  • god the amount of silly gadgets english riders put on there horses for training and breaking is un real, it is un neededm we break horses for rodeo but they are started as hack horses, we use a halter and lead rope and saddle thats all when we put a bit in their mouth it is a full cheek snaffle with no nose band

  • i got two questions:

1: are these bridle's sold in the Netherlands?

2: the bit doesn't hurt the teeth and the tongue anymore, but there's more pressure on the nose. is that painfull for the horse, even though the strap is attached higher on the nose?

  • wow, I didn't know about thos nerves coming out just under traditional nosebands. I've never liked drop nosebands because I've always seen it as strapping the mouth shut, but now I think I might just try this out. If I can find one here in norway . . .

  • if you use this as a bitless, where do you attach the lead? , to go riding bitless ?

Thank you for great product !

  • I hate brow bands though

  • I would love to know more about it, price etc... Brilliant for people who would like to give the horse a bit more variation and comfort.

  • That big grey horse is absolutley gorgeous!

  • it's amazing ! If i ever buy a horse, i buy this for him !

  • @FloDINGES same here!

  • I just bought one of these bridles, and I use a Mickmar bit which the cheek pieces are sort of shaped like a pelham. Can I use the clips to protect the bars of the mouth with this bit? I noticed them only showing bits like egg butt snaffles, loose rings and dee ring snaffles, but the pony in the video with the pelham did not have the clips

  • are you alowed to compete in dressage in this?

  • Nice! could be a little disturbing to have all those little peaces laying around, but I´ll get one for sure. :D

When i get a horse that is.

  • this is so amazing!

can you showjump in this? i'm training a young horse for jumping and this is his first and only bridle, i dont want to change it because he works so nicely with it, but obviously i'll have to if i cant compete in it? x

  • Yes you can use it in British Dressage - being mentioned in rule book as allowed for at least 2 years. You have to use an allowed bit with it though i.e not bitless

  • Nice!

  • I LOVE IT AND I AM GOING TO GET ONE!!! its so simple very stylish and also kind to the horse :D

  • My horse is very happy in this new bridle. He is an OTTB that I rode at the track, and we retired from racing near the same time. He has always had a soft mouth and while at the track trained in a rubber snaffle. I just had a sense that he was happier when I rode him in his halter. He, however, began to turn away when I would go to put on the other bitless bridle. I now see that William Micklem discourages using the mildest bitless options in open spaces, we haven't had a problem. Wonderful!

  • Can one use this bridle at a dressage competition...?? It i GENIUS!!!!

  • looks great, and i'm very interrested, but can any one explain to me, how do i know wich size i should pick.

my horse is always between cob and full.

Are there any known measurements about this bridle?

  • Wow that's an amazing product! This should be more known and used by people!

  • Can you show in dressage with this?

  • I have one of those and absoutely love it it even fits my draft horse who is so hard to find any thing tha fits I use it bitless

  • Very good explained!

    Thanks!
