  • possibly effective if people acually held a gun that way lol

  • Each martial art is a language. Each developed in the context of its own culture and challenges. Each art came up with a way to deal with what it was facing. There are some concepts easier to explain in a different language.

MMA has evolved around the rules, but it's hardly a joke. Different situations need different arts. I want to know Judo/Aikido working in a mental hospital, in a knife fight Arnis, and systema as a police officer. Different focuses for each based on what they deal with.

  • ahh, if i had a penny for each time MMA is brought up in comments on videos featuring any kind of martial arts. too much tv time, not enough time with the punching bag. it is well to remember that long before there was anything like MMA, there were thousands of years of clever, dedicated people figuring out how to fight -- all over the planet. so, can we please drop the whole MMA thing, like it was some sort of golden standard? 'cause it isn't. it's just what the tv feeds you.

  • 一擊必殺 !!

  • @FABG3807 Write only in English, please.

  • Hello, I have a question which I am curious in. How come aren't there any of these badasses in MMA and Free-fighting. Is it the rules? and since you can do no-contact why arent they kicking ass in the ring. Kind Regards, Luca

  • @LucaWebdesign Hello Luca, the reason is that MMA is a full contact sport - in life survival situation there are unforeseen circumstances like: weapons, multiple attackers, and much more...when did you see a professional bodyguard enter MMA competition - everything in this world has a place and a reason...Oleg.

  • @SystemaSpetsNaz So, that means systema, can take more challenging situations right? if weapons are involved, multiple attackers, should it not be easier to take out 1 guy in the ring? I am interested in taking classes in my country. I am just asking, no disrespect :)

  • @LucaWebdesign why dont you ask the same thing to american green berets, why dont they go into the ring? even they they might not know no contact they definately know how to fight better than MMA fighters. Why? because they have better things to do then be used by some greedy punk that wants to use their talents for a personal gain. just one of many reasons

  • @LucaWebdesign One hit kill !!

  • I wonder how many of the ppl questioning this technique have ever practiced gun disarming at all.

  • the reason this works is because the avge time it takes the brain to process something and tell the body to react to it is 220 miliseconds. so these people train to attact a enimy and disarm them in less time than it takes their brain to react.

  • i am really interested in these moves , i've trained a lot of diferent martial arts for atleast 1 year each and i am trying to combine best moves out of ive learned

  • That strike with the pistol hand looks vicious.

  • You need to be close to do it. Every smart attacker armed with a gun won't get so close or else what's the point of having such a weapon.

  • almost all idiots with guns try to get closer and make u get scaried. they know that being far from a victim it's a lose, coz they are under drugs influence. almost all criminals are sure that they will never have resistance from a civil. i'm not talking about special forces against some trained terrorist group. almost all terrorist are stupid...

  • @TransAmDrifter Well, there aren't many smart attackers, just look at the ghetto >.>

  • woah... that speed is... blinding!

  • I would really like to learn SAMBO!!!!!

  • that's possibly the most brutal and dirty martial art on the planet

    i like it.

  • From this angle it looks as if he really broke his arm.

  • Thats bad ass its like Krav Maga israeli style, this is used if someone points a gun in your face and wants money or just want to kill you, not if u breach a room and run up to him its not a fucken game MTheChiller, but this style and Krav Maga, look very intrestion something usefull not like Kung fu show or karate kicks, this is the real deal.

  • i'm totally agree. KM and other reality based system like this really work in modern time. but the true is that these styles are showed by military personell. difference it's made by person not by style....

  • i dont think that you have a chance to shoot if he does it like he would in real combat. imagine this techniqe in the moment when you enter a room and he is behind the corner ;)

  • Ruskies!)))))))))))))))))))))))))

  • fuck krav maga and fuck the Americans marine core martial arts programme. the Ruskies have this one

  • May respect be shown to other cultures, though disagreed.

  • he hit him in the face with the gun hehe

  • That was fukin mean!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if I were the shooter, the second I see a hand move...BOOM. There's not much you can do. Im not gonna say that I have experience in it, but it seems logical to me. I might be wrong, who knows

  • Policemen know that even with perfect technique the gun will shoot... it's all about the bullet not going through you that counts...

  • @dufffalbag

In martial arts, you're trained to come up at the gun from underneath. Like he does in the video. This is supposed to make it much harder for the person to see your strike.

  • damn i didnt even seen what happen

  • awesome

  • For training purposes...why the hell would he break the guys arm? wtf.

  • he did didn't he

  • I like this a lot

  • move so smooth

  • what stop him from pulling the trigger once he grabs the gun? Looks like a good way to stop a knife that is if you can even grab some ones wrist while they are holding a gun or knife?

  • He turns the barrel away, so he don't care if he shoots.

  • you nooblet the finger twisted in the finger lock would break your finger preventing fire

  • if you can move the action of the gun over 1/16" backward, the firearms is out of battery (incapable of firing) , so it can't fire, even if he does squeeze the trigger, since either A: internal safetys prevent the gun from firing, or B: the firing pin can't connect with the pimer of the cartridge.

  • pwnt

  • fucking great. but you need a strong arms to do such a madness... i'll go get some iron :)

  • dude, this is sick!

  • It`s real.

  • holy shit that was so fast... unbelievable

  • Unbelievably fast.

(that arm seems to be broken, btw)

  • no it just bends really wier... nah its broken

  • Tod bad, my father does the same stuff, even worse than that. It's true:)

  • Nu i durak(fool)!=))))

  • that was the most applicable thing i have ever seen from systema

  • You are absolutely right FoOji. I do demonstrations all the time and one of the most commonly accessed points people bring up is that they could just use a gun. Because of this I actually have to use a gun to show how slowly the mind reacts versus sudden movement. I like to bet the demonstratee that all he has to do is get a shot off before I make contact with him and he wins. So far no one, even trained gunsmen, have been able to pull it off.

  • dude! did he break his hand. in slow mo his wrist looks messed up

  • hehe, damn it does look fucked

  • no he don't break his hand

  • what happens to it then? it looks weird

  • it's a fake hand. LOL

  • Like the person wouldn't shoot when they see your arm coming towards them.

  • que rapido la cago

  • Damm it seem like he broke his arm!! WTF

  • ok people if the dude without the gun grabbed the gun with only one hand, then wouldn't it be a quick reaction to easily pull it out of his hand and shoot?

  • If you watch what he does with the other hand, he strikes the wrist area at the same time twisting and releasing the weapon from the hand. Even if the person does pull the hand back - the hold is broken by the strike, plus the attackers reaction time will depend on level of training and experience handling the weapon. If you wish to learn further let me know, Oleg Spector - USA Rep./Instructor.

  • @SystemaSpetsNaz yeah but isn't that extremely risky? I mean aren't you supposed to take yourself out of line of fire first?

  • @theoak111 If you look in detail - the gun was turned away before the strike.

  • @SystemaSpetsNaz - yes but if you clearly reach out for the gun, the fraction of time to pull the trigger is much less than him just not shifting his body before turning the gun. Goodbye chest, arm, or camera man.

  • @ntse91 thats not your fat americans' ass deal! lol!

  • @ntse91 the bald guys a pro,checkout the other SpetsNaz vids..the blokes a machine..

  • ciekawe w ile zwali konia! ;d

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA. That made me laugh LOL

  • lamperoneagain: Viking; your comment has no sense!!??

  • save those comments for ur religious arguments this is about martial arts not violence thats easy

  • ha smack him with his own gun, i hate when my lips get cut on my teeth.

  • What they train is not what is trained in speznaz, not even every speznaz is trained to the "true sambo" combat sambo, sambo spetznaz systema- they are all the same roots but Speznaz is only the marketing name in this case. You wont find the true sambo elite on the internet. but this stuff is good too

  • hehe! i hope i join Spetznas some how.

  • Notice how in slo-mo he first turns barrel away from him, and only then knocks it out. Nice.

  • Russian military art and fight technics are the best and the most frightening in the world. remember that.

  • @lethalgoregrinder Trust me, I'd rather fight a man from the Russian military than a lot of things on this planet.
