Yes, this one was manufactured sometime between 2004 and 2007, I would guess. They no longer build the High Output models. They make the SHO models, lower horsepower for smaller yards, but the new large models are the Optimax models.
Last time I checked, they don't put an 8 horsepower engine on them, the smallest in Optimax they build is the Honda 9 horsepower. The largest blower they build now is the 14 horsepower, that has a Subaru engine. I own a 9 horsepower Optimax model. I love it!
