  • You spelt Burqa wrong you dumb beaver...

  • Another error of many errors in Islam is the belief that a man can have more then one wife. Jesus taught that if a man puts away his wife for any other reason then unfaithfulness and marries another he commits adultry, Jesus also said that a man can have only one wife. He also taught that God hates divorce. so why do they say that Mohamud is a prophet od God when his teaching directly contradicts God's word, wich by the way they(muslims) do call the bible God's word.

  • I am a non-Muslim woman living with Muslims. I am teated as though I don't exist at best, contemt for me is palpable. I you consider racism to be a group feeling superior to all others, then my experience has shown me this is a very racist group.

  • a muslima without her burka in public feels like for a women in west when she walks nude public.

  • you should look at nuns silly haters

  • marry marry,you have no respect,you asshole!

  • @StygianOwl No, we wear the burka for modesty. Don't pretend you know something when you obviously don't.

  • ahahahahahaa! its so funny....but its the truth. lets not defend islam the religion of bullshit....hello?

  • @Lemon020202 Really? Islam the religions of bullshit? Seriously? You couldn't even be civil and kind on YouTube? I don't go around calling your religion the religion of bullshit so don't insult mine.

  • Racist. Jealous of other women because they have beauty to cover, unlike you! =)

  • @ZaeemIslamSoldier

Since when is Muslim a race? Did I miss anything?

  • @cryfreeedom That's all I ask.

  • @cryfreeedom Theres many motives out there. Some are purely by accident, such as a mistake in someone's driving that kills a passenger etc. But religions themselves don't order murders to happen. Islam has the same 10 commandments. so does Judaism. The ones who order the violence are the interpreters that are extreme. Like the Pope, or Bin Laden.

I just want you to realize your misdirecting your hate at Islam. Islamic religions did nothing to you, It would be the people themselves.

  • @cryfreeedom Because Christianity had a peaceful intent at first when it became a religion. Then It became a violent and misguided religion.

  • @koji8123 I digress. Are you implying that Islam came about with a violent intent? If you would open a correct history book, you would find that the Muslims were persecuted when the religion first began. Not the other way around. Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings be upon him) preached peacefully to the point that he and all of his followers were forced out of their . How is that showing that the Muslims had a violent intent?

  • @iyah101 you misunderstand my text. I claim that Islam came without intentions of violence. Very few religions come with the intention of violence, such as say, the cult of Westboro Baptist Church.

  • @cryfreeedom Islam is peaceful. In the same sense Christianity was peaceful. Extremists from both religions cause bloodshed.

  • @cryfreeedom Fuck religion in general. Why does it even matter how it all began in the first place? You should be doing your part to help humanity in general. Cure cancer. Do something. Being Christian, Islamic or Jewish.. none of that matters. Christianity does as much "stealing and murdering" as the Islamic religions. Or does the Crusades not ring a bell?

  • @cryfreeedom

    CHRISTIANITY = LIES

I don;t even have to stretch the page for that one.

  • burkas and rag heads should be banned in europe..as well as paki dress ...

  • @slazzer145 Any reason why you feel the need to limit others liberties?

  • not funny

  • I don't think people understand the definition of racism.

  • yea man try again later most of people try to distortion the Moslem's picture but they failure :D

  • Now all you need to do is burn a quaran and you can join the KKK

  • Also, we Westerners believe in the right of comedians to say rude offensive things. We let them say such things about Christianity. And we deny your right to tell us to stop making jokes about burkas, niqabs, men who three wives, the Quran and Muhammad.

Freedom of speech is an important part of what we believe in.

  • @BritonsStrikeHome

Yepp, and no one will ever STOP you.

    - I disagree whit what you say, but il defend your right to say with my life''

    NOTICE THE DISAGREE

I have the right to hate what you say, to demean it, to ridicule it, to question it, to dissect it and all its possible meanings.

I have the right to think anything of that message, however I don't stop you from saying it. Nor as you will not stop me from commenting about it.

  • I am willing to respect all Muslim beliefs except the Quarnic belief in jihad, the Muslim to conquer other peoples.

You have no right ot believe in that.

  • I live in Tunisia ( a 98% muslim country of 10 million )

and I don't know a single woman who wears a Burqua or a Niqab here

all what exists here is Hijab and no one is forcing women to wear them

Everyone have 1 wife or 1 husband

You guys are doing the propaganda and you are the ones believing it. It's like when some1 believes its own lie.

Come to Tunisia and interview any1, white, brown or black, ever1 is equal here. Come and see how women r living with ur own eyes

  • hey guys please respect our believes as what we do to yours

  • lol

  • Greeat if it was a parody.

  • Here's a question for the stupidass walking tent (woman):

you're familiar with rickets? No? A bone disease caused by vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D is synthesized photochemically in the skin, by sunlight.

Brain-dead muslim women (like this 'thing') promote congenital bone diseases

  • :| Not really funny because most of us aren't 3rd wives, aren't oppressed, work, actually talk, and have lives....

Why don't you actually meet one of us....

  • i dont like thes

  • burka's in Egypt??? wow thats new...

  • Right on! Those poor women are in prison and denied their god giving rith to have enjoyment! I thank our heavenl parents everyday that they had spared me from being one of them!

  • @000mich000 ME GUSTAS POR QUE ERES DIGNA DE TU RELIGIÓN ME INSULTAS SIN CONOCERME FALTA QUE ME AMENACES DE MUERTE NADA MAS RELIGION DE PAZ ALLAH EL PIADOSO Y MISERICORDIOSO.SALAM MAYLEKUN

  • Why don't they have teddy bear and macdonald designs on these burkhas?

  • this's supposed to be funny? any clue what's that whore's point?

  • @sauduk no idea. he/she is such an ignorant.

  • Shit

  • the middle east has a disgraceful outlook and respect for woman...i pity the intelligence of the men over there and im male

  • live and let live

    cut the crap

  • OMGosh people. Lighten up, you all watch other videos on youtube about people hurting each other, killing animals, fighting, crude humor like Family guy and southpark, sexual explicit material, and in many instances violence toward children.

So, when one person decides to do a spoof on a webshow, and brings in a Muslim tradition/practice, you suddenly feel that it's racist and wrong? Grow up!

You're as bad as the Muslims who got mad at Southpark for their Muhammad skit. Seriously. Grow up.

  • This is very very racist. Wow Mary I always watch your vedios but this time you pushed it too far ..............

  • @Pali701 Are you a ninja, too? Goodness, I don't understand why all these ninjas are getting so offended! But, I like this strong woman, who knows what she wants. Love you.

  • @MerryMaryTravelogues, Common Mary why would you call them Ninja's I am not a "ninja" but it is very offending becuase its very racist. I believe that everyone has the right to do, dress and believe in whatever makes them happy. so why do u care so much if someone wants to cover their face ?

  • @Pali701 For the record, at the time that this video was created, there was a very popular series called, Ask-a-Ninja, where a guy answered questions... face completely covered, blah, blah, blah. We have done many spoofs on this show (spoofs of other webseries, specifically). This episode is a spoof of @askaninja. LOVE YOU.

  • @MerryMaryTravelogues either you say something good or you dont say anything at all. your so ignorant and have bad false opinion about islam obviously. i hate you and i hate when people try to make fun of islam build up on their ignorance you ignorant ignorant.

  • @Pali701 HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF HALF A DOZEN GUYS ALL DRESSED TOP TO TOE IN WHITE, WALKED EVERY DAY DOWN YOUR STREET, ALL WITH DIFFERENT BELIEFS TO YOU.

SOME EVEN APPOSE WHAT YOU YOURSELF BELIEVE IN. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL

  • @jewdicater I would be like, "Oh, okay, that's fine. Tons of people have different beliefs than me, because no two people are the same it would be impossible for the entire world to believe one thing." Your point proves nothing.

  • @iyah101 Thats easy for you to say. Most Christians are not racist. I bet you have loads of christian friends.

thats nothing to do with the way you act, that;s to do with the way Christians act, and welcome you to their land. Now if a white Christian walked down any street in the middle east, ( where your fore fathers lived) they would tear him apart like the wild animals they are. So now what does my point prove. That Muslims are a bunch of Racist animals

  • @MerryMaryTravelogues >>> This girl is not Muslim. You whatever Cristian and Zionist think u have changed a lot in your identity. You and your churches changes everything you had before for just to make money and enjoy ur life. The women before in church I saw wear hijab even when woman merry in church but look now how much changed you have.

I am not saying Muslim didn't change, but we are trying to be away from evil practice. Look all craziness found in your culture now a days. Look around.

  • @MerryMaryTravelogues. Yes Mary like Pali701, I also perceive it racist somehow. You know you have freeexpression but that doent mean that becuase of free expression you can call someone a

    "nigger".

  • @MerryMaryTravelogues. Yes Mary like Pali701, I also perceive it racist somehow. You know you have freeexpression but that doent mean that becuase of free expression you can call someone a

"nigger". Specially when it is a group being discriminated at this moment arround the globe. Like one day blacks and jews were persecuted.

  • @Pali701 Racist? When did Islam become a race?

  • @samuils Could say the same thing with the jews

  • @dubmywub Well, Jewish is a Nationality, Judaism is a religion, however, Islam is a religion, and Arab is a race. Or you never heard of Arabs? Or say anyone else under Islam? Islam is NOt a race. Nor is Christianity, and Judaism is not a race either, so is there a point in your reply?

  • @samuils im agreeing with you mate.

  • @Pali701 racist???? that's REALITY you moron

  • @Pali701 Where do you see racism there? She is white so the racism thing can't apply (we all know why is that), she is just covered up and making same statements from her life. It doesn't even say she is a muslim, or an arab, or a jew or whatever. So how can you call this video racist when you can't link her with any race?

The real problem is that what she talks about is true and applies in every muslim country and now, thx to the internet, we all know about it and that drives muslims crazy

  • @Pali701 OH get a life....its the truth! Why are you so anal....? why do you defend oppression for women. shut the fuck up its a free country! Don't like it get the fuck out.

  • @Lemon020202 Look, I'm a Muslim, I cover, and I can proudly state that I am completely and utterly NOT oppressed. No one has ever oppressed me in my life and no one ever will. Please, I have more self-respect than to let someone oppress me. I cover because I want to; not because some douche thinks he can make me.

  • salam alaikum

  • This is a bad imitation of a niqab, not a burqa. Your ignorance is insulting to non-muslims.

  • @adulth00d Imagine how the Ask-A-Ninja guy feels!

  • @adulth00d I agree

  • What the hell does the pyramids in egypt have to do with gulf women loool ROFL :D :D :D

Only gulf region women wear this. plus gulf women are intelligent & smart & have freedom of choice! I mean don't they have a choice to be dressed more than getting naked! I mean women in the US have the right to be porn stars why don't people have the right to be virgins & pure & abstinent.

  • Do you have one for your fannys as well?

  • LOL! :)

I get you - but remember our "cousins" in the US of A use the word FANNY for there ARSES (asses!) not their vaginas.

  • Sharia law forces women to wear the burqa whether they wish to or not. Its true that some women dont mind wearing it, despite it being uncomfortable in hot weather, unhealthy because it prevents sunlight reaching the skin, a barrier to communication because people cant see your face etc. Perhaps they only say they dont mind. It is interesting that although Sharia law insists this garment be worn, there is nothing in the Quran that would seem to justify it.

  • @archdeaconj

I have tried to figure out what this SHARIA LAW is for the past decade or so.. till now I have not found actually what it is except for an ABSTRACT..

i have asked 1000s of these guys to tell me the exact defination.. but no one can!!

  • @archdeaconj goddamit.. u people just throw at islam without knowing anything about it... first... women dont have to wear those... just dont dress like a whore.. and dont show any thing that would turn men on... just as protection for them..... and its only infront of strangers....

  • @mcdudly00 Never mind 'you people'. You cannot deny that at least some interpretations of Sharia law require women to be totally covered except for eyes (which some consider the sexiest part of a woman, but that's by the by). You say, 'just don't dress like a whore'. Are you saying every Western woman is 'dressed like a whore'? Are you saying every woman in hot, tribal parts of Africa is 'dressed like whore'? Anyway, shouldn't it be the woman's choice how she dresses?

  • @archdeaconj dude... get the idea of depressed women in muslim countries... there nothing like what you hear... go there and check if u dont belive me.. and no im not saying that every woman in the west dresses like a whore.. thats what you think about what we think ...again... and yes a woman have every right to dress the way she wants but why the hell would she wear a mini skirt or something if she not looking for sex..? and no sharia tells women to cover them selfs exept hands and face...

  • @mcdudly00 Hang on, you said, 'women don't have to wear those [burqas]'. But they do. In some parts of Afghanistan even the chadri has to be worn. This is worse than the burqa, for even the eyes are concealed with a net. So do you think this state of affairs is acceptable or not? You say you do NOT think women in the West (forget miniskirts) dress like whores. OK, but why, if Muslim women were dressed with the same freedom from restrictive clothing, would they be 'dressed like whores'?

  • @archdeaconj first of all in afganistan they wear it as tradition .. not because religion tells them to....

why did u get the idea that i said they dress like whores..... the point of wearing those is to keep assholes eyes away from women... its just not worth getting raped after all is it? i mean ... give me a reason for a drunk guy to sexualy harras a woman in the street?? why cuz shes putting a niqab on her?? and btw muslims girls arent so moral either(not all).... especially arabs...

  • @mcdudly00 If women want to wear the burqa of their own free will, fair enough. I think it's anti-social, but OK, so what? By the same token, if women wants to wear mini-skirts, who am I to complain? What I am against is women being forced, either by husband or state or religion, to do so. AAre you saying that when they're FORCED to wear the burqa, as they often are, when they have no choice in the matter, it's perfectly acceptable?

  • @archdeaconj GODDAMIT MUSLIMS ARE TERRORISTS AND MEN ARE RAPISTS AND WESTERS GIRLS ARE WHORESS@!!@@!!@@!!@ JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!@!@!@!@!@

  • @mcdudly00 Crikey, there's no need to get hysterical! I thought we were having a rational, civilised debate.

  • @archdeaconj its not by pointing each others weaknesses cuz its just dumb.....so im trying to make point from the whole thing..... but getting angry and acting human is savage so its not about what were talking about .. but talking it self..... sssooo im out i guess cuz ur wasting my time...

  • @mcdudly00 I'm wasting your time because I don't agree with you? Yeah, right. All I am saying is that there are women all over the world who are FORCED to wear this awful burqa thing (that is simply a fact) and it's outrageous. Women should have freedom of choice in the matter, and not have to submit to the will of others. Incidentally I do NOT think Muslims are terrorists - that's ridiculous! I say: respect other cultures - except where human rights are concerned.

  • @archdeaconj no... its cuz u asked me 10 times... women wear it because there used to it ... and yes.. i know there is so much violence in there but its not only from mens side...( and btw the sharia law tells women to cover there bodys as a protection for them... and in fact forbids hitting women for no reason, and its isnt ok if u hit her even for a reason)

    any other questions?

  • @mcdudly00 I didn't ask you once, never mind 10 times. On the contrary, I'm TELLING you. Sharia law (as interpreted by some, though not by all) FORCES women to cover the whole of their bodies whether they want to or not. That this is 'for their protection' is irrelevant. It is their lack of freedom of choice that is morally wrong. It is I who must repeat myself, for you have not addressed the issue of coercion at all.

  • @archdeaconj and for the 4th time.. i tell u.. its a fucking tradition.. and before bieng a smartass and talk about the only perfect law in the world...go learn about it....saying that it forces women to wear it just because u think so never makes it like that... and seriously if u had a chance to go to the middle east.. go to some market districts... some houses and ask girls who wear hijab if they chose to wear it or not..... dont reply unless u do it cuz i wont reply if u say bullshit again..

  • @mcdudly00 Here we go again! Some people are just incapable of debating without making personal remarks. Calling me a smartarse etc. is not an argument. You may wish it were, but it's not. Wearing the burqa is a tradition, yes. I don't dispute that. So why repeat 4 times something that I accept? And it's not the hijab were discussing, it's the burqa! What I condemn is the ENFORCING of the tradition. Where it is not enforced, I have no problem.

  • @archdeaconj ... dude what do u want

  • @mcdudly00 Just a rational, civilised debate.

In parts of the world, for example in Saudi Arabia and in southern Afghanistan, it is compulsory for a woman to wear the burqa, and there are penalties for not wearing it. Firstly: do you agree that this is so? Secondly: do you agree with me that it is morally wrong?

  • @archdeaconj GODDAMIT MUSLIMS ARE TERRORISTS AND MEN ARE RAPISTS AND WESTERS GIRLS ARE WHORESS@!!@@!!@ JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!@!@!@!@!@

  • @archdeaconj The Quran doesn't seem to justify alot of things. Same witht he bible The bible never said black people could be enslaved, but in some way some retard still claimed it did, and black slavery finally had a justification...

  • Because there is not such reason!

  • @ liketoserch

You do realize that that is an obvious "I have nothing that can convince you to say" thing to say?

  • she is typical of a woman who is frustrated and enraged by her own society.

  • Look who is talking!! LMAO..plz just shut ur ugly hole!

  • What an intelligent comment!

  • I have no more to say to ignorant ppl and y the hell would I want to be checking on what stupid comment or question you have...I can spent more time on my famly and educating ppl who want ot learn about the real Islam and are not poor in inteligence?? LMAO go get a life!

  • You have no more to say because you are incapable of functioning outside a small circle of people who all happen to agree with you.

  • LOL again look who talks..You can only repeat things others have said and most of the comment I have read from you on others acounts etc are all SAME LAME POINTLESS AND STUPID AS U! Ugly plz leave me alone and stop following me, ou are starting to get in my last nerve..Ugly and stupid are very bad combo =P Shame u are also OLD and still my 6 year old son sounds smarter than u =)

  • Of course you think your 6 year old son is smarter! He is male - you are taught to believe that he is superior. After all, when your old husband dies, he will be in charge of you.

  • lol and who is "in charge" of you? lol. Just because she is a Muslim you have prejudices against her which you thought of before knowing the first thing about her. This is why you ARE a fascist.

  • Again, I urge you to actually discover the meaning of that word. Like other western women, I am in charge of myself. And since she is incapable of constructive argument without resorting to personal insults not even worthy of a five year old child, it's clear that her indoctrination has had an adverse effect on her mind. Wrapping her head in black cloth hasn't exactly made her pure in thought and deed, either, as I have evidence of in the obscene private messages she leaves.

  • The most offensive comments have been from you. SHE IS A WESTERN WOMAN!!!

SHE IS WHITE CAUCASIAN AND just because she is a Muslim does not make her eastern. This is why I said you are bordering racism. You think a western person can not be a Muslim, I may not be white, but I am western and that person "liketosearch" is WHITE Caucasian. Can you not see your fascism yet?

MUSLIM women also can make their own choices and are in charge of themselves.

  • Are you saying that racial heritage is the most important ingredient in someone's psychological makeup? Really - that is extremely racist! It doesn't matter what gene pool she belongs to, her thought is not western. The west contains people of all sorts of genetic backgrounds, and when they live by "western" ideals they are called "westernised", in popular parlance.

  • lol, so the definition of being western is anti-islamic? hmm. wow.

A Western person is a person who is from the west, especially a person who is of the indigenous population of the people of the west (if you want to be really specific) now that includes Caucasian Muslims, like it or not.

  • Are you incapable of discussing without hiding behind the concept of racism? yes, western though is diametrically opposed to the practice of making women cover their faces in public. However, thanks to the same love of freedom, you have the right to practice your faith here - which does not, I am reliably informed, necessitate shrouding your women.

  • It does not necessitate them it is their choice, I said that before. As I said, when the west was in its dark ages, Islam was starting womens rights and the right to vote and freedom to a religion and all the freedoms we today take for granted., The west only got this later.

Western thought is opposed to this? According to who? Do you dictate what western thought is? no. Just because you believe that a woman shouldn't cover her face does not mean that she shouldn't have her own choice.

  • You are NOT western! At no point in the history of western culture has anybody found it necessary to make their women hide under a shroud in public. Female beauty has always been admired and displayed here, not smothered. If doesn't matter if you are dayglo orange, and the other loony is blue-striped, neither of you are western.

  • LOL. Wow, you know nothing of history, before the 1900's all women covered their head and before that they covered their hair. Why do you not read history and pretending you know it?

Secondly, this shows your fascism, I can not be western according to you because I am a Muslim, if that isnt fascism then what is?

Thirdly I do not force women to wear what I think they should, they should wear whatever they want, however, YOU want to FORCE them to wear what YOU WANT.

  • u really have a capability of functioning with other people by calling me non-british and telling me I should leave my own country.

  • I have no desire to "function" with people who find it necessary to smother their wife in a sack before she leaves the house. The fact that you need to do so is totally "un-British". Anyone who seeks to impose their religion (or "promote" it, as you put it!) is obnoxious. If you want to integrate, then integrate - by not dressing to draw attention to your difference. And making a woman wear a bag over her head isn't "faith", it is fancy-dress.

  • lol. Here comes your foaming and ranting.

MY WIFE (you dont get this do you) wears a veil from HER CHOICE. She is not "required" to do so by me.

I have never "imposed" my religion on others, I have however promoted my religion because I believe it is the truth just like anyone who follows a religion or any belief. The Quran says "there is no compulsion is religion" so I follow that.

We do integrate, but why should a woman not be allowed to wear what she from her own choice wished to wear?

  • What to you suppose is the purpose of facial expression? it is communication. There is no "integration" with someone who wears a shroud. It is done as a demonstration of seperation, to avoid contact. No, not "everyone" who has a faith "promotes" it. That, too, is a demonstration of difference. I have said as much to people of other faiths who attempt to "promote" them. It is an arrogant imposition to assume that yours is the truth. There are as many "truths" as there are people in this world.

  • People whose faith is real, don't need to dress up to demonstrate it. If they are good, kind, tolerant, friendly, honest people, that is the only demo necessary - it shines from them without the aid of fancy dress. I have known only two people like that in my life - true "men of God" if we take "god" to mean what is best in mankind, not the public ranting of a doctrine. One was a Catholic, one was Muslim, but their chosen religion was the last thing anyone could have guessed.

  • why do nuns wear a scarf, why do priests wear a robe, why do choir boys wear a robe, why do Jews wear a skull cap, why do Rabbis wear a robe and special clothes, why do sikhs wear turbans, why do budhists wear orangey robes?????

You dont rant about that but anything relating to Islam but not any of the above if it is truly religious attire which you oppose?

  • If it is arrogant to say that your belief is true then why do you believe you are upon truth and refuse to read the Quran?

  • Why should I read a rambling religious text? I don't happen to find "God" in the words of some old dead fart. It's a book - nothing more. And the world is full of fascinating books. Why don't you put down the Koran and read some of them? There's a whole world of creative thought out there, you know. Every single person who allows themselves to think beyond indoctrination is worth learning about. who knows? you might even find your OWN way, instead of sinking yourself in someone else's.

  • lol, you prejudice is amazing, just because I read the Quran you AGAIN ASSUME that I read nothing else. I read many books, including the bible and Baghvadh Gita. Oh and secular books, I am reading "The Plague" by Albert Camus.

Dont prejudge. I don't see what you would lose in reading it? I mean you speak about it so much and think you know what it says and I guarantee you it does not say what you think it does...

  • and you are assuming I haven't read it. A long time ago, I also needed to cling to certainties, so I read every religious text of every denomination I could lay hands on. But - they are just that. Texts. God, for me, is everywhere - in nature, in children, in a smile from a stranger, in art, in the fact that I would inexplicably risk my life to safe that of someone I don't even like. Creation can't be put in a box or confined to a particular doctrine. When you are older, you'll understand that

  • lol, here comes the "I can not win this, so I will use my age" lol. Why can you just accept that you opposing my freedom to practice my religion is fascist?

Or dont accept that, just read the Quran and I will be happy if you gave it a shot

  • Is that what your Mum does? :-) You didn't read my previous comment - perhaps you've also been told that you don't listen! You have every freedom to practice your religion - the tolerant people of Western Europe have ensured your that right, and fight to preserve it. Have you never heard the phrase "I hate your beliefs but i would die for your right to hold them?" (said by a Frenchman, actually!) but shrouding women is NOT part of "faith". It is an abuse and a means of distancing.

  • And MY belief is that religion is a matter for the individual - to live and experience life in a particular way. it is not a social club, where those who hold membership are privelaged. The only certainty other than dying is that you were born as a completely new person - utterly unique. There never has been, and never will be, a person exactly like you, inside or outside. So in submerging yourself in the beliefs of others, you are denying the only thing that was given to you at birth.

  • Which I believe as well, however for you to force this onto others is wrong just as it would be wrong of me to force a woman to wear a veil? no?

  • Shrouding a woman should never be forced by any man however as I said, if they wish to do that from their own choice then let them, that is all, didn't the 60's tell you that.

And a very cheap jibe there, I will try and rise above it.

  • And by the way, without wishing to seem patronising, you are exactly the age when people need the sort of certainty that total mindless submersion in a doctrine brings. Do you know the peak age for joining religious cults is 23? I am old enough to be your Mum, and I can tell you, the older you get, the more you will realise that there is no "truth" - scary as it seems, the only "truth" is that WE DON'T KNOW. But maturity will also bring you the acceptance that life works anyway.

  • So you are fascist and ageist? You think that just because of a fact which you have dreamed up along with a Muslim council and a poll taken from every westerner, that makes me a nutter? You should then listen to my mum, or my grandmother if it is age which is your issue. Why do you not consider their beliefs as mature and only your thoughts as mature?

  • Oh, good grief, you silly boy! How many more "isms" are you going to concoct, simply because someone doesn't agree with you? No, you are clearly not a "nutter" - and I never said so. But you ARE very young and at your age, people attempt to cling to certainties. How do you know what your mother and grandmother believe, in their heart of hearts? do you think they tell you everything? Don't judge them by outward conformity - you'd be very surprised at what goes on in the heads of those women!

  • I actually have a very close relationship with both of them and that is why I mentioned them. She has her own vision of Islam and the world and my grandmother has a different vision and I have a different vision and in our house you have a buffett of differences of opinion, however we all get along. Just like I and my Christian neighbour and my other neighbour who is atheist.

What someone believes is not my concern and neither my prejudice. I love all God's creation, even you believe it or not

  • Its just sad that you are assuming that because of my age I can not be speaking sense but rather my emotions are in charge of me. I am 22 actually and as you may have gathered married and I have a gorgeous daughter :D

What bugs me, is that you keep calling me non-british and fanatic, non-integrating, enforcer of his own beliefs onto others and a woman oppressor. I am none of them and if I have gotten slightly ticked off in all of this it is because of being labelled a monster when I am not

  • I have also been 22 with a gorgeous daughter; who is now older than you! You are the same age as my youngest child. so as much as anyone can stand in someone else's shoes, I've stood in yours. If you were my own age, I would say you were a bigoted old fart, but you don't come across as that. you come across as an impassioned and thoughtful young man who is trying to make sense of the world around him in the light of the most awesome experience in life - being a partner and parent.

  • Well at least we have some things in common. I suppose what you said is a compliment so thank you.

I still believe that there can be no harm in you giving the Quran a quick read.

  • do you EVER listen? READ MY COMMENTS BACK!

  • You said you had read it, but you didn't say if you had read the Quran itself and what level of depth you had read it at.

  • I have read everything I want to read from the major faiths I investigated (Christianity, Buddhism and Islam.) I found lots of things I could go with in Christianity, much more in Buddhism, practically nothing in Islam. And I suggest you read the works of Jung. Very enlightening. Now, some of us old gits are knackered. I hope you will stop drowning yourself in "isms" and indoctrination - you've clearly been given a good mind, and the real crime would be to submerge it. It's there to explore.

  • ok, but please do reply to my quote from Corinthians before you go...and also, why do you not add me on msn its better than a 500 word comment on a youtube video

  • here's one for you - "the pharisees" (the religous orthodox of the time" are but whited sepulchres (containers for the dead) who are outside pure, but inside are full of every filth, and place upon people burdens too grievous to be borne." Nothing much changes in the wonderful world of opressive religion, does it? it's the greatest of human failings and the cause of most suffering, both physical and psychological.

  • OPPRESSIVE religion, yes very destructive. Any kind of oppression is, including secular wars which claimed the lives of more people than religion ever did (eg WW1, WW2, Iraq, Afghanistan etc etc)

Yeah I've only passingly read of the pharisees I'll be sure to check it out along with Jung.

  • Actually, Hitler was a Catholic and his troops went into service with the words "God is with us" inscribed on their belts! He tried to woo the Pope into supporting him against the Jewish menace and the Muslim hordes in the east, but the Pope told him "the swastika is not a suitable device for a crusade."

  • If we start to discuss this we will be here for another three hours. If you wish to continue our discussion then by all means add me on msn or whatever, drop me an email and I'll send my add to you. Hardly any point of talking in this weird 500 character box.

  • check your private messages.

  • @mymagnoliatree you are a moron with no concept of history. first, read aristotle. second, hitler preferred islam to christianity, just read what he said about the battle of tours

as for this hijab bullshit, its a stupid practice period, and i wouldnt make the mistake of validating anyone actually in support of this, they dont deserve a civilised argument

i dont understand why western nations havent already banned this without so much of a second thought when theyve already abolished slavery

  • and by the way - be grateful I remain polite; the last Jehovah's Witness who came to my door was told to fuck off!

  • well I actually call them in and they have stopped coming every weak., lol. I hardly think I ought to be grateful to you, lol, I think it is human nature to explore each others beliefs and talk.

  • where trying to create certainty out of mystery becomes a danger to yourself and others is when it leads you to accept things in people who belong to the same club which are actually unacceptable, and when you feel you need to look different in order to express your faith. If you have read the BIble as you say, you will have come across the part where a man is talking to Jesus about those who make public displays of religion.

  • The bible also says, Paul says "The woman who shows her hair in public, shave off her hair"

  • which is proof that people who submerge themselves in religion are very dangerous. Paul was a woman-hating old shit-bag. It is also why during the middle ages, people were prevented from reading the Bible in their own language. As soon as they could, they realised that 80% of it was a load of bollocks. Just the same as your own religion. People should just be nice to each other, as much as possible.

  • See everything you say is your opinion, I like many Christians reading this would again resent you saying that it is a load of bollocks. If you don't like it fair enough but to just say things like that is not in the interest of humanity and the coming together of people

  • There are as many opinions as there are people in this world, and the religious have their social clubs which spout their crap for them. I spout my own, which is my hard-won privelage. The days are gone when "heretics" could be persecuted, dear! And fanatics find simply the existence of beliefs other than their own to be a reason not to "come together." they only want to do that with their own kind.

  • And that is a reason to unite and fight fanatics not to be brainwashed into their fanatical opinions.

  • You do not unite by dressing in a uniform. Uniforms are for armies - they mark territory and make an individual a faceless member of a particular creed. Now - shaddappaya face! I need some sleep.

  • But before I finally shut my cake-hole, remember one of the most influential men of the 20th century who, when told he should support Hindu against Muslim because that was the system he was born into said "I am a Hindu, a Muslim, a Christian, a Jew. I am a man!"

  • 1 Corinthians Chapter 11 Verse 6:

Indeed, if a woman does go out without a veil, she should have her hair cut off or shaved off, then she should wear a veil.

  • yes, as I have said before, people IN THE EAST had some weird ideas about what women should and should not do. Luckily, that never caught on in the west.

And if you are trying to make this sole kind of argument between Christian and Muslim, forget it.

  • If you actually look at the history of Britain women covered their hair when they went out and it was therefore a western idea. Even videos exist today of women walking around with little head scarves and generally every inch of their body covered.

    A weak argument.

  • It's pretty scary - especially when you realise how fragile that little life is and how precious and inexplicable it is that she is who she is. You are seeking something to provide explanations for everything, but that's just not in our power. Actually, clinging to certainties is pretty false, because life doesn't happen that way unless you force it to - and who are you to do that? and in any case, you can't alter the big important stuff.

  • well that is your belief system and I respect that, I would obviously differ on some points, but its not like we're here to convert each other, lol.

I will give my daughter an absolute freedom. I mean, I would explain to her my beliefs and fully allow her to explore others (just how I did when I was 16/17 but that is a long and different story, lol). if at the end she chose to wear a veil I would hate it if someone told her that she was backward and oppressed by man etc (if it were her choice)

  • What ever!! what low minded ppl.

  • Why would you not answer, it's a simple question?

  • liketoserch is clearly actually clinically insane. You can't expect any sense from her whatsoever - just ravings. I have had really obscene comments from her. It's what you would expect from a woman forced into an arranged marraige.

  • u r clinically insane. u think that a person who chose a religion is clinically insane for doing so but you (mymagnoliatree) who thinks she is the Queen of England and has a right on who lives in Britain. You cant comprehend something through your very limited fascist brain and your narrow Hitler like sentiments will make you more arrogant.

  • You're beginning to foam at the mouth. We have an old English saying "the apple never falls far from the tree." You're showing your true nature more and more with every posting. And please, do take the time off from ranting about your religion to learn the meaning of the word "fascist;" By the way, don't you have a job to go to, at your age? Or are you living on benefits?

  • You just showed your fascism again, lol, you believe that because I am a Muslim I am living on benefits. lol, have you used my channel to decide that as well? I invited you to come and look at the life I live and speak to my wife and look at the work I do against extremism, but you are too stuck up to do that and believe that four videos promoting my religion speak about who i am.

I am actually a freelance web developer so I work from home. You are so pre-judgemental and mental

  • No; I believe that since you clearly live online, you must be claiming benefits. You are at university and you are a freelance web designer? I hope you are declaring all your income! and again, please look up the definition of "facsist"...
