  • @bushcrafter740 as a comparison I performed the same test with the coleman pot using my Brunton Talon butane burner. It accomplished a rolling boil in 4 minutes and 50 seconds. It also heated the pot handles up so that I required a rag in order to remove the pot.

  • @bushcrafter740 Well, I tested it the best way I could. Using the largest pot in the Coleman Max "single person anodized cook set" in conjunction with it's lid; (800ml) I achieved a rolling boil in 8 minutes and 34 seconds. The little stove continued to burn for a total of 11 minutes and 16 seconds. I'm sure there is some sort of crazy math to compensate for the missing 200ml. Hope that helps some lol.

  • @bushcrafter740 I don't know...after I re-drilled the top holes it works much better. I will have to do an official test tonight and get back to you. I wish the mess kit lid had a center pick-up hand so I could keep it covered, it would boil much faster that way. I might try some foil...

  • Awesome!!! Bored??
