  • If this 'fire triangle' works, then all that's necessary to pass your driving test is yourself, a car and a copy of Gran Turismo 5, or all you need to become a rock star is yourself, a guitar and a copy of Guitar Hero.

  • 6:30 I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF

  • 2:58

    wow

he has a lot of pubic fat

  • ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME TRAIN OUR BRAIN TO KILL PEOPLE?!?! IS THAT BITCH REALLY AS FUCKING IDIOTIC AS SHE LOOKS GODDAMN I HATE STUPID,IDIOTIC,DUMB,IGNORANT WASHINGTON FUCKS

  • @Hambythenightwalker Not sure if trolling but sure, I'll bite. I don't agree with this way of thinking, I'm a gamer and damn proud of it. But shouting, All-caps'ing and insulting does not help our cause. On the contrary, it kind of gives people like them ammo to say that people like us or who disagree with their views are a bunch of ignorant, violent, illiterate people.

  • I don't think that there is a connection between regular people playing video games and committing real acts of violence. I think 9 is a little too young for a kid to play anything graphic, but I don't think it is right to attack anyone who thinks otherwise because it isn't anyone else's business but the parent.

  • well LOOK at that fat fucking LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That lawyer is a fuck,

  • I Blame dumb ass parent buying their kids games they shouldnt have. When im playing online the last thing i want is a ateam full of a 10 year olds.

  • Chris Cooney looks like a hillbilly hick who doesn't have a high school education, but feels that he is the smartest person in the world. lol

  • Funny statistics

    More violent video games-

    Less teen violence

    More Porn-

    Less rape

  • The lawyer does realize that playing a videogame inside an MRI is impossible, right? Big, spinning magnets that can rip pieces of metal out of your body are not so tolerant of hard drives or metal components.

  • Sorry for the typo, *mental.

  • In my opinion the age rating is not to be measured in a physical way, but in a meantal way. If your kid is all very mature, doesn't go ALL CAPS RAGE at everything and is all polite and everything, it's fine to buy him a +17 game, because he knows what it is and how to react to it's content. But what this also means is that parents need to get some brain. You have to get to know your kid. I've played +18 games since like 11 (I'm 16 now). Because my parents KNOW me.

  • I remember how every time i played Mario i wanted to go apeshit and smash bricks with my head and step on mushrooms and turtles and throwing fireballs after eating a flower!!! LOL

  • Charles whitman is a bad example considering he had military training so he wouldve learned to kill.

  • 2:49 .... I just lost my appetite. Yikes!

  • "this is something i made up" damn straight made up!

"video games train kids to react aggressively ALMOST automatically" I LOVE qualifiers.

In the same way listening to this chick makes me practically, maybe, kinda, almost want to rip my ears out and shove them down her throat so maybe kinda very few people will ever hear her again.

  • "And I believe that _" "Well i believe _" Thats nice. No amount of your belief, makes what you choose to believe A FACT.

"9 year old brains are in the process of moving into the most important developmental stage...needs to be doing other things". Ah yes. Video games are brain wash. But teaching your kids politically correct flawed logic, twisted ideals, religion, ignorance, prejudice, homo phobia and all the other petty things you don't like is WAY BETTER for them to learn.

  • WHOA! A simulator automatically fully teaches me something and makes me want to do it?

Wow! Im going to watch a "how to make a 4 cheese lasagna simulator (tv show)" omg i can barely finish this comment im already preheating the oven! Be back after i make 50 of these!

    STUPID FUCK WADS.

"And what we can do about it" JACK SQUAT

  • If we dont want to expose our kids to excessive fictional violence for fear they may turn into psycotic killers why do we make them read the bible? Isn't there a whole shit load of blood, gore and violence there as well? They only want to ban activities they themselves dont enjoy, fuck what the kids want.

  • @davidsfriend01 They don't give a shit about anoyone else's beliefs, if you don't fit in their tiny fucking niche, you're a sinner or a homosexual communist or whatever.

  • If there's one thing GTA3 taught me, If you kill the hooker you get your money back!!! :D

  • um i play these games and i 13 and do i kill people? no!!!!!!

  • well of course you don't buy grand theft auto to a 9 yo.... you gotta be at least 10 yo

  • We feed our kids fucking poisons like energy drinks and tons of drugs for their behavior! FOR FUCK SAKE i seen a pill on TV last night for kids to take on top of their fucking anti depressant! WTF!?!?!? FUCK OFF!

  • It's proven that games makes your mind better

  • I don’t agree that violent video games turn well-adjusted children into mass murders but that isn’t the major argument. I think the issue is that sociopathic, depressed, anti-social types get their aggression out with these games. In some case the game isn't enough and they take it to the next level. Like the computer programmer said, the games act as simulators that desensitize these types of kids and give them the feeling that they could go through with it in real life.

  • @SabrinaKristina1

Also in my opinion, whether it effects them or not, I don’t think anyone under the age 13 needs to be playing with such graphic images.

  • Maybe the only reason why thompson protest is because he has a shitty Mac... and can't play any games?

  • Being playing pacman for a while...

I wanna eat some pills now... maybe see some ghosts

  • 1:10 Are you RETARDED?

  • at 6:04, why is the former marine shooting a.c. slater from saved by the bell? lol

  • jesus, the fat bloke who dont like video games looks like the guy who the south park boys battled on warcraft!

  • come on, most people who play FPS don't even know how to switch a gun off safety. Gamers know that video games are fantasy, so what's the hype about the video games causes violence thingy?

  • whats the game at 7:39

  • notice how everybody who opposes video games on the show is a white, well to do, asshole who thinks their shit dont stink.

  • I guess kooney or whatever the hell his name is doesn't understand that mankind has been doing 3 things since the beginning of time: war, fucking, and eating, and it looks like he may be involved in one of those three a little too much.

  • you know if that kid shoots up a school some day that would really blow this whole episode to hell.

  • Violent video games, especially the military-themed kind, can give children skewed perceptions of warfare. Warfare is not a game, it`s not fun, and you don`t get a second life. But of course video game are going to skew reality---they are fantasy! Teach your kid the difference and I don`t see what the problem is.

  • Ironicly today there exist medical video games where you do operations XD

So selling them does work. but not as well as FPS

  • Wait, the CIA doesn't think that games cause violence? I trust the CIA, because they work with intelligence. *Double meaning*

  • FPS games might actually teach us a few good things. After all, a lot of them star war heroes. I'd even say a few of them (like Adam Jensen) are excellent role models. Let's also not forget the RPGFPS games, like Bioshock, which I consider to be gaming's holocaust museum (Ryan is a lot like Hitler and Stalin. Being able to recognize people like this and the damage they cause is a life skill that few have) Is bioshock training us to kill Hitler? Perish the thought!

  • To be honest, I really don't think giving certian M-rated games to (most) 9-year olds is a good idea, simply because they'll probably act like the fat kid at the begining of this show. Frankly, if you're obsessed with the idea of grabbing a gun and going on a killing spree on defensless people (even virtual ones), there's something a little wrong with you. Plus, you'll be real annoying in the online world... Not to say that games desensitize them to violence.

  • I don't agree that video games make kids go on a killing spree, but I agree that the most violent and graphic games shouldn't be sold to kids - and that some parents should get a brain.

  • @patu8010 Define kid. Below 10, pre-teen, teen?

  • @AKArainkit What I mean is, don't get an 18+ game for a 14-year-old or something.

  • @patu8010 Ok, ya.

  • @patu8010

Instead of games, parents should quit spanking and abusing their kids, that would help a lot more than M rated games.

  • @teawead Sure. But that's a completely different matter.

  • @patu8010

My point was, some kids go to gaming to vent out. Or just enjoy themselves, you know, as social life isn't that stimulation anymore. Well, not every gamer. I'm a gamer myself.

  • dayum.. i need to get one of these games....

  • i've been playing FPS games since UT99 and i still don't know how to reload a gun. these people are fucking delusional assholes.

  • btw. im a troubled kid. i kill about 500-2000 people a day in mw3. im extremely nice. i would never hurt anyone. less they hurt me or family first.

  • @killerbob6250 2000? really?

  • lol that would actualy be fun! running around slapping sick people with my magic wand....

  • Jack....stop feeding the muthafuckin fish.

  • I think violent video games are a great way to vent anger. Punching a pillow just isn't the same as pumping 250 digital bullets into a digital enemy/character. If they really want to see an increase in teen aggression and violence, then go ahead and take away their means of venting that pent up anger. Little Timmy Johnson will just have to vent his anger in the form of a shotgun blast to the Bully's face!

  • 'I don't think shooting people should be fun.'

Fuck no, it isn't, anyone that think it is is a sick, disturbed human being with a lost sense of empathy for their fellow man. But shooting polygonal people is damn fun. I've been playing violent games at a very young age and I've still got very strong morals and ethics. Only people that already have a lost sense of the difference between reality/fantasy will be influenced by games, but they'd be influenced by something else if not games.

  • 2:10 I believe he means GMILF

  • i play shooters all the time but i just play 3 hours or 2 every day im not aggresive

  • MAN, WHAT A GILF. I couldn't stop laughing for about 5 minutes

  • BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!

  • this is bullshit, that picture 3:39, that picture has nothing to do with video games, that picture is a complete different story( if you want to know the story of that picture type in youtube columbine shooting)

  • GTA 4 IS Educational... It taught me how you get in trouble with the SWAT team when you kill 300 some odd people... Now.. If you'll excuse me, I have to go ride my flying tank now.

  • Playing Donkey Kong as a kid made me wanna climb ladders and jump over barrels!

  • @bradjbourgeois73 Follow your dreams, little man!

  • In part 1 I thought P&T were calling video games bullshit! Sorry for misjudgment!

  • It's funny that Combat Arms was showed alot in this show XD free to play game.

  • the ppl that wanna ban theese games are fucing stupid it not gonna make us more aggresive if anything it a fucking stress realief

  • @AKAcolide and then you go on an actual killing spree.

  • @superdude4380 are you not acctualy watching this its even proves its not true games do not lead to violence

  • The Medic disagrees.

  • Tell you what. you can make more extreme laws to stop kids playing violent video games WHEN you stop kids being exposed to religion. The bible is quite violent to AND you want us to think of it as FACT

  • Wait a minute, that guy at 8:28 looks like Albert Wesker ¬¬ I can see the conection now.

  • of course Videogames train us, gamers, for real life, endless hours of playing Zelda games have me more than ready whenever that wizard boar attacks =D

  • "building social skills doesn'y happen when you're glued to a screen all day" funny, i thought xbl, psn, etc. were COMMUNICATING systems or whatever...

  • i love black ops. just dropped 32 kills 4 deaths on wmd, with only ballistic knife and tomahawk, until i got the huey. funny, ive never stabbed or tomahawked anyone, let alone shot em from a helicopter

  • Stupid motherfuckers these days...the game isn't the problem. Its your parenting ability. Stop crying for the government to do everything for you and get off your fat, lazy ass to parent your kids if you are so preoccupied with this notion of games turning people into monsters. Remember back in the day when people actually watched their fucking kids? Here's a fun fact, you stupid fuck nuts: more than 60% of people in the US play violent games. Why are they not all murderers? FUCK you're dumb.

  • That fat guy with the pony tail is butt hurt about shooting because he had some bad experiences in Nam.

  • 3:55 Solution: inFamous

  • M means mature. That's why there are ratings.....

  • More of a reason for those shootings to have happened is that those students were bullied by some jerks then that they played an fps game...i play fps games too, doesn't mean a mass murdering psychotic freak waiting to kill people with guns. Sadly, the stupid kind of americans can't seem to see reason. Besides, those crimes only happened where? OH YES,THE US. Ban guns then you f-ing morons. Problem solved.

  • i know ppl who play video games, they have never gone out and shot up crowded shopping centers or schools.

  • Oh goody gumdrops! This makes me really want to buy a new game!

There are a lot of tings that can cause desensitization like media, movies, and games

  • As long as I can play violent video games I have absolutely no reason to be violent in RL.

  • Wait you mean.. i don't get points for shooting people in the head in real life?

  • Jack.. Stop feeding the muthafuckin fish.

  • fucking twinkies

  • I hate violence in real life, but I love to shove a knife through someone in video games. I'm totally anti-war and anti-gun, yet I love to kill people in video games. Do explain this you anti-video games, anti-fun bastards (not penn and teller, the fuckers like Clinton).

  • "It's a shame they can't be running around finding sick people, hitting them with a magic wand that healthy ... like that would sell!"

BOO! Actually it DOES sell. Guess how many people play World of Warcraft as healers? :D

Point being: violence is not the only thing that sells videogames these days. Gamers are too sophisticated for that; they also require good storylines, directing, characters etc. Like in movies.

  • I'm surprised p+t made a logical mistake in their dismantling of the fire triangle. The fat dude was saying that these 3 elements add up to cause an event. They showed that the event can happen without those elements. Doesn't argue against the fat guy at all.

  • @hungrytomato Actually, it does. The man said that the three things are ~required~ for the event (using the example 'fire iff fuel + oxygen + ignition'). By showing if even one of those events isn't present, but the event itself is, it demonstrates that the 'iff' statement is false. It doesn't address 'violent VGs increase the risk of violence', but it does removal it as a requirement.

It may not be the guy's stance, but it was his argument by implication of his comparison.

  • As a teenager, I broke into a car by pressing triangle the other day.

  • it was thew fucking twinkees that did it

  • They should be more worried that they should have a more story and thinking, by promoting those type of games. Censoring something is shit!

  • i can play cod, but i have no idea how to fire a gun. it isn't going to teach me crap. the only violence i feel i could pull off would be towards these stupid fucks that think it makes people violent, but then i'd be proving their point.

  • so one episode speaks about how sex is bad, this deals with how games are bad, what is left for fun?

  • I play 12 hours a day, I'm fine!

  • that fat man is stupid. healing does exist in many games. heard of medics in the military games dumbass.

  • "The part of the brain that leads to copycat behavior."

Yeah, right. Is that next to the part which Facebook rewires? Or the one which makes people stick carrots up their nose?

  • Holy jesus that´s a fat motherfucker. wonder what he did to get that fat.

  • it's more like toubled kid + uncaring parents + problems fitting in.

But why take responsibility when you can just find a scapegoat?

  • go on Harrison. go follow that strange man into the forrest to shoot guns. ! LOL!!!!! =)

  • Guy is absolutely right look at the kids today they are violent America future is in the toilet

  • Video games don't influence human behavior. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some puppies to kick field goals with.

  • @KawaiiKemonomimi I blame that violence on Fable and kicking chicken in that game ;)

  • Comment removed

  • I used to think video games induced violence. Then I took a.....

    You know what, fuck it.

  • Fuck they should also play God Of War 3...Sex, violence, breasts, and ripping people in half....ALL IN ONE! :D

  • I blame the toothpaste.

  • @TheSillySils quiet you don't want the members of the crest conspiracy to hear you

  • @ziggieboi1995

Grandma I would like to fuck

  • Hey I am as gun fanatic as anyone and am from the north no southern accent here y'all lmfao

  • gilf?

  • ok who likes gears of war.... its 3RD PERSON!

  • gilf lol

  • I would've loved to hear Penn & Teller's reactions when they found out Jack got disbarred after this episode was made.

  • Cooney has a penis under all that gut?

  • The excessive F.E.A.R. in this show makes me happy...

  • 6:45... Dr. LAWRENCE KUTNER IS DEAD YOU RETARD! HE SHOT HIMSELF. (before some retard misses the joke, I'm making a joke)

  • what game is that at 2:35?

  • @StonedReviewer F.E.A.R., then Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway

  • "It's a shame they can't be running around finding sick people and healing them with a magic wand or something" Hey, I play a priest in WoW that's pretty much what I do.

  • @longbluefingers so they can kill other players right?

  • I've always wondered how they get these experts to agree for the interviews if all they do is rip on em.

  • Sick of all the religious nut jobs poseing their values on everyone, Religion is the biggest farce of all time.

  • Why does every gun fanatic have a southern accent?

  • i've been playing violent videogames for years like gta, bia, cod but i've never had the thought to go on a mass murdering spree..why/ cuz i'm a sane person!!!

  • mebbe someone can explain to me this. why are cops not killing the people who go on a rampage. is it to slow, do they not get a chance, is it law?

  • what a gilf! haha :)

  • There's evidence in the people who play the games. I've been playing shooting games since I was like 5 and I never get any thoughts or want to act out the things I see in the games I play. These people can shut the fuck up!

  • 03:55 that's what medic class is for

  • man I've been playing violent video games for years, and I in no way desire to act out what I play. I think we're intelligent enough to differentiate reality from fantasy

  • What's up with the triangle? If the child is already troubled the videogames are not the problem. He just refuted his own argument.

  • parents blame violence in games causes violence in real life, but first of all why the fuck would you buy your 10 or even 13 year old kid a violent video game? assuming the events in this show are happening only in USA which has the lowest internet piracy rate in the world, then you could mostly just buy a game from a store or make an online purchase, so torrenting them from piratebay or isohunt would be very unlikely, they want to have a scapegoat for their bad parenting.

  • man what the fuck is up with these vid suggestions??? is this what youtube is becoming under goddamn veoh?? i miss google.

  • Everything those people said is true I've been tryna kill a dragon and save the princess since ''96. Dumb bitch keeps getting caught though.

  • What I wanna know is what parents buy their 9 year olds games like GTA and CoD anyway? When my kids were that age I bought them the Simpsons and Super Mario.

  • Why are there dicks and vaginas in the related videos?

  • @dYnom88t77000 yeah what the fuck not trying to see that shit

  • @dYnom88t77000 because the guys on this video are usually dicks and umm vaginas im not sure :)

  • @dYnom88t77000 because the suggestions are aimed at demographics based on your viewing history. sex, violence, video games... the finer things in life.

  • @dYnom88t77000 Probably because jack is an ass.

  • @TheJo4an hahaha I see what you did there

  • The truth is that blaming video games for violence is just an excuse for bad parents who cant raise their children

  • I have a weiner dog that has no balls !

  • I agree that it isn't the best thing to glorify violence, but we've been doing that since before digital entertainment. There were gladiators in the colosseum. Hunters and soldiers have been glorified in history as far back as we've had written evidence to prove it, and probably much further still.

  • jack stop feedin the muthafucknfish

  • "Columbine massacre" yes, they may have played violent video games. But that was not why they shot all their school peers. One was a Neo-Nazi self-hating destroyer of humanity who hated everyone, even his supposed buddy he shot everyone with. The other was a social outcast who had no friends and wanted revenge for being treated like dirt. No video games were an influence on those boys. Not one game.

  • games dont train me to respond violently automatically. i play battlefield and cod and i've never injured someone intentionally before

  • Whatta GILF

  • MUST KILL JACK THOMPSON, thanks to my impressive shooting on MW3 i can do it now, video game violence is AWESOME!

  • People just don't understand that there are no violence in videogames. There are owning noobs and failing not murdering and dieing.

  • I find it offensive when people use Columbine as "evidence".

And, by the way, I've been playing violent games since I was 4 years old, my first FPS Shooter was Doom 2 and Hexen, and I've only killed 8 people.

    Never got caught, though.

  • Harrison's older sister is kinda cute.

  • I love how he takes the "Fire Triangle", and totally ignores the "troubled child" part, let alone the fact that violent videogames could have their spot replaced by, oh, I dunno, ANY COPING MECHANISM EVER.

  • @ 3:08 He needs to go back to school "If you don't have all three of thoes, you don't get fire" sigh.............

If you take either one or two of the three sides out of that triangle you still wont get a fire. This is where his comparison to his own triangle is seriously flawed.

Take away the "mass killing sim' and you still have a troubled kid killing with guns. Take away both the troubled kid and the sim and the he will still kill; not all murderers are mentaly disturbed.

    Dumbass

  • Lol the reason crime has gone down is because potential criminals are busy acting out their fantasies in a virtual harmless world instead of killing people.

  • My cat play fights with me but that just makes me want to pet her less

  • That marine is cute!

  • I just love how they only forcing on FPS :)

  • social skills dont happen if you are glued to a screen?

the only time i get to talk to my friends is on the PSN hahaha
