the secret recipe is to use regular pancake batter and leave the lumps in then let it sit for 10 mins. I was a chef at ihop for a very long time and i have seen that food turn healthy people into fat slobs over a couple of years. ihop is poison, period. Every thing there is cooked in (LBA) liquid butter alternative. the pancakes arent made from scratch, what they do is use a hobart mixer and add 10 pounds of ihop pankake mix add 1 gallon of liquid eggs and 3 gallons of ice cold water

@nasherooni you are full of lba ihop dosent make anything from scratch, i was a cook at many different ihops and as you should know every store operates exactly the same. to evrey one who wants to know the recipe its just about the same exact thing as store brand batter the trick is to leave some lumps in the mix then let it sit for 15 mins in the fridge, at ihop the grills are set at 350 f and the cakes are cooked about 4 mins on the first side then 2.
