  • All you need to know about Christ and Christianity is in this video...

    /watch?v=ljRKhZ81aqY

  • Wow, look at this; a *Christian* tattoo parlor... Hey, what does Leviticus in the Bible have to say about self-mutilation/markation??? Oh, yeah, it says DON'T DO IT

  • well since Christ died on that cross, i no longer live under the law. im sin free...called grace.. i have tattoo..has it made me love Gid even less? NO have i gone into convulsions or posessed? No. because I dont give the devil any credit, he is ubder my foot and god who is in me is above all else..so you pharisees..i ned you to stop bible bashing and going on as if we have to still live under law. thanks

  • @OhNoThanks What the Hell! So once Jesus died on the cross you no longer had to obey His rules? That's real dumb of you to say. No one said you would be possessed or go into convulsions but they are saying be careful to whoever does your tattoos because while they are piercing and marking your skin whatever foul spirit is in them can get into you or other spirits can find you. And spirits can lie dormint (spell check) in you and wont show up to later and that spirit can be anything like jealousy

  • @Bronxbrownie Before I continue let me clarify what I am not saying. I am not saying that we do not work – we actually have the privilege of doing the good works that God laid out before hand.

  • @Bronxbrownie The super good news is that grace flows to the weak areas. As Jesus said it is the sick that needs a doctor. Our own efforts of self righteousness will exclude us from grace, but a big I need help is on open door for grace to do its thing.

I go by grace not by self righteousness. This whole juju spirit talk can't touch me because Christ is above it and Psalm 91 said he commands his Angels concerning/protecting us.thanks!!!

  • stuff like that. How can you love God and not obey Him. So everything in the Bible doesnt matter? I dont know what religion you are but WOW!!!! So wrong about what you are saying if youre a Christian. So when the Bible says Thou shall not kill. You think it's okay since Jesus died so the rules dont apply anymore. Crazy! And for people who are reading this Im not against tattoos in anyway that but Christians just be careful who does them they can have foul spirits so just be Prayed up!

  • THE LAWS OF LEVITICUS DO NOT APPLY TO US. IT WAS DISCONTINUED. IF YOU ARE GOING TO READ THE BIBLE, READ IT ALL!! NOT JUST SOME. YOU CAN"T READ PARTS OF A BOOK AND KNOW THE WHOLE STORY. FOR THOSE WHO LIKE TO JUDGE.

  • @daredevil1211123 Jesus said he came to fulfill the law, not to abolish it, you fool. So does thou shall not kill still apply???

  • @melbyRick Bible also say that whom ever calls his brother a "fool" are in danger of the flames of hell. Watch it now ;) And yes but by any law that no longer applies than how can that law be relevant. & yes, thou shalt not kill applies :) So if you think the laws of Leviticus are still relevant, Then I'm guessing your hair and beard is a certain length and you probably don't eat certain meats, nor have any tattoos or piercings. If that's how you want to live my friend then go for it. Be blessed

  • @daredevil1211123 "Judge not lest ye be judged"... yeah I get it. But I don't want to confuse you, as to who I really am. So I'll give you this quote:

"The Christian religion is a parody on the worship of the Sun, in which they put a man whom they call Christ, in the place of the Sun, and pay him the same adoration which was originally paid to the Sun."

    - Thomas Paine

  • @melbyRick why wouldnt it apply?

  • @Bronxbrownie Because apparently the bible is something that people only follow when they feel like it. But I guess it's better than the alternative; all we have to do is look at Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia, to see the dangers of taking religion too seriously.

  • @melbyRick But you cant make assumptions not everybody is like that follow the Bible whenever it is convient or when they feel like it dont make everybody into one large group. But you do whatever you want to do thats up to you and Jesus.

  • @melbyRick And I was on your side until you said the whole Sun/Christ thing I meant to put "why wouldn it apply" on Daredevil211123 not yours but what I said at the bottom goes.

  • @Bronxbrownie SO you mean you were on my side until I started making sense and giving you a history lesson??? Okay then, you carry on, I guess...

  • @melbyRick Does that make you feel better?

  • @Bronxbrownie Um... sure??? I don't really know what you're all about, pal, but yeah, actually, it is a GREAT relief to me to know that God is the Universe, and Jesus is the Sun, and that they are impartial and not out to fuck with my head or send to Hell to hang out with JC's older brother.... yeah, it does make me feel better.

  • @melbyRick you dont sound like you feel better. Hope you will.

  • @Bronxbrownie Yeah... carry on then...

  • @melbyRick yup you should have a wonderful Blessed day

  • @Bronxbrownie Hey, you have a great life, pal.

  • @melbyRick Why thank you with Jesus as my homie I will. You do the same!

  • @Bronxbrownie Oh don't worry, I hang with JC all the time. We do bong-loads together and smoke DMT and blast off to explore unknown Galaxies in his old-man's back yard. We're cool.

  • @melbyRick You have issues huh? And I see that you like to have the last word.

  • @Bronxbrownie Man, you should try DMT before you claim that I have *issues*... if you really want to talk to God, you'd do some DMT. And yes, as a general rule, I like the last word.

  • @melbyRick I didnt say you had issues because you smoke DMT -thats something on its own.

  • @Bronxbrownie Hmmmm... who was that person telling me that anyone who judges his brother, he too will be judged.... in any case, I know what you were thinking. Hey man, expand your mind. The bible never said anything about Marijuana or DMT.

  • @melbyRick Yeah Im still working on the judging part God know my heart.

  • @Bronxbrownie I thought you had *important stuff* to do?

  • @melbyRick Normally I like to have the last word but I have things to accomplish instead of going back in forth with someone like you. But in all honestly have a wonderful life stay safe. God Bless!

  • If you say Tattoos are a sin do to Leviticus, and don't choose to accept that that's the OLD law that was thrown out by Christ, then you must be people who also (if your men) wear your beards long, don't eat certain meat, and I could go on and on if you follow OLD law in the Bible!!! So get over yourselves and don't be so damning of your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ!! God is love, THAT'S IT!!!

  • Leviticus 19:28 - talks about not marking or cutting your body for the dead. Tattoos are a controversial issue for Christianity. I think it depends primarily on what your intentions are and what it is you are getting tattooed. Most people idolize something by getting it tattooed. So, if it doesn't glorify God, if it's significance is not eternal or is not beneficial for uplifting the body, it shouldn't be done. However, I have 2 tattoos, both of which make me focus more on God and glorifying Him

  • @CalamityStriker See I get what youre saying thats why I am so conflicted on getting my tattoo. Because it says cutting yourself for the dead thats not what I am doing Im not doing it for the dead and Im not putting RIP etc. I want a feathered pen so I really dont know what to do Im glad you wrote this comment because I just had this conversation with my motm. She has a one and I want one but I think once I get it I will feel wrong like I know better since its in the Bible idk what to do. Thnx

  • Christian tattoo artist...

Doesn't mix "marking your body is a sin" -___-

  • theres nothing wrong with tattoos. tattoos are purely art and a form of expression. your body is a canvas and the needle is the brush. the church is supposed to be this place of "complete acceptance" and if someone has a tattoo you push them away? thats fucking ridiculous and hypocritical. plus, im pretty sure molesting young boys is 1000x worse than getting a tattoo.

  • @jamesman74 my friend shared a scripture with me stating that sin is sin regardless of what the sin is...im agreeing with you on the tattoo part just sharing what my friend told me.

  • @legalman07 thats exactly what I was told Sin is Sin

  • @jamesman74 The church is supposed to be us not the building..where two or more are gathered He is there with them. Not saying that tats are bad just making clear of what "church" really is :)

  • @jamesman74 thats society speaking though molesting and getting a tattoo is sin doesnt matter in God's eyes

  • If you're a true christian i believe you will be close enough to God to hear His voice and let Him guide you concerning this tattoo issue instead of relying on others' opinions.

  • @blcakbrid Amen to that! Each persons conviction to their own.

  • Tattoos are BAD. They defile God's Temple, which is you!! Those who say they are Christian and get tattoos, they are not truly in mind, BODY, or spirit. The OLD testament is Important as well! The entire Holy Bible is important. The NEW only gives further insight to the OLD. You can't just say "Well it was far back and those years don't matter". WRONG! Leviticus 19:28 DOESN'T refer only to the Egyptians, it refers to ALL of God's children. And if you say "NO!", then ignorant I say to you

  • @mespacetoday and since your following that particular verse, I assume you're also keeping kosher, not shaving your beard if you're a man, and offering animal sacrifices?

  • @ajdajd663 No. I can't even grow a beard. hehe. But animal sacrifices were only up til Jesus' sacrifice. That is the reason we don't build altars any more, because we are the altars, we sacrifice our lives through Jesus.

  • @mespacetoday I realize that, but the point that I was trying to make was that if you're going to be using that verse, which is part of the law, to say that someone should or should not be doing something, you should be keeping the whole law as well. Otherwise you are picking and choosing what you want to obey in the Bible or not.

  • if tattoo's are a sin then remember leviticus also says don't cut your hair or beard or wear clothing of different type lol.

  • A refreshing outlook :)

  • Old Testament law does not apply. The Old Testament is for Jews. If you are a Christian, obviously you are not also a Jew. If the Old Testament law still applies, why are we not making animal sacrifices?

  • @lukeskywakaflocka Christians do still look at the Old Testament.

  • Leviticus chapter 19, verse 28, which says: You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the LORD.

  • Why does no one understand??? "Tattooing is a sin! God clearly says no!" Then shaving and wearing cheap clothes is a sin too. He was talking about paganism. Don't feel that way? DON'T SHAVE.

  • all this talk is pointless, god looks at what is in your heart, not on your skin, and remember that NOBODY is perfect,

  • @myPlaygroundEarth yeah but thats for people who dont know better if you know better do better but if its in your heart to disobey Him then there is something wrong

  • Its all about the attitude in which you get your christian tattoo. Does anyone actually understand the context of leviticus 19:28? Go read it and pray. Christians getting tattoos that expresses their faith is not wrong by any means. You just have to remember your repping Christ.

  • TATOOS ARE TOTALLY WRONG!!! AND IT IS PART OF THE END TIME SIGNS.....A TRUE CHRISTIAN SHOULD NOT BE SEEN WITH TATOOS....MAY GOD HELP

  • @mocandiful How about you learn to spell "tattoo" before you make such a bold statement.

  • i have been noticing a pattern in the comments. people who are condeming christians who get tattoos say that sed people are ignorant. in leviticus it condems the ritual of tattoing back them honoring dead idols and drinking the blood for worship purposes. and if you read the entire chapter it also states not to eat contaminated meat(non kosher) and not to wear mixed fabrics. if you choose to follow the old testament follow it to the T.

  • @anthony01311982 I fully agree with you. I have a tattoo of the Lords prayer on my back and i try to tell other christians that theres nothing wrong with getting a tattoo. But of course they look at me like a freak lol.

  • He didn't seem possessed to me

  • Another thing. It doesn't matter WHAT kind of tattoo. These people putting "pictures" of Jesus on themselves and scriptures are still defying the Bible and God and what He says about marking yourselves and so on. We are not to make images of God at all so that in itself is also against the Word of God. What I am saying is not for everyone. It's for those true believers that have eyes to see & ears to hear. The rest tattoo themselves because they haven't let go of the world nor the demons them

  • @KakkoiGuy1 Would you kindly present the Scriptures that forbid Christians from getting a tattoo? Besides Leviticus 19:28, which after doing any research whatsoever you'll realize does not restrict us from tattoos.

  • Christians getting tattoos and Christian tattoo artist? This is a joke. These people are demonically influenced if not possessed. Tattooing is what the PAGANS/HEATHENS DID AND DO. GOD HIMSELF SAID THIS! If you are tattooing yourself and trying to claim Christ, you are deceiving yourself. As Christians (TRUE BELIEVERS..NOT THESE FAKES) we are to be SEPARATE from the WORLD. If you are taking on the culture and not changing it through the WORD and HOLY lifestyle, you are not of CHRIST. That's that!

  • i'm christian. gettin tattoos. oh yeah. (:

  • church (6) people are fake mosque (6) people are fake muslim (6)

    jehocah witnesses true christians.

  • @kierstenbree i never judged him. I judged the tattooing industry. The bible says come away from the way of the world and be separate. Paying several hundred dollars to put a cross on you're arm isn't what Jesus would do - he'd give that money to the poor. Its just wasteful and worldly.

  • @thetimothyjr2155 We cannot judge another person for what they do with their money, it is what God puts on their heart. What about you? How much did you spend on your car, your house, your entertainment, your monthly television bill... that COULD have gone to a better cause? We must ask and pray that the Holy Spirit guides us. If I have a tattoo, that inspires and touches people who need Christ, is that not a worthy cause? Just a thought.

  • @homegrove123 He claims to be a member of Christ, a part of the church, therefore, scripturally speaking -- " For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”" (1 Corinthians 5:12-13).

Judging within the church? Nuff said.

  • @thetimothyjr2155 Context is key, and this isn't a subject forbidden or frowned upon in Scripture; it's a personal choice. Helping those with physically needs is a great calling, but reaching out and sharing Christ with others is even more important, I'd hope you'd agree.

  • @homegrove123 sharing Christ is important, but this scripture (and all scrpture for that matter) isn't a choice. Its a command.

  • @thetimothyjr2155 I didn't phrase what I meant clearly, sorry. By personal choice, I meant getting a tattoo, not choosing to obey something God has commanded. Obviously we need to help correct those who are falling away (in love), but in order to "purge an evil person among us"... there has to actually be an evil person among us.

  • Nice video. I want to find a Christian tattoo artist.

  • bible humpers.

  • awesome i myself have many tattoos this is a great video

  • Anyone know where this shop is?

  • This is sad :(

  • i mean the bible also states that you shouldnt cut your hair or trim your beard but people do that also huh Leviticus 19:27

  • A "Jesus" tattoo?? u serious?? man, we are becoming like the world, representing the world instead of representing Jesus by the way we walk, talk, act and think.

  • its good that he wants to spead the message of god but i saw he had a tatto of jesus but the bible say that people should not have any images of god. sory if my english is not the best and i did not right this down to attack any man. just to spread the message of jesus also called jah that means god in hebrew

  • @tearsoftheblackwolf good luck with your tattoos

  • @tearsoftheblackwolf whatever man. your name "tears of the black wolf" says it all.

  • @tearsoftheblackwolf skulls and darkness are all associated with death. if ur a christian, anything to do with death and darkness is evil to you. if your not, then all of Hollywood tells you is cool, which is contrary to the Lord, will interest you more

  • One thing you may not consider...whenever the goverment asks you for are "scars and tattos" for identification.

There may be a time when our very ID will need to be hidden.

Another is....age. My grandfather showed me what 50 years had done to his inks.....not pretty.

  • Christians have so many interpretations about tattoos. The bible was written by barbarians in the stone age, therefore I would not look at the bible for guidance in the 21 century. You never know Christians might decide it's OK to own slaves again. As a tattoo artist, and atheist, I really don't want Christians trying to look cool with a nice sleeve.

  • lmao all these fucking bible thumpers screaming their verses in youtube comments.

its a fucking tattoo, if the good lord doesnt want them on us, thats okay, let him not want them on us.

  • this guy is full of shit!!! are you going to believe this liar or the word of "GOD" lets see what jesus said about the law."For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished."

Has heaven and earth passed away? i dont think so...Matthew 5:18

  • @lordgeez Jesus also said Mt 15:18 [T]hose things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.-Your foul language isn't bringing glory to the Lord my friend.

  • @lordgeez I am so so sorry....but you are correct. He came to fufil the law, contemporary thought is irrelevent.

    This is al simply justification.

  • There is no such thing as a Christian tattoo.

  • the question here is whether or not this tattoo artist will do a tattoo that is inappropriate or a representation of death / darkness (skulls, etc). if he does, the answer is clear

  • @thetimothyjr2155 I'm gonna see if I can contact him and ask him that. Thanks.

  • @thetimothyjr2155 That is so judgemental and stereotypical. That kind of representation from a Christian drives people away from Christianity just so you're aware. Who are you to judge this man or any man for that matter anyways? You're not God. Also, as a Christian you are supposed to be like Jesus. And he didn't condemn people or drive them away. I know that none of us a perfect because even as Christians we are still human, but I'm just saying. Please check your heart I guess.

  • @thetimothyjr2155 I was thinking the same thing would he do tattoos like that

  • 1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.--As one who was compelled by the Holy Spirit to have my tats removed, beware of this movement where God accepts anything by anyone for any reason.

  • @filoIII AMEN! This movement of Easy Believism is dangerous. Check out my video on this subject.

  • Tattoos are serious thinking. You want to be with something for the rest of your life. Well being a devout Christian, I see nothing wrong with tattoos as they are art, and God sees the good in a person on the inside, not the outside. On the fence of getting a tattoo. Probably something as simple as a cross or just the words "Revelations 3:5" my favorite bible quote.

  • I say it's up to your personal conviction and you should only do it for the right reasons. Better to love God and have tattoos than to be a hypocrite without tattoos :)

  • It really is amazing how the word of god always mirrors a persons own personal opinion. That sure is convenient, lol.

  • I used to be a protestant, but being a tattoo artist, I was considered an outcast. protestants interpret the bible so many ways that I was confused. The Catholics on the other hand interpret the bible one way, then that interpretation goes in the Catechism. Come to find out there are a lot of uneducated legalistic protestants. protestants are not the united bride of Christ, they cause confusion with their many interpretations of the bible, and their many churches that fight one another.

  • @steelbrushtattoo interpreting correclty like praying the rosary and kissing statues right?? idolatry my friend, God hates it!

  • I used to be a protestant back in the 80's, but because I'm a tattoo artist, the two did not go together. protestants treated me like an outcast. They would recite the old testament, gossip, discriminate, and cause as much pain as possible. There are many ways to interpret the bible. The Catholics have the Catechism that explains how to treat people because the bible is unclear. Now that I'm Catholic I can go to mass with people who are intelligent. who understand the bible and care.

  • i'm a little comfused.i'm a christian.i believe in god.i just read the bible and i didn't knew that tattoo is maybe not christian.i've got my tattoos before 7 years.is that bad for me?others say that bbible forbide tattoos and others say that it doesn't matter to have tattoo.i'm very comfused.i'm thinking to cover up my tattoos.please help me.

  • @2812male.When we accept Jesus and get baptised before men and reborn again in spirit.the old man is dead we are a new creature.we leave such things of our former life behind.

  • @2812male Well you didnt know...now that you dont get anymore and pray about it. God still loves you.

  • I can't. Youtubers all sound the same. It's an addiction to write dumb comments. What a waste of time. Maybe you should get your tattoos approved only by your pastor or priest

  • Use your body to glorify God

    1. Cor. 6:13

    (13) Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

    1. Cor 6:19-20

    (19) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

    (20) For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

  • @RageicaNiels fornication? How bout this? Commenting on youtube is retarded! Oops! That's judging like you just did. Oops, I just did. Get a tattoo with those verses on it. Oh, I almost forgot! NEVER SIN! Oops, can't get past that one either

  • @doyle0h0h7 stop sounding like a retard

  • man i feel so much better now about my tattoo now after watching and reading all this

  • i feel kinda bad ,just read the bible do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on your selves. .:-------( { crying}

  • @spiceone20 you didnt know God knows that. Just dont get anymore now that you know if you feel terrible about it then you shouldnt do it just talking to the Flesh

  • And not to mention, Leviticus is an old testament book! Jesus came to throw out

the OLD WAY and bring a NEW ONE (HIMSELF). He will accept anyone, who looks

any way, speaks any language, or etc. ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS ACCEPT HIM! The

rest will fall into place, perfectly! :)

  • @gav1n046 matthew 5:17

  • @gav1n046 the old and the new together makes the bible. not just the old, not just the new. the old testament speaks of Jesus also. get it together man. God bless you

  • @gav1n046 Old Testament law still applys...

A Good example is John 8, The law still obviously exists but Jesus brought a new perspective.

  • i have a tattoo and don't really feel bad about getting it. the Bible says not to mark your temple yes, and it also says not to harm your body yet there are millions of people that have earings and other piercings on their body so why doesn't anybody hate on that? exactly shut up right now and let us Christians get whatever tattoos we want. ;)

  • up to you and God but shouldn't Americans today accept Jesus and that language than to rub up to the mediere of life going on today?? If someone is longing as you say, than the answer is not a tatoo but the Jesus just Him in that person;s life is all they need. Use His Word, His spirit guiding you, and the your own faith to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. You dont have to spend money on a tatoo to do that. Definitely, look up Lev verse in the bible. Jesus is all you need.

  • tattoos=the mark of the beast

  • @bloodhive you are WAY off bro. x'D

  • Man looks on the outward appearance but God looks on the heart...

  • I dont think getting tatoos is bad, i always think of gal 5:6 "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love" and obviously getting tatoos isn't mentioned in the 1 corinthians 6:9-11 or similar passages. There are some people that wouldn't feel comfortable with tatoos on them, like me, and thats fine too. the are many nonchristians who would find that easier to relate to...

  • You dont need a tat to talk about jesus. Your body is a temple an what good does it have but put wordly stuff on your body. Live in the world but not of the world.

  • the artist is right, props brother!

  • He christ did not redeemed mankind from the Law, but redeemed mankind from satan. by his death. The wage of sin any sin is Death sooner or later... the Adulterer still died, christ just delayed and stop what she would have suffered. mankind stills dies, because the wage of sin is Death

  • Comment removed

  • i see alot of videos about tattoo=bad christian but there is no good or bad christian cuz we're all equal in jesus christ

  • I personally could accept scriptures but not images. But that's my opinion not God's. Jesus speaks the likeness of God, some things are obvious no need to contemplate interpretation you know what's of God and what is the works of the Satan. Being made of his image do you think he would scar himself of an image permanently? Seriously, is this pleasing to God or is this about making money thru the works of satan?

  • oh yes i have tattoot crazy fundie todd bentley.

  • i understand the motives of people like this guy saying its topic for conversation and witness, thats cool but we can't take these things on and try and justify them ourselves. if the bible says something its for the best and we should obey God. It is hard though. not trying to offend anyone, just sharing my thoughts.

  • @fatmanlushi you see i understand where your coming from and im a christian my self, in Leviticus 19:28 it talks about not piercings and tattoos but if you have a bible the explains the chapter in a heading it will say moral and * ceremonial* laws people used to worship idols but cutting them selves and putting tattoos on there body in worship of another god there for i believe its perfectly fine to have both =D

  • Right body is a temple but I think if he knows your not purposly tryna damage your body and to upgrade your appearance its not all that bad

  • fag

  • You should not mark your body for God.He don't need that stuff.Just come as you are.If you already have tatoo on you, gotake if off.

  • @HmongGuitarPlayer ..Wow ....you might have issues...Man looks on the outward appearance but God looks on the HEART. The Pharisees freaked out becuz Jesus didnt wash His hands or follow the Sabbath the way they thot He should...they couldn't get past it...so they plotted to kill Him...hummmm

  • I think its between you and God and what you can live with, no one else really has a say.

  • @hollysmedia You said it is between you and God are you joking what did Christ say no one comes to the Father -God Almighty but through me his only begotten Son.In other words Christ is going to Judge and do inspections according to the Word of God and the Word of God says no markings or cutting on the body before you say but to the dead...Every person on the planet including oneself is dead in sin

  • @vinocacao ok "perfect" one

  • i dont have any tattoos. but i want one, i want to get a religious one, to constantly remind myself what i'm living for. I will use it to as a tool to help myself serve God and inspire others to serve as well. It might let people know that there are bizarre ways to accomplish what needs to be done... eternal faith

  • @polander76 I agree with you! Mann I was just looking up Christian tatoo's and bumped into alot of "Christain" people with hangups about it...some comments here sound like the Pharisees freaking out becuz Jesus didnt wash his hands, observe the Sabbath etc the way they thot He should..He ate with Tax collectors and sinners!!! OMG! smile..did you get your tatoo yet??

  • @cr3062 I cant afford one lol, its going to be a while before i can afford one (broke college kid) but of course i am not opposed to the idea

  • He has ''latched on to'' a religion of his own in which he can do anything he wants to do. That is not a tattoo of Messiah because there is no available image of the face of Messiah.

Is it a wonder that people are surprised when he says ''I'm a Christian''?

Sort of searching? scripture says that none seek Elohim, no not one.

    Fraud...false teacher...blind guide.

  • wow he has a tattoo of the idol jesus

  • Well we are all going to get new risen bodies so this tattoo is just for this lifetime. This flesh will die and decay-the corruptible will take on incorruptibility.

  • Great. I always liked coptic christian tatoos. It has always been in Christian world from very ancient times.

  • Re: Leviticus 19:28: Surrounding verses also say not to "cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard" or "wear clothing woven of two kinds of material." (Hard to keep those commands these days.)

Contrast this with Revelation 19:16, which states that Jesus "on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

I'm not trying to convince the unconvinced, but to give biblical backing for those who are comfortable with tattoos.

  • I think many of the commands are very easy to keep though many Christians don't. It's a choice. conform to society or your religion. (people or god). you choose.

  • Isn't this plain enough! More Christian hypocrites.

You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh on account of the dead or tattoo any marks upon you. I am the Lord--Leviticus 19:28

    Duuuuuu!

  • Bro, you're taking 1 verse from Leviticus and saying to stick by it. Have you read the rest of Leviticus? Check this out, and check the scriptures he quotes.

    /watch?v=cQ9xCSZFtMU&feature=related

    I didn't make it but he's correct.

  • That verse refers to the Old Law, which does not apply to Christians. What your refrencing is Jewish Law. When Jesus established the new covenant, the old law was destroyed

    Acts 13:39

"by this Jesus everyone who believes is set free from all those sins from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses."

    Hebrews 8:13

"In speaking of "a new covenant," he has made the first one obsolete. And what is obsolete and growing old will soon disappear.

  • Christ established the New Covenant through blood, which superceded Old Testament Law

  • Wasn't Jesus dead way before Christianity and the OT was established and put together?

  • The Old Testament that is in the Bible was "put together", long before Jesus came to earth. Christianity began right after Jesus died. The book of Acts is the story of the Apostolic Age of the Early Christian church

  • i dont think tattoing is a sin but it depends cuz we represent christ and we have christ in us so how you look and act represents christ

  • This is what one of my teachers told me in school hes christian i think and he said its not whats on the body its what comes out the body that matters like what you say or do is what he means

  • GOD bless everyone, i respect every opinion but a lot of "christians" use this as an excuse to get a tattoo. Really! ?BROTHERS AND SISTERS I do know that GOD don't see what's outside but inside your heart and that he loves every single one of you no matter what but remember this in " I Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from GOD? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify GOD in your body."

  • @TAZITO16 I have a tat of the 2nd coming, and it reminds me everyday that it's not about how ''good'' i am, But that God's Wrath was upon me and Grace is the only reason, Im alive.I do struggle with the moral aspect of having it, but I do know I have shared my faith with other because of it, only because God works out things for the Good of those who Love Him. Also if we use the ''body is a temple..'' Then you should back that up with how you live..Stop eating Bk, McDonalds..we ALL fall short

  • Amen! brother i totally agree. We are not perfect, but we all try our best to be and to be followers of Crist, and brother don't get this wrong but don't struggle with the moral aspect of having it. Remember that in GOD all things are new, so you're a new man in Crist.

  • @TAZITO16 Also read the verse above, the lev. verse that people like to use, it says pretty much not to shave..we do that anyways too..God doesn't want us doing Taboo and slashing our bodies and bleeding in time of grief, that is what they did back then..So God wanted us to be recognizable from them...Today, we have clean machines, and things are done different and for different reasons too..If it was like a taboo today, then YES i would agree to stay AWAY!

  • @TAZITO16 YOU ARE MISUSING THAT VERSE! IT IS TALKING ABOUT FORNICATION!

Read verse 18! "Flee fornication. ***Every sin that man doeth is WITHOUT THE BODY; but he that committeth fornication sins AGAINST HIS OWN BODY.

Personally I think tattooing is a sin. In Leviticus God tells us not to mark our bodies. Regardless of it being in the old testament, "If you love me keep my commandments."

  • Yes our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. So why should we not decorate this temple?

  • Comment removed

  • First of all, is that saying dont tattoo any marks upon you on the account of the dead? And if you're gonna look at that verse why not look at 19:27 "Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard."?

  • lol

  • Any of you know where this Studio 13 tattoo shop is at?

  • I'm certainly no legalist and I love the diversity of true Christians but I do find it interesting that tattoos are mentioned in a negative context in the bible and seem to be completely optional and easily avoidable, yet people who are Christians still want them.

Granted, this guys' heart sounds like it's in the right place to me but I still find it to be a tricky subject.

  • Hey guys, so I would just like to say that: I am a christian, I have tattoos, I have piercings and Jesus loves me just the same. I am tired of people bickering over this. Leviticus 19:28 (I believe) is referring to tattooing and cutting your body as a form of worship of Baal. If you do not believe me please do you research. This is not worth whining about. It is a personal choice. If you do not agree then keep your judgment to yourself please and stop heckling me with your opinions.

  • Just give 'em Romans 14.

  • That is true, the reason that Leviticus 19:28 says that is because the Heathens use to have a ritual when some one died they got a tattoo for baal, so people think all tattoos are bad. When really it has nothing to do with that. I have tattoos and jesus and god still love me.

  • I totally agree with you!

  • Yo!!!!!

Dude, I think not, thank you............

Are we not HAPPY with the body that God has given us?

Are we to use it to be a 'bill board'.

    Pollute it with grafiti?

    Find P E A C E in Christ and you won't need tattoos..........
