yes the tee is a great tool for all ages, yes it will promote a compact swing and focus your swing to create more line drives...but this video lost me as soon as he said you "always make contact in front of the plate" somebody please tell me they are coaching their team to let the ball get deep in the zone and drve the ball hard to the opposite field...please tell me the art of hitting has not been reduced to strictly working on pulling the ball at practice

well i for one am a beleiver in the TEE... my high school baseball coach went to a tony gwynn seminar and he had a bunch of baseball training products on stage and he threw them all off and set a tee on there and said it was the best training aid out there. I havent looked back since, helped me tremendously especially in college. KIAC conference player of the year.

wow you are all idiots. the tee is used all throughout college and the mlb. so i dont think its just for 3rd graders... its helped me greatly throughout my high school career so far... i reccommend it if u wish to improve your mechanics, balance, and control

Hitting off of a tee is really good practice its better thatn hitting BP - i sometime workwith a Major Leauge Hitting coach and we work on alot with a tee - so shut up everybody who thinks tees are for babies
