  • The title of the song "Vocea" means "voice" in romanian. But the rest of the lyrics are probably written in a nonexistent language.

  • They mostly sing in their own language called Cirquish. Francesca Gagnon who sang Alegria confirmed this in an interview.

  • This Language is Cirqesh. Cirque du soleil wanted the music to sound Nicely done!

Siempre he querido saber que dice. Cualquier ayuda, eternemente agradecido.

  • i think cirque du soleil use roman as language...is read it someone...i think ..i´m not sure...forgive me when i´m wrong

  • No cirque de soleil is FRENCH!! Just look it up

  • @hieiJaganshi800 The title is, but it was founded in Canada, and the music is rarely ever one solid language.

  • Cirque du soleil does have its own language made up which is a mixture of various languages, but i detected the language and it says that most of it is Serbian.

  • ElDuardy:Nope it`s not romanian.

  • Cirque du soleil base alot of there music in there own made up language called "Cirquish"

  • I read it's Albania.

  • This song is in Romanian.

  • I love the song and this is my favorite segment of the show. Definitely.

  • if i am not mistaken isnt it in latin?

  • No, it can't be.

  • most of the songs in cirqu are in their own made up langauge. i think that makes it ten times more beautiful

  • Yes, it's really beautiful. but, could someone translate me the lyrics to english please?

  • To my knowledge Vocea does not translate into english. It is a song that just ment to sound pretty not have some under lying meaning. But that is to my knowledge i could be wrong.

  • "Vocea" it's a romanian word and in english means "voice" :)

  • the songs from cirque tend to be better live :)

  • Yeah, I LOVE this song, but when I bought the album, it was a different version :( I want THIS song, this version!

  • this may be a stupid question, but what language are they singing in?

  • "The language guesser"

    leads to the following results:

    Italian .............. 325

    Rumantsch .............317

    Slovenian-iso8859_2 ...317

    Czech-iso8859_2 .......304

    Slovenian-ascii .......294

  • @amadosaurio I can guarantee there is no Italian in it :)

  • it's a rumenian slang (i can guarantee it is NOT italian :P) in fact, "Vocea" means the voice in rumenian.

    aaaaw,this song makes me dream...

  • Imaginary language and a mix of real languages which is the Cirque's language "Gromolo''

  • What I don't get is how does this scene have that close up of Zara (the muse) while Anton swings by her while she is holding the feather at 2:30? It doesn't show that on my DVD, and I would love to have that screenshot of Zara.

  • Veo que tu amas est perfomance...

un gusto compartir ese mismo sentimiento.

( I see that your love is performance ...

A pleasure to share the same sentiment. )

  • VOCEA ... ( in about this video )

  • @superfreakzz Yeah, that is weird. This is the TV edit so maybe that's why it's different from the DVD version?

  • So beautiful! I remember when I saw this live, we were all blown away by his strength. And his really flexible...wow. A contortionist. That is amazing!

And the song is lovely; I have this on a CD. This version has a much sweeter sound.

  • I agree with you about both things. This version of the song is softer and goes better the act.

  • Definitely! When I first heard it on my CD, I was trying to think of which act is went with! (I don't have the DVD). I thought it might be this one, but then I remember it had a much softer, sweeter sound. But then I typed it in here, and this came up. I can't decide which one I like more, because they both sound different but are so beautiful! :]

  • Love the perfomance and the song..I'm going to see Varekai in February!!Amazing

  • Love this song, love Zara!

  • GracIAs ISmaEL pOr cOrTArlO ...
