Ah! Thank you for the consideration! I really struck a bad chord, metaphorically speaking, with some of the people here because of the tempo. It really gets to them for some reason... I personally like a little variety sometimes.

Increasing the tempo was a good idea, but I think you could slow down a little... From 00:11 to 00:17 it doesn't fit, but else you play very well:)

Balamb Garden is such a nice little piece. It has a very nice feeling into it. You play it smooth and I kinda like the tempo you've chosen... Just a matter of taste I guess, since everyone is pointing you to play more slowly. This piece "asks" for more though, if you know what I mean. Michael Huang did make a Piano arrangement for this piece... You should search it and take a listen! :)

I disagree with you: the orignal Balamb Garden theme from Final Fantasy VIII is played slowy. Besides, I bought Final Fantasy VIII piano book and I can to tell you that the tempo is "86". But your performance was good even if I didn't like the tempo.

Yeah, a lot of people have been pointing that out. When I was learning the song, I was listening to a recording of the Video Game Pianist's version for reference, and he plays it about that fast, so I did too. I didn't watch anybody else's video until I'd already posted it, so by then it was too late. Oh well. Still fun to play though.
