Well quarry is definitely one of the trickiest turns of this circuit and has claimed many victims... myself included.

Mine wasn't as bad as 2:31 (probably more like 0:37). I came in too hot into Avon Rise as I stupidly thought I could force a drift in a FF, top heavy VR6.. so inevitably it spun on entry to quarry and I stacked it into the tires.

Fortunately the damage was only minimal so I carried on as normal XD

I have never seen such a bunch of talentless dicks in all my life. There were no oil flags displayed so there was nothing to catch people out. OK, Quarry is a challenging corner, but this lot were just knobs. Nice to see a few ricers get scrapped. Shame about the little lotus racer getting mullered by the bread van, shame about the Triumph and the big Audi. Also, scratch one Saff. Shame.

You have a point, but misfortune and bad luck only feature in 3 or 4 of the crashes shown here. The rest are down to lack of skill, over-exuberance and sheer stupidity. No, I am not a perfect driver, but I have done enough track driving (including Combe, Donington, Oulton, Silverstone, Brands, Spa, and just over 100 laps of the Nordschleife) to differentiate between unlucky and dumb. No, I have never crashed on a track but I did crash going through a drive through once. Quite embarrassing...!
