I always liked Baltimore's front four from their 1975-77 playoff run. Messrs, Barnes, Dutton, Cook, Ehrman , brought alot of pessure and grit to the table for Colt foes then. They didnt get a lot of recognition as the Steel curtain,or even the Orange Crush in their conferance did, but they were every bit as good as they were underrated.
BTW if you ever watch the Top 10 shows on the NFL channel, they refuse to give kudos to some of the games top performers from this era. Most accurate passer: Ken Anderson. One of the highest per-catch averages: Isaac Curtis. Best D-Linemen of the era: Randy White, Curly Culp. Ray Hamilton, etc.
Rick Upchurch belongs in the Hall of Fame even though special teams performers such as himself and Billy "White Shoes" Johnson are overlooked by the voting commitee. Randy Gradishar definitely belongs in Canton, but the loner the delay, the less likely he is to be admitted for induction. It's really too bad.
#57 Tom Jackson had penchant for big plays, stayed on his feet, hit like mini-tank, & chased down backs. He slipped blocks masterfully & exploded off the ball. In Jackson's twilight years, he had the outside spin stunt down pat, could still drop back on pass defense, & overmatch a back on blitz

I don't think the committee will forgive White Shoes for going to Montreal. Upchurch was Devon Hester before Devon Hester.

@fatcatsathat. Condolezza Rice dumping him really curtailed his career.

That TD by Lydell Mithchell was very impressive considering he did what he did to legendary Broncos Louie Wright and Randy Gradishar.
