  • @ussike30 Overloud Keygen aswell by Team Air hahahah Glad I'm not the only one cracking stuff hehehe

  • they get the kicks to sound so filly and nice. whats the tip behind it?

  • @TheWalfrid Many tricks, using a good compression settings, using the appropiate kick for your song... using mid/side tools instead of stereo tools..

  • @pytoche ok , there should be a tutorial for showing it :)

  • @TheWalfrid of course... but... what software did you use?

  • @pytoche i use Ableton live 8 using EQ and sometmes i use 2 kicks no more then that.

  • This is amazing thanks

  • just learned a few useful tips about arrangement which is my weak point in production, nice 1 :D

  • @rayzer1981 me too :/ I'm good at making sounds but when I come to arrange the track I suck

  • can you go into where it all began, what equip you used in the old studio etc.. and how Synaesthesia came about, which synth you used to create it back in the 90s?

  • Whats the name of the track

  • Super job !

  • It's nice to see someone else using Cubase. I pick Cubase over ProTools any day!

  • I just now thought to ask. For one, what are the shortcuts you used at 4:15 to nudge the event? And how do you make that precount area visible? Your help would be much appreciated.

  • @mesaoneCCK search nudge in the key commands search box, should be listed - and if its not, set it yourself! :)

  • what sort of time is spent on a full track?

  • really good videos.

Do you still mix OTB using the Ghost?

  • Great Vids. I would also like to see the processing that is done to get it to where it sits. Yea yea I know use your ears, but its nice to see what others are doing and gives us a better overall understanding.

  • very helpfull especialy that part, with that ferry corsten remix ..

it shows how he aranged the track.. i mean is like a really helpfull hint

  • Awesom Stuff! Thanx

I would really like to see how you build your bass/kick with EQ and freq. spectrum, compressors and limiters to get that great sound in the lower freq. Love your work!

  • Nice Steve, I didn't know you were on Cuebase

  • oh my dogfucking god how many tracks is it in the sequencer? like 50 at leastO:O

  • Great video!! When will we see episode 4? :)

  • Thanks :)

  • I like how you took a different track and lined it up with yours to show where the intro ends, where things drop in, etc etc. Pretty cool.

    Thanks again Steve.

  • Nice one, great videos. Fantastic to see all the gear, and also comforting to know that not everything comes from a Virus (they really break the bank!). Would be great to see more about your side-chaining set up: What are the best compressors, good general attack/release sustain settings. Cheers, Rik

  • and Ferry Collab... What does it mean? mmmh?

It's great to get all the little tips and tricks that are used in great tracks but don't you really notice :)

  • Awesome stuff!

  • Thanks for this, massive help so far. Keep them coming!

  • I totally agree with what the guy said below. EQ TUTORIAL!!!! Good stuff anywys

  • Hey Steve. Awesome videos, very informative and quite generous considering your stature as a dj/producer. Most guys on your level wouldn't do this, and I commend you for it! A suggestion for future shows: could you do an eq'ing tutorial, like how you use eq to filter out and balance all the parts of your tracks. I never see any tutorials on this subject, and I find it very interesting. I'd like to know how heavily you eq and if you prefer subtractive vs additive eq etc etc etc. Thanks m8!

  • There is something quite interesting on his Desktop: "Album - Work on" ... it would be so great :)

  • great stuff, do you ever work with Logic?

  • Excellent. It's something a lot of producers ignore like he suggests, as well as tutorials by other artists.
