  • sweet! just picked up a 71 800b. all original but no tanks. keep on scoutin!!

  • @joemfk1 The tanks were one of the first things to go on mine.I'll bet the plates that hold them are rotted out as well. You can get more for it, but they're salty as hell.I just have an outboard tank between the seats.Good luck with it.

  • That truck is so rediculously awesome!

  • @hougie21 It does the job.Have to get on seals and gaskets this year.No leaks, I just want to get on it before that happens.Treat them good and they return it.

  • Cool Scout!

  • @Donsfast I thank you.I didn't butcher it just for the sake of it either, just cutting off the cancer.

  • long live the scout!! don't crush'em, someone will love them just the way they are.

  • @leezwardo Ugly as it is, I love this one.I'll have it until I die.

  • I had a Scout It was my first car. It was fast and strong but the rust could not be controled

  • @ToniMattTony Yea, it's a damn shame about the way they rusted like that.I'm hoping this summer I can get a big pile of angle iron and sheet metal together and make a new body for it.

  • Nice Scout! Do you plan on doing any restoration, or is it mainly a work truck?

  • @DangerousDude2010 Just a work truck.I wish I either had the skill or money to get it restored. This thing has served me so well, if I could restore it, I'd do it without a second thought. For now all I can do is keep the drivetrain and frame in good shape.Fortunately, they don't demand much.

  • hey nice ride i think i remember driving that the other day
