@elezzar For the first film the producers toyed with the idea of dubbing Doug Bradley's voice with an American actor. Could you imagine?

A German accent does sound appropriate coming out of Pinhead's mouth though. They have quite a large S&M scene over there. Or so I'm told.

there is no filmed footage of the surgery scene. Although there is obviously the Chatterer bits which we see here, so they defo need to release them as they look awesome!

@ProjectTelevision i remember seeing that on the back as well, when i was a kid...never saw the footage,though...the only clip in this video that i havnt seen was the 1 second @ 1:00 where the doors open and the chatterer is there

@Surfbat45 I read that the surgery scene was removed from all versions because the effects didn't look good enough and only the few pics of it on the net are all that remain of that scene. Shame if true because I can imagine it would be very graphic

I tried to buy this from a place that sells used movies today, I've waited for so long that this movie would turn up somewhere, but they said that they'd fucked up and given someone this one to someone who wanted Hellraiser 6 (Hellseeker), man was I pissed...

I've heard that the 2nd one is the best, and nr 6, it kinda sucks balls.

Anyone know what the real story is behind the missing footage? I've heard that it was cut for time and pacing, but also due to the fact that FX failed to work.

I dont know for the most part, the elevator was if i remember correctly for being sortoff missplaced or something, and the scene that they were dressed as docters (never any footage made but 1 photo excicts) didn't work out cuz the special effects weren't working...

one scene was due pacing reasons, the scene where the chatterer gets eyes! some hospital mayhem was deleted, as well as the infamous surgeon scene, that's what i know! would love to this all of this!

Wow, I have detected at least four scenes that were not included in the actual movie which makes this German trailer particulary rare.

The story is... those stills are the only parts of that scene that exist.

I'm surprised that the Chatterer's role was so drastically reduced and the Engineer was removed completely.

It was cut from the original version, I found that out when I was watching the dvd with the commentary. I was looking for that scene for years. Ih ope this was helpfull
