its a good song?

  • i tried

    gonna upload

  • I can't guarentee anything, but I can say I have seen Firehouse many times and CJ Snare doesn't need to be overdubed. He is an INCREDIBLE vocalist! FIREHOUSE FUCKING ROCKS!

  • I think you're right, they HAVE to be a little 'corrected' in studio. They are just too 'perfect'. Still a fantastic but unlucky band though.

  • why unlucky?

  • because they arised when glam rock started to fade away from the alternative strom of the Nirvana crap. If they started say 5-7 years earlier, they were so good that they could rise up to the levels of Bon Jovi or Def Leppard.

  • thanks for the info

  • guys this is a great band, however i can guarantee the vocals were overdubbed in the studio, no one sounds this good live, too produced, always loved this band though

  • I think you're right, they HAVE to be a little 'corrected' in studio. They are just too 'perfect'. Still a fantastic but unlucky band though.

  • I think it's still pretty good live.

  • Firehouse is a great band. They just had the misfortune of getting signed right before the grunge onslaught! Death to Nirvana! Just kidding, Nirvana's great. The death of 80's glam metal was bound to happen sooner or later. I just wish this band had been around at the start of the genre, instead of shit like Faster Pussycat, etc.

  • Faster Pussycat is sleaze though

  • saw them in concert last night.....awesome

played this song and it was amazing

  • Pronto en Colombia..yeah!!!

  • this song makes me want to throw my fists up in the air....or run to my drum kit and play it XD

  • the lead singer is my dads cousin

    (im serious)

  • woah, you must be the coolest guy alive then

  • you're dad's cousin and you don't know his name

  • damn i havnt seen this vid in like a months still sounds good

  • Can't wait to see these guys again this saturday.

  • more cowbell more cowbell!! :))

  • I love Firehouse.Metal rules and Firehouse rules more.

  • Wow.. definately the Best Live band i;ve heard... they sound better than the studio version! 80's at its best!!!

  • it really sounds great. this band kick ass

  • wow they are great live.. sounds exactly like the original.. they are deffinetly not one of the high/drunk rock bands of the times, haha, they are too down pat..

  • id like to kno wht this dvd is called too

  • The name of the video: Firehouse Rock On The Road.

  • o thanks dude

  • no problem! It's a really good video, I highly recommend. The video was recorded live in 1991 in Japan. It also has backstage and behind the scenes with the band.

  • Does anyone knows when was this filmed ??? and how is the dvd called ???

  • I believe that it was filmed back in 1991. Th name of the video is called Firehouse Rock On the Road.

  • I saw these guys at a club back in the mid 90's and to my surprise, they rocked it hard. And after the show, they whole band hung out in the club talking to anybody and everybody. C.J. and the guys are very good to their fans...new and old.

They also sang an old Eagles song, Seven Bridges Road. That was an unexpected but nice twist. All I can say is..perfect harmonies!

  • Bill is an amzing guitarist!!

  • Can't believe this isn't overdubbed, it's perfect.

Wish I was born twenty years earlier for this stuff, great band - hope to see them, they still rock!

  • VEry Very good live!

  • they were only under rated in certain areas i was rocking the streets with this the day it came out hehe:D

  • This band flipping rock! I used to be heavy into Def Leppard, but after hearing them, they make Def Leppard sound like an old lady driving down the street. Too bad they were so under rated.

  • AWESOME BABEE

  • nono.. esto es lo mejor del mundo!

  • were these guys called Firehouse or Fire House?? just wondering seeing as though my bands called Firehouse lol

  • Firehouse, unlucky.

  • man kke the good ol'days....

  • Amazingly clean and tight for a live

  • any one no what dvd this is off of

  • Firehouse was and is still very underrated. Great band. Keep rockin'

  • This song is from 1991's 'Firehouse' album. NOT 1994

  • Firehouse is a bunch of cool rockin guys they have rocke since day 1 and they still do keep rockin

  • Man love this song!!

Cj and leverty are the best:D

  • Ahhh Firehouse...Loved that band back in the 90'ies..

Their two first albums ROCKED!.. the rest they have made suxx big time..

Live they always suffered for only having one guitar in the line up .

  • I have all their albums, including Prime Time, and I think they're very good. Maybe they're not classic but still good anyway.

  • 1994

  • what year is this from

  • Firehouse rules!!!!!! Who cares what they look like. Good tunes are good tunes. Keep Rockin'

  • Fricken balls ass rock all the way. FIREHOUSE RULES. These guys were in their prime in this video. They look like grandparents today.

  • Ohh this brings back the memories!! I was in high school when this was hot. It is hard to believe that this is considered classic rock now. When the fuck did that happen? I remember this like it was yesterday! LONG LIVE 80'S HEAVY METAL! Great music Great Melodies and a whole lotta fun. Too bad it is over.

  • They totaly ROCK, and if avengedlabialfolds dont agree with me, fuck off!

  • LOL!!!

  • fuck these dudes make it look soooo easy!one ov the few bands ive not seen live av they ever played in england??

  • 5150UK - You are so right!! I was just at that part when I read your post. I wonder if that was intentional or not. Regardless it was totally cool!

  • Awesome, tight performance :)

You gotta admit that the bridge beginning at 1:06 does sound extremely like the main riff of 'Shout At The Devil'.

  • crazy ass live performance.. just imagine being there to watch it live

  • been there done it , they are amazing , ive met the guys , they are great guys too

  • The most underrated band ever!!!!

  • CJ Snare's voice is incredible. A great guy in person as well

  • So damn good live... unreal. Great musicians. Singer is spot on note for note.
